I love the looks of this car. But Infiniti's quality and reliability might be their own worst enemy as regards new car sales. To wit: My wife's 2007 Infiniti M35S which we purchased new has 120,000 miles now and drives like the day we bought it. Clearwater Lokey Infiniti service has been spectacular! Although the Q70L has more room in the rear seat, it's just not different enough from our 2007 model to justify trading it in. At the time our M35 came out, it was the state of the art. The current model appears to be more of a "place holder" until Infiniti catches up with the competition. Nissan products seem unbreakable. I currently also own a 2011 Armada Platinum and a 2009 Nissan GTR both since new. There really isn't anything on the market right now that doesn't cost an "arm and a leg" that I'd replace them with. If you want a great car that you can drive 'til the wheels fall off, Nissan/Infiniti is a good way to go. I would compare them to the Zippo lighter. Sure, there are Dunhill solid gold lighters out there, but the Zippo is still pretty cool and it always works.

The spoiler is a must-have with this car. It is beautifully designed but when it came to the rear. It's like the designer got sick and the temp took over.

Why haven't they updated this vehicle in years? It's outdated and their competition is way ahead...

Their competition is wayyyyy behind in build quality, and vehicle execution. I am an Infiniti buyer, and this is how we like our Infinity's.

What a great car this COULD be. The center stack is way to old. Goes back as far as 2012 Maxima. Also, the dashboard has that small rectangular box between gauges. OLD OLD. this should be a full LCD display using all the real estate up (A8, Mercedes, tons of others).. A flagship should not have that "medicine bag leather" around the gear shift. Complete cheese. And last, the Info screen. Way to small, to recessed and what is all the plastic around the screen. Should be all screen. Ext and seats are great, lots of leg room in back, but man, this car needs total redo in the front. Looks like they do not care about the car. Why put it out?

My 2011 M37S transmission blew out at 80,000 miles. Side mirrors never worked properly folding in an out. Drivers side mirror has so much play I taped the under side to hold it in place. I manually shift the car with the paddle shifters as the factory automatic shift points are complete shit. The transmission is always ready to shift to a higher gear, downshifts are delayed. I drove a rental toyota corolla S model with steering wheel mounted shifters and the transmission would hit the gears bang bang bang...Infiniti Nissan transmissions in these cars suck!!! Very loud tire noise from the OEM Bridgestone RE050A tires. Very athletic car. Gas mileage is the same as my 2007 M45S.
