@@Bahamut998 I get that, and considering the tone of the game, it's probably appropriate. It's just that many design concepts typically stay the same across the franchise like the chocobo and the moogle. Just strange and unfamiliar to make the cute tonberry so......warrior-like.
@@TR-fl2el There is an entire set of side quests in the DLC that explores the Tonberries that roam Mysidia. This adds lore entries that are detailed about the tonberry creepers, the master tonberries, and finally the Tonberry King. Basically they feed off people's grudges and despair, and roam where there has been much of it. Due to Leviathan and what the tribe of water did to its dominant, the tonberries are very present there. They are portrayed as super evil lol.
Final Fantasy XVI is rated M, I think they’re going for the more scary look and more seriousness on the monsters. I don’t think cuteness wouldn’t fit for monster designs in this world.
What would you say it the best build in the game, I like using Ultima, Odin and Leviathan but I feel like Ultima is more flashy than actually being really good
I didn't bought the dlc yet but it seems fun from what i'm seeing and the lighting in these new areas look great. Tonberry is cursed though ngl 😂
Best outfit ever for Clive.
Well done
Awesome 💪😎👍
Oh wait, there’s Tonberry in FF16? How do i get this battle?
Part of the second dlc.
More importantly, why do you have 3 limit break bars? Bruh.....😅
Hell he got the job done
Why she just standing there lol
Tonberry King was easy to dodge! But nice video though
Why Tonberry so creepy and non-cute in this version???
FF XVI is more grounded, and it’s also a nod to FFXI iteration of a tonberry.
Tonberries in this game in terms of lore are beasts that are full of hatred and grudges.
Hence their deathly appearance.

His accessory to increase ultimate demise dmg is good.
I don't think there is a best build. It's what playstyle you prefer.
Personally I'm 100% Leviathan build since the DLC dropped, its too much fun.
