  • BRIGHTON -- Joe Mazzulla addressed the Celtics' practice on Wednesday, focusing on defensive adjustments for Game 2. He stated, "Every basket scored, you have to ask yourself, what are you willing to live with and what do you have to take away... you gotta pick and choose your battles because of the type of pressure that this team puts on you."

@@GeorgeRay-fv2nn Everyone has his lane. He's working on his. Perhaps you are a fair weather fan or on the periphery, but if you've paid attention to Sean Grande, Cedric, Eddie House, Scal, Joe and occasionally the other players, you've heard repeatedly - all season - that Luke has really focused on what the coaching staff has wanted him to do which is play defense, get blocks and rebounds, and catch lobs. He isn't being asked to be Porziņģis but I suspect that if he really focused on this next off season he could get a lot closer (I hope you see this Luke! go get it!). Nobody on the team has a problem with Kornet. He is huge, he makes the right reads most of the time, he is an exemplary teammate, and he bring humor, levity and fun to the game. If you are such a hot shot, get your butt out on the floor and do better, eh? Joe trusts him. So do I. and Bobby? He is a great beat reporter and a nice guy. Sometimes nice guys lose in the scrum. that's ok. he gets to hang out in the locker room and watch the games from an amazing vantage point and has personal access to the players and staff. How about you? I'm done now. :)
