- Joseph went from being the child of a caring father to a slave at auction. In the face of such trying circumstances, he could have become bitter and resentful. Instead, he trusted God. Alistair Begg points us to the life of Joseph to demonstrate that there is no ideal place to serve God except where He has established us. We may not know how God is at work, but we can trust that He will use life’s difficult times for His glory.
Scripture: Genesis 39:1-7
Preached: February 18, 1996

I thank God for you Pastor Begg! Your clarity in teaching me Bible is a blessing to me!
God bless you 🙏🙏
Brilliant sermon.
I am curious, you look much younger in these last videos, that it says they wer😮e done from ew hours ago, not years ago. Your hair is darker with no grey hairs , less wrinkles and a as I said before, much younger looking, can you tell us if these are older videos or a miraculous rejuvenation? If this sermon was done few hours ago, in January of 2024, then I remain curious ,but if it was filmed 5 or 10 years ago, then it is a real look of pastor Begg. So, what is it? Thank you
Hi, Thanks for your question. Yes, this was preached in 1996. Typically we try to add the date it was preached in the description of the video. The notation that said it was done a few hours ago just means it was uploaded to our CZcams channel a few hours ago. I hope this helps. Blessings, TFL Staff
