Why is it that when I discuss this issue the ones who think Begg is wrong always use extreme examples to support their position.?

That is the kind of love Jesus loves us with.
It is Unconditional.

Im sorry to bring this up but I havent had a chance to so far. Grace to the undeserving is still hated by the modern day Pharisees. The rage and condemnation against this man are mind blowing. Even if he got it wrong (i dont believe he did) the zeal to stone him is horrifying. For what its worth, i stand by his stand- that the Lord continually showed grace to those the religious zealots did not. May the Spirit create that heart in all his children.

It's funny how people keep commenting on the wrong video, when the post or video posted is not about that topic, yet people keep bringing it out. Say it once is enough, saying it so many times is like a noisy wife, like raindrop keep raining down (see Proverbs 19:13). Saying it so many times makes it noisy, rather than helpful. I think he defended himself is because of the noises from the Internet. It has been really noisy for the last 12 days, and man, if you put yourself in Pastor Begg shoes, I think you will defend yourself as well. Just stop the noises, please. Nagging is not a Christian way.

I take from this message that when looking for truth, we start by looking to see if God is at the centre. This brings us to one Godly marriage, one identity, one hope, one reality. It is us and our sin driven perspectives that has lead us our the current pick and mixed anxiety driven confused state. There is a beautiful logic , unity, inclusiveness, identity, and moral framework that holds everything in perfect balance, and it's found in the designer God. I think we need to give people a vision and alternative that they are actually desperately seeking , but we have to be good communicators, and we have to find them where they are not where we want them to be.
How did Jesus tell us to judge? Are we to be quick to judge and past judgment? Has anyone in their faith grown to such a level that Jesus’ everlasting mercy and grace aren't needed anymore, and you have remained sinless? That any of you coming in your judgment, know for sure all who are the Sheep of the Lord in our day and age?
Tell me, how are we to spread the Good News to all nations if we are cutting “all those sinners” out of our lives for our own “purity”? That we should only associate with the anointed around us and leave those heathens to their lot. God would understand why we left those people to their sin because, after all, wouldn't He have done the same?
It's not like the religious leaders of His time criticized Him for, oh, I don't know hanging out with the sick or the sinners they refused to even be around.

Just 3 days ago an acquaintance stopped by as I was working and learned he is not a believer and a flat earther. I was totally surprised. Most sadly was that he said nothing I could say would change his beliefs so I ended our conversation with ill pray the Lord Jesus will open your heart and mind to a new Way 🙏🙏🙏🔥✝️❤️

Begg was Absolutely Right.! You don't win people by rejecting them.

Jesus went to Matthew's house to eat, (a tax collector.!!!) and everyone one was appalled, yet Jesus was right.

Jesus healed the servant of the Centurian. Which everyone judged to be a heathen.
Yet Jesus said, of him, "I have not seen such faith in all of Israel.!"

I used to be Greatly Homophobic in my passed. I thought these people were doomed to hell.
I was wrong. God forced me into several relationships with "gay people".
And to my surprise I found many of them to be just as faithful as I was.
We love to take scripture to use as a weapon of judgment.
That is exactly what the Pharisees did with the Law.
Sin is Sin. We all fall short.
But Paul said, "Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: (condemeth) for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things." (Romans 2:1)
Jesus didn't join the prostitutes in the brothels though, nor did he sit in the tax collecting booths. He met them where they was at, but not literally/ physically. He ate with sinners, associated with them but didn't join them in their sin. If Jesus was alive today in the flesh He would be sure to eat, drink and commune with those that live party lifestyles and those that are into drinking and doing drugs, but im pretty sure He would not be found in nightclubs or at raves.

Sadly, while I would typically listen to Truth for Life, I do not feel able at this time. Begg needs to spend significant time in reading the Word, meeting with God, and consulting with those he was once on a par with theologically.

Even the very elect could be deceived. Be careful of judgments friend. Whether you agree or disagree, are you sure you've removed the beam in your own eye before helping your brother with the speck in his? I too trouble over this subject but I do know several months ago Alistair was asked never to come back and speak at a university he spoke at for 12 years for saying a marriage is between a man and a woman. Have you actually listened to what Alistair said before you went on this rant? Tell me when Jesus said “they will hate you because of me” what context did He say that in? Jesus said He is sending us out as sheep among wolves, and in the Great Commission the Lord told us to make disciples of all nations. Not of the places we want to make them but the whole world. Jesus went to those who were sick and gave them the good news and commanded us to do the same! God came down into this world to intercede on our behalf. Should He have just stayed in heaven since all were dead in their sin and at odds with the Law? Knowing that we would kill Him, knowing there would be rejection, and they would hate Him but that still did not stop Him from going to the world. Who are you or anyone else to think that you know better than God who is or isn't His sheep? How are we to love our enemies if we are too busy cutting them out of our lives? How are they to continue to see the love of God in our lives if we have stricken them from our sight? Have any of us arrived in our faith that we don't need the compassion, mercy, and grace of our Lord over our sins?

Seems like a nice enough person, but his defense of the gay wedding is full of error. He was not at all humble and the fact he called concerned believers a bunch of Pharisees is sad. I truly pray he doesn’t turn into a heretical pastor who says all love is love.

Alistair has had a fruitful ministry for 50 years. Judge the fruit. His position on homosexuality is biblical and has remained unchanged.

He is allowed to have his opinion, fine, I personally do not agree with his advice, but that doesn't make him a heretic, not even close. Even though I disagree with attending a trans wedding personally - based on scripture, it's not a real wedding at all. God gets to define what a wedding is, and its between a man and a women, and that's it. I still don't understand attending or giving a gift in this context, I guess that's not for me.
