i moved from seattle to los angeles almost 2 years ago, post-grad, no job lined up, and it was the scariest thing ever! imposter syndrome is def realllll and i felt that. i work as a graphic designer at savage x fenty now and looking back it's just so crazy how things fall into place. i hope you're having great time settling in!
loving following your journey! and all the care and honesty that goes into your content 😍
thank you so much
I resonate with this so much!! I just moved by myself for the first time and feel like I have also been having an identity crisis lol. I didn't have as much creative design time (outside of work) and was wondering what in the world am I doing! I'm finally finding my routine and getting comfy in my new home. And whenever I'm in a creative rut I always remember how your videos remind me that design is fun! So I just keep designing because it's what I love ❤
Thank you for sharing these videos! They're so lovely. You're so lovely. I'm a brand designer / brand strategist and I *also* recently moved to LA. The anxiety / disruption of uprooting is REAL and it definitely affected my creative practice. Cheers to figuring it all out while having fun :)
I pray that you get all this figured out but honestly no one ever does even now I've to take a big decision living a big city to moving to a tiny place in the small city its horrifying but its best for future so that I can save up
These are such great, well-made videos. Thank you so much for putting them together. They are relatable and inspiring. Welcome to LA!
aww thank you so much!
Your videos always make my day!
comments like these make me so happy!!!!!!!!!
I am graphic designer and I m gonna change my job in the next mounth and I feel pretty the same since I will be working on projects that I am not familiar with and that makes me really scared and unsure about a lot of things especially that my current job is my comfort zone and my happy place. I loved watching your video makes me less lonely :(
you got this!!!!!!
super uplifting
ahahah I can so relate with what you said about the barbie movie! excited for all the LA videos!
yay!!!!!!!!!!! thank you for the support hehe
I was also in the same situation, but instead, I wasn't sure what I wanted to be. I always wanted to be a teacher, but I realized that teaching wasn't for me, so I wanted to switch my major, but I dropped out of college because of how expensive it is. This is why I found your channel, and you're one of the reasons why I wanted to become a graphic designer. Keep your head up, I support you. ❤❤❤❤❤
Edit: Sorry for my grammar, it's the stupid auto-correct.
thank you so much for the support!!! rooting for u
