I call this the left side view mirror, or left side mirror. The windshield mirror inside the car is typically called the rear view mirror. As another poster mentioned, it is safe to pull in front of the moving car, only when both headlights are visible in the interior rearview mirror. ❤
I would not labor the point. Technically, the car has 3 rear view mirrors. One inside mirror and two outside mirrors. I also call them side mirrors or door mirrors. I wonder what determines correct or common usage.
That’s fine for parked cars. Interior mirror should be used for moving vehicles, and only pull in when you can see the complete front of the vehicle. Happy driving 👍🏻
Exactly! Simple and clear. For parked vehicles when you use the side mirrors especially when reversing into a parking with vehicles parked behind, a full image of the vehicle would mean your not close to hitting a vehicle but a quarter or half image would mean you can hit the vehicle!
@@tk.pabloyt Sometimes it is not the driver behind you, but some impatience driver behind them who refuse to let you pass and then decided to speed up...I just let them go as a new driver navigating the road and not in a rush.
It depends on the car, and how you have them adjusted. Also different wing mirrors may have a different curvature, making objects appear futher away but giving wider field of vision. center mirror is (or should be) flat, giving a a better sense of perpective of distance,
sorry pls dont mislead audience in such way coz there is no definite method to overtaking any vehicle, you need to watch the actual condition before you can decide what to do.
In simple words after overtaking if you see the full image of the vehicle that you have overtaken, you can then get back into the lane. If you do not see the full image but a quarter or a half of the vehicle do not cut back into the lane. And in the video your not using your "rear view mirror", your using your "side mirrors" or "wing mirrors"!
You people do not think about the distance, the speed, the width, you generation all drive too closely simple as that, common sense you ignore but poor judgement you trust. Thats just dumb

overtake when full car is seen in mirror
Good one
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Which side is safe to overtake smoothly
Exactly. The full car should be seen, not a quarter of it or a half of the cars image but the full car!
If you calculate like this while driving, you definitely hit someone
😂😂😂
What’s there to be calculated? Just remember to only overtake when you can see a full car on the mirrors, not half or a part, it’s that simple
Why did I read overthinking 😂😂
On a dual carriage way, I move in once i see them in my rear view mirror, it's a lot safer.
Exactly. Using the rear view mirror is simpler and easier than the side/wing mirrors!
Judgements right and left perfectl
First check for their speed, compared to yours, by using the inside rear view mirror.
Yeah a common sense

lol come to Ghana we overtake once we see the right headlight of the vehicle in the side view mirror

center mirror is (or should be) flat, giving a a better sense of perpective of distance,
Rear view mirror usage is fine as long as you signal to the one behind that you are shifting
Good job
Why not use Rear view mirror....? When the vehicle is in the full frame you can then overtake.

Thanks
Millions thanks!!!!!!!!

I can feel Indians laughing on this video.
You are so fast..why xant you keep it simple slow
Driver could/should look over to see if his way is clear.
Wow
Car driving tip overtaking
If that's what that driver could see in that mirror then s/he should get someone to adjust it properly. One thirst of the mirror is waste.
sound song.??
😍😍👍
Bro come to Pakistan 🤣
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
So fast
What about infront of you😢
It is not accurate and dependable. The driver who wants to overtake should allow a safe distance farther than that before overtaking.
yes but don't put your eyes off the road in front of you... it's no good to focus too much on the mirror
poor driving by cammer. That gap when moving back in after the overtake was about a half a second.
You people do not think about the distance, the speed, the width, you generation all drive too closely simple as that, common sense you ignore but poor judgement you trust.
Thats just dumb
So you have a tiktok account coz am more of tiktok
When you move too quickly in front of the car you just overtook, is what we termed as cut-in which we all must avoid.
Ok
Jeepers really its obvious
Bro doesnt know how to should check aswell
Say slowly not hurry people should understand your saying
In my country you can overtake when you are just one set of tires 🛞 ahead
