Native to the African continent, Stapelia grandiflora, more commonly known as Carron Plant, Starfish Flower, or Giant Toad Plant, is an exotic flowering evergreen succulent plant that is surprisingly easy to grow. although not a true cactus, it does exhibit many similar characteristics.

Have you ever tried the Dracunculus vulgaris plant? The bloom portion is quite impressive, getting as tall as 20 in with a width of 8 in! But the aroma of the plant is absolutely ghastly, smelling like rotting meat.

Hi Alien. Yes I have indeed and it is truly a wonderful looking plant. Would I grow it again? Mmmm, I'm undecided as the stink turns my stomach .Simon
