I recently build a very similar one before seeing this video. More focus on casting from exile so I added cards like famming tyranosaurus and the lost and the damned. Also I added time sieve, if I can generate 5 treasures a turn I have infinite turns loop with it.
Just picked up Ahoy Mateys the other day, love Don Andres but decided to stick with a more pirate tribal theft build where my only non-pirate is Laughing Jasper Flint. We'll see how it goes this weekend but from my testing on Forge it's a blast to play.

I run Urza, Lord High Artificer with my deck. Keeps me from needing to sacrifice my treasures, plus his abilities make a great attacker for all those treasures and can combo pretty well with Prosper
I had amulet of vigor in play, I Milled half of everyone library with maddening cacophony then cast Mnemonic Betraal and got infinite mana with basalt monolith and power artifact, and played half of everyone's deck, and yes I did eventually win when someone drew a ton of cards, and I tried to wheel, got countered and cast it again with mizzix mastery
I have an Admiral Beckett Brass deck with a proxy of my Haunt character as the commander and it turns out I might need a new proxy because this is a very interesting commander
I have a similar deck running Rakdos, lord of riots as commander, the ideia is that he will reduce the cost of all those creature spells you'll be casting.
All of the Primordials are good in this deck. The black one reanimates creatures, The red one steals creatures, and the blue one steals spells. I would run all of them.
Loving this deck tech! totally going to make something like this but hoping to still include a decent amount of pirates from the precon to sorta still tie it into pirate theme, do you reckon that can work?

Amulet of vigor would be pretty good to untap your treasure tokens with, allowing you to spin your wheels more.

Breaches would be very good here

i think having a sub pirate theme is pretty important. you gotta be able to also win with ur own stuff
