Not trying to backseat game or anything, just giving a tip from a fellow encore enjoyer. Encore can swap characters during her resonance skill to avoid damage and it will continue to cast and she will be invulnerable (I saw you eating a laser in the vid, with your concerto being full. In this instance, you could have swapped characters, avoided the damage, and dropped her outro skill on the target). When she is about to end the animation, swap back to her and continue the combo. Encore is also the only character in the game right now that enables the switch tech playstyle to a major extent. You can watch Iwintolose's video entitled "play three characters at once" on it to learn more about what I'm talking about as it would take way too long to type out a proper explanation.

Thanks, didn't know that switching out doesn't cancel her Resonance Skill, I only do this during HA when her Forte Circuit is full because its animation so damn long lol.
she is not the only imo but one of, like calcharo.. and other like jianxin or even spectro rover. you should know it yourself considering the vid you're recommending

Encore is an underrated character considering that she can literally shred every enemies hp because the amount of burst dmg her skill and heavy does.

JIanxin works as support well too. She buffs the Ultimate (liberation) damage + heals/shields as well so she can enable that 5piece set for the atk bonus.
That's who I was using for a while. You can eat absurd amounts of dmg
That would work if her if damage was coming from her ult, not basic attacks in the ult state, in the description it mentions Basic attack, Heavy attack and Res Skill damage, but nothing does Liberation damage so the buff isn't doing anything for her
Does buffing UL affect Chalcaro's slash attacks and Encore's??
@@anyaforgors Nowhere in Encore's kit does it say she deals any Liberation damage, the only thing her Liberation does is change her attacks, but in Chalcaro's kit the only thing mentioned doing Liberation damage is his dodge counter, weirdly though on Encore's it specifically states her Basic attacks are considered Basic Attack damage, but for Chalcharo it's left kind of vague, so you would need to test that yourself to make sure

i pulled her purely because of her aesthetic with the free ticket we were given, but she soon became my main dps. her playstyle is fun and energetic, and going demon mode with her ult is satisfying af.

She's my first 5 star pull. The first time I got her, I got quite annoyed with her voice because she's so loud compared to my previous party companion (Yangyang). But after further playing and meeting her in the main story, I am quite in love with her personality (especially when she was trying to charm MC) and interested with her background. For gameplay, the only thing I hate at first is her forte. But after many times trying to find the best way to use it, I love to use her forte as DoT-nuclear-vacuum then switch to another character which is very fun to use as additional dps or finishing move. I hope this sacrificial lamb gets more support later so she can prove that no one can stand against her alive 😈.

So I've found you can also use skill, quickly swap to another character in my case rover, do some quick m1s/skill whilst encors skill is going and then swapping back to encore to use the skills finisher

Great guide!! one question. During ultimate buffs like Jianxin outro add ult dmg?? or is just pure basic atack dmg?
Unfortunately for Encore, your damage during your ult is categorized as basic attack or skill damage, so resonance ilberation damage doesn't affect her T_T
RNGesus blessed me with ancore on the chosen banner at around pull 45, and I got the standard banner rectifier on the first pull. In Genshin I'm literally bottom 10% with my 5* luck, so I'm really happy it seems to be different in Wuwa

unfortunately, no, for now you'll just have to get a feel for it - hopefully they add a buff tracker somewhere

Will yinlins outro liberation damage increase affect encore? I feel like no since encores liberation specifies that attack damage are basic and heavy. I hope it will though!
Can I assume since you mentioned the rotation on her empowered state, that her Heavy won’t do the empowered damage if the timer expires before it hits? Or does it count as an empowered Heavy all the way as long as you cast it before the timer? The latter would make much more sense from a game design perspective, but if it’s the former I guess it adds a nice layer of skill
I tried a few times to test to the best of my abilities, and it seems to count as long as you start it while empowered
So I intend to main Rover, I already pulled a Emerald Of Genesis for her. But im currently deciding who I could rotate DPS along side her(Ive pulled 3 yangyangs so fa, so shes going to be my 3rd I gets with M3 I guess?).. But getting the free 5star pull. Im deciding between Verina and Encore. I been leaning on Encore. And I thnk thats who I will go with.. I was thinking of going for the 5star wepaon, but seeing this guide, theres a better one not in the game yet.. So am I best just using the 3star and T5ing it for now ? (I assume is cost effective?) I actually got a 4star commet flare, but it looks like a healers bonus.
I got her 2 times when pull that early pulling and was extremely dissapointed,BUT when i got to play a little more i was amazed by how good she is,so for skill leveling her dmg comes mostly from ult state so normal atacks are useless to lvl up
Does her normal attack level not affect damage during her liberation?
Her liberation states damage is considered basic attack and heavy attack damage respectively.
This is what has me confused on yinlin outro too, since I don't know if it would affect encore since her only liberation damage is from charged heavy.

im not sure but dont you think Jianxin can be a support for encore too? have sheild, can heal, buff the next characters ulti, can also use energy recharge echo to buff next character?
also forgot to add, so with Jianxin shield for encore, dont need to dodge during ulti and can just do the combo

I actually used Jianxin for quite a while until I got Mortefi and I think she'd a fine option if you want to be more defensive!

Agreed! She's definitely my favorite character in the game atm.
I would def go against the idea, that she is a main dps. That's only true, if you don't have any other built main dps on your roster.
With no ultimate up and 12sec cd on skill she can't do anything except auto attacking helplessly with most of her field time. She is a burst sub dps, but easily one of the strongest at that, BUT her outro+heavy charge quickswap has to connect to really push her damage cycles. One of her greatest strength is the flexibility of the length of her burst window, as you can decide to either go two rotations and charge the heavy at the last second or do a quick burst combo until concerto is full and then immediately finish it with the heavy and continue with your main dps for an absolutely massive two character burst.

I think the switching is also good for when you wanna switch while the animation for the echo is ongoing right? it doesnt cancel when i switch
Yeah you should only use her full gauge heavy when swapping.
Whats the meaning "deepen" on some outro skill character? I mean they can just said "incrase basic attack"
It's a unique multiplier, so increased damage that isn't additive with anything else if I understand correctly.

World is your Oyster! Check the resonances and seeif there's one you want

Calcharo is hot and hits hard.. basically nose bleed while enemies bleed to death

What are the specs of ur pc? I face extreme stuttering on my rtx 3050 laptop, which cab run gesnshin on high settings with stable 60 fps

Did Heavy attack dmg is depend on ultimate dmg?
As I understand it:
The standard heavy attack in her standard form (the laser she shoots forward) is based on heavy attack damage
The normal heavy attack in her transformed state is based on your ultimate damage/level
The AOE explosion heavy from having full gauge is based on Forte Circuit level
You can change characters while Encore cast Forte Circuit, so long waiting doesn't matter
which weapon is better for her Variation or Jinzhou Keeper?
If I had to pick between the two, I'd go Jinzhou

You can likely do all the content even with a 4 star weapon, so don't worry too much!
i was lucky to get her on the begginer banner, and grabed verina with yesterdays ticket, just unsure if its worth chasing dupes at the 80x pull guaranteed or if it would be wiser do grab a new unit
Personally I went with a new unit. Most of her resonance are minor dmg upgrades, so Id rather have the unit flexibility for content!
i went all my guarantee to her she is now c2 spamming ultimate ,i dont have verina but baizhi is enough for heal and buffs tho 😂

Nope basic attacks and skills are still considered their own category.

@@Morax024 mostly yeah. You still use your skill on CD when possible, but shouldn't interrupt your ba chain to do so. And you'll heavy attack towards the end. Jianxin can be used but is mostly a defensive option!

Choose which ever you like more. Both are good, but if you want to play meta then its calcharo.
Even then if you want to play calcharo, it's best to pair him with yinlin
Both are great options! If you go for Calcharo, try to get yinlin in the next banner, and if you go for encore, try to get the stringless weapon next banner!
Calcharo. Plus, if you master him, you'll look good with him.
