An Honest Avan Aspire 555 Caravan Review

*BEWARE!! Additional information - we discovered that the Avan axle is hollow. Obviously it is made for only 'on tar' travel. Please see this video for more info of what happened to us. And no - we were not on the Gibb or any other corrugated highway. And we contacted Avan (WA) with photos of the damage and have received no reply.*

We have had our Avan for almost 2 years now and thought it may be helpful to do a review so anybody considering one would know a bit more about it.
Overall we like our Avan and it serves us well, but there have been a couple of issues. We do a walk through - and walk around - and offer some tips on caravan life.

Hi where did you buy the front window stone protector for stone chips, insulation, i was unable to find it in accessories. We also sit up in bed and were discussing how to cover window without using the blind as they seem very flimsy, then we saw what you have done and is a great solution. Thank you Darryl

We are in WA and we had it custom made at a place called Kansas Kraft in Cockburn. It was about $700. Not cheap but well worth it.
