Followed Scottish trad for more decades than I care to remember now, I'm an OAP or Senior Citizen (call it what you will. )See a few moaners here on CZcams who are stuck in the 60s timewharp and just won't progress with the music as it is today, it's a shame because they are missing out on hearing wonderful modern Scottish bands like Rura, Talisk, Skerryvore ,Ross Ainslie,Julie Fowlis Duncan Chisholm .Laura Wilkie and so many other wonderful artists from all over Scotland that are serving up Ambrosia for the ears I wear earbuds and have everything switched up to the max for that beautiful wall of sound that blasts out around 2.00 mins
Very well said (or typed!)... This music is incredible. I highly recommend Project Smok as well, also from Scotland.
@@asloem Thank's for the tip about Project Smok Asloem, just subscribed to their channel and they sound really good. .As I said in my previous post I enjoy RURA ,Ross Ainslie ,Tide Lines ,Julie Fowlis ,Kinnaris Quintet , Elephant Sessions ,Duncan Chisholm, Talisk , The Paul McKenna band, Skerryvore ,Breabach,,Ainslie Hamill, etc are just some of the great Young Scottish (and not so young anymore )bands and artists that are all around us here in Scotland.All of whom are on here at CZcams

Saw these guys play at King's Place in London in the spring. They absolutely killed it - including this song. Adam suffered a snapped string right at the height of the crescendo (~2:00 in this video) and had to dash off to find a new one. Came back and carried on where they'd left off like nothing had happened. They were fantastic!
Having listened to trad music for decades, this is the best most brilliant and powerful performance I have ever come across. Outstanding track moving trad music forward to hopefully appeal to a younger generation.... got to be better than music was at a rave event. 👏👏👏

I have goosebumps each and every time I hear this tune. Fabulous jobs guys! I am happy that when I put this song into loop on Spotify I don't ruin the quality of the music like back in the old times when I collected records on CDs / cassette tapes. LOL 🤣🤣
