I can confirm that it still works as of October 3
Nice
Did they fix it because I just sat here and did what he did and its literally still empty for me 🤦🏽♂️
But in what year ? What time zone ? Position in relation to International Date Line ?
I'm assuming October 3rd 2022 as views said this a year ago. All other questions are irrelevant, except whether it's been patched. ME2 was too stupid for me to play again.
@@PhoenixDawnX77it’s literally the best of the trilogy but ok
On a side note, if you just doing a simple play through, I've found that you don't necessarily have to do that many saves... I usually only do about 30 or 40 just to give you enough of a head start, that way you'll still have enough of a lead to win every conversation that you'll encounter throughout the rest of the game so long as you do ALL of the side missions and get as many paragon and renegade points possible.
Thanks for this video man appreciate it as I messed up Tali’s loyalty mission and now I know this I’ll do this for awhile before doing it as I need to fill up to 40% for Tali’s first loyalty mission
I just started playing legendary edition. I dig your videos and subscribed. I never knew about this glitch early on. Thing that really sucks is that you do not have access to the squad page so you cannot see your current level of Paragon or Renegade points. The good thing is that the mission ends after just a few minutes, you can quickly check your point levels and if necessary just reload and continue. But damn, I spent over an hour doing this glitch and i was only half full on both and i had an import bonus too. But like you pointed out, its not necessary to max them both to get all the conversation choices as long as you do things right. IMO, this glitch is worth it, even though it takes forever, especially if you do not have an import bonus and want to experience all possible conversation paths (Unless you are on the PC, because you can just download the ME editor tool and set your values to whatever you want). The fact can do this within the first 15 minutes of play is totally key. Nice video, helped me out.
So I just did this going +4 every time:
Imported character for +190 paragon/renegade points and did this about 150 times.
Then (literally 3 min later) leveled up that skill that gives you +100% Paragon/Renegade and that put me at about 1/5 in the last segment. Which is good enough for me^^
Took 1 hour in-game time and about 1 1/2 realtime.
I'm playing the trilogy for the very first time and I'm trying to do it on insanity 100% legit (paragon) BUT I have saved this vid in case I want to do a quick playthrough as a total renegade. Thanks man!
What is insanity
@@Karel_The_Goat37 the hardest game difficulty
Bro I can barley play on easy 😩
@@AmongUs-fz4bk I figured I'm only gonna play it once (legitimately) so I wanna maximize everything. It's actually not near as bad as I expected. I thought I'd be rage quitting for sure but I'm already half way through ME2 on insanity and I'm having a blast! I uploaded a vid on my channel of my final boss fight in ME1 (won't say the name here in case spoilers). It was a long friggin battle man haha
How in the heck did you beat saren he was to jumpy for me but I got him 😂
You should do a video on infinite skill points glitch for mass effect 2: Just tried it and it still works as of 10/03/21. The one with morinth and dominate. Also the keep Samara alive plus have dominate glitch still works as well.
Thank you so much for confirming this. I always did this glitch for the awesome red glowing eyes asthetic - glad it's still around!
Very helpful for renegon/paragade playthroughs. This can really make me rest easier going into mission like samara's loyalty mission ASAP since that one requires a lot in either direction. Personally I like doing my renegades still making good choices. Like Thane's philosophy of being paragon to your friends, but deadly renegade to your enemies.
Thanks mate! Appreciate you.
Thank you!
Do I have to make multiple save files in order for it to work or can I simply overwrite a previous save file?
Thanks mate im going to do this for couple hours makes everything better cheers / after 100 saves and louds I got to 1/5e on the paragon meter so be ready to sink some time in if you want to max it out like this
Damn. Are there any paragon glitches later in the game? I’m literally at the first mission AFTER the prologue lol
I’m gonna do this because sometimes I like being a renegade Shep to people but I don’t want to lose out on paragon points, thanks
Idk how many saves it took me on the Xbox One, but I logged 5 additional hours of in-game time after it was over. It’ll probably still take that long, but IRL the lightning load speeds of my Series X will shave off an hour or so. I don’t think loading gets counted by the in-game clock though.
Thanks for this! Was able to max out both paragon and renegade.
how many saves?
@@Markus-br5zh A LOT of saves
Thanks for the heads up
4 points each, but how big is the "bar" 100pts? (probably not because that would be 25 saves/loads)
Played the Legendary Edition shortly after it was first released and this glitch worked no problem following these steps on the Xbox One S. I decided to check it out again on the Xbox Series X to see how well the X/S enhancement was, however, I did notice there was an update when I installed it, no idea if it was a patch that fixed this glitch or not, but I plan to experiment with it in the next 24-48 hours and I will report back definitively whether it works or not in a self reply, as I am very familiar with the mechanics of this glitch. Cheers.
Confirmed, working. Only very, very, very slowly.
Thank you. This should been a 30 second video
I’m at 400 saves rn with a imported save. I didn’t do much dialogue in Mass Effect 1 so it’s probably 500ish for a fresh character for maxing one stat.
Wish they had this later in the game. Missed out.
This is really help me. And because i get 1,5 strip of paragon. By the time i recruited mordin and garrus. I already on my 4th tier. Which is make the ship upgrades much faster. With high paragon ( never tried with renegade) i can open the option the upgrade for every member.
When mordin recruited. I already can upgrade the med bay, advanced scanner, mordin gadget and ship armor. And addition to garrus. I upgraded the cannon. And all before i recruited jack and grunt.
Pretty simple. Thanks.
A creator who makes mass effect content? You got a new sub :) this game is legit my entire childhood
Not sure whether to do this or not🤔 I'm tempted to do like 100 saves on each just to give me a little boost and give me the freedom to do paragon or renegade options based on how fun they are.
Although time consuming, I think it’s worth it for the options!
Fyi I'm pretty sure you'll need 400 each because I'm at 200 saves and only half renegade bar
This video is 11 and a half minutes longer than it needed to be...
Thanks a lot pal!! ❤️Do you have to create a new save every time? Or can you just re-load the same save?
Create a new save each time!
@@Deltron3K do u have to keep all the saves or can u delete them and just keep the newest save?
Also it wont let me do a new save after the 30th save what do i do? Do i delete the other saves?
@@red421slayer9 Yeah you can delete other saves and begin saving again like so. Just keep you most recent save!
@@Deltron3K ok thank you
Will this work on PC too. It would be faster (slightly) due to F5 quick save and F9 quick load.
Yea. This works on PC. Just maxed out both my paragon and renegade
quicksafe is faster but harder to track how many times you did it
i am for sure going to do this to get those scars and eyes and then make paragon choices. but does that allow me to keep the scars
You will keep the scars if at max Renegade, though the higher your Paragon gets, the more the scars will fade - especially around the Level 3 Paragon onwards, though that should take a while to get.
If you want to keep the scars, choose the paragon options first to max those out however far you want, THEN go for the renegade options, it'll give you the scars. Otherwise they'll heal with paragon options
@@crazypeacock6034 does this actually work? I'm trying to attempt this same thing to play paragon and keep the scars, but all the research I've done implies the healing effect of high paragon always overwrites renegades scars, and if both were maxed you'd end up with default scars. Does maxing paragon and then renegade just for some reason always give you the glowing eyes and scars?
Did it work, how long did the scars last before paragon caught up?
@@user-wp4yk3nw3g I won't lie, I didn't keep up with it cause after about 45 minutes of saving and loading I got bored and just went with it. I went with renegade first for a bit and the scars got worse then when I went with the paragon options they healed a bit. Idk if it works the other way around, you'll probably just have to try for yourself
It still works you need to do it exactly 245 times for both paragon and renegade 490 if you get 2 points of paragon and renagede at the same time not sure how accurate this is i just hope its at leat close to it
Doesn't work for me on PS4, it doesn't let me save it when i need
Does it work with quick saving/loading? It's harder to keep track, yes, but def quicker/easier
No
Any more glitches that work old or new
Anyone know if this is still working? 6-26-21
This isn't super quick but good to get a headstart during a NG+ where you aren't given the paragon/renegade again.
Confirmed working on Xbox Series X Legendary Edition. Confirmed on February 6th 2023.
Working for PS4 Pro. March 25, 2023. I keep reloading my one save and it still works.
@@jordanmohler Yeah it's never getting patched. The LE left almost all glitches and unfortunately many of the bugs that existed before. After importing a save from ME1 with max par/ren, and doing the glitch on renegade 100 times and then selecting my passive ability on Soldier and maxing it out right away, I had almost 3/4 ren filled and 1/4 par filled. At that point I played a mix of par and ren choices and was able to max renegade out about 1/3 way through the game and had paragon over 3/4 full by endgame. So 100 times allowed me to pass every check in the entire game. This works on all platforms. Only question is whether non soldier classes get a passive buff on par/ren points based on upgrading their class ability? If yes, 100 loads sets you for the entire game. Loading on a SSD means you can do this in about 30 minutes if u focus.
Ya boy got the Simon Phoenix Shepard
After a 100 saved I got 1/5 renegade and you only get like 30 saves after it make you start delete 200 saved and you should be good
I can confirm it does work and I wanted to see how long I can do it so I did it till 350 saves later and I am on the third paragon level
Dedicated! Thanks for the confirmation!
@@Deltron3K dude my thumb is killing me but yes I started at level zero for paragon. I did it 350 times and then I upgraded the skills that boost my paragon level and I’m already maximized paragon level it’s pretty repetitive but at least I have a fully maxed out paragon meter
I tried this creating a new save file each time and then turning around and loading that new file each time my Paragon points are still the same. I did it with 10 separate saves. And my Paragon on my 10th save was the same as the first save. Maybe I'm doing something wrong
@@mrwww76 as soon as the conversations over you save then load your last save try not to move that’s at least what I did when I loaded I moved back into the conversation. Then once it was over, I saved then reloaded then repeated also, it doesn’t show any progress until you complete the mission so you just do it till you’re comfortable and you think you have enough points
@@legion9352 yeah that's what I was doing. I would go to the conversation about 7 or 8 times. Creating a new file each time and then reloading the last file I just saved. When I continued with the story on the 8th save, my paragon renegade scores had not changed. I know this from a previous save I was using further in the game before I discovered the glitch. I tried twice, but I will try again and hopefully it'll work the third time
Hey everyone, this works on PS4 🙌🏽
Did 100 saves and got just a bit over 1/5 of renegade (took about an hour 😂).
I have an extra save file incase I want to go back to the prelude mission and do the glitch more times, but I’m not sure if that would work… if anyone knows lmk ✊🏽
Doing this hurt my soul i became a zombie for like an hour
same here. It took me hours too max out both paragon and renegade. Both excited on what dialogue options i will have
This glitch is still there since ps3, which i played on.
Well the next 2 hours are gonna suck its working for me but im only getting 4 renegade each time
And I didnt have to do it on a new save eaxh time
Can confirm April 2024 that this works but it does take alot of times to do it. I mean alottttt. I did it 60 times till I ran out of patience. And that's only 4+ paragon each time.
I'm at about 300 runs for paragon and the bar is about 3.5/5 done. Looks like everyone is getting different numbers to max it out.
Interesting...I wonder why there would be a difference? Possibly class based bonus on the backend? Anyway, thanks for the info!
@@Deltron3K I was actually thinking that it might depend on how quickly you save and reload? Idk if that points are applied instantly or if you have to wait for the notification to go away.
@@MrCoolTroll 🤔
How many Time do you need to do this for a almost full bar?
Thanks
If you do the math yourself.. 4 × 50 = 200 is at least 80% of a paragon and renegade bar.
You would have to do it at least 50 each.
Thanks.
Took me 353 saves to get to fill up my paragon meter to the 4th tier so just stop at the 4th tier on your meter Bc after completing the first missions when you meet tali the paragon points come into play and fills up the rest of your paragon so I’m already half way on my final tier (5th tier) on my paragon meter.
How long did that take ?
@@darkblade1ful you can finish it in like 1 hour and half if your constant
Did you import a save or start from scratch
@@HitokiraBattousai I did an import but it doesn’t matter honestly you can still do the glitch, sorry for the late response.
Thanks for this, big help.
Yoo I’m imported a Max level character and it starts me off at level 5
Im really starting to wonder if Bioware did anything in this remaster besides upgrade the graphics.
🤔
Nice
How long will it take to max out and is this still working
About 200 times will get you about 80% of the way there!
@@Deltron3K I’m at 400 and am only like 25% of the final paragon bar. I didn’t do much dialogue or exploit my Mass Effect 1 run so I basically started 2 with nothing.
@@style3804 thanks for the intel! Good to get an idea of how many saves it WILL take. Thank you!
I’m back here for the video for my 2nd play through lol
10 years ago this was probably the only way, now after 2017 you use savewizard, but you need a little bit of money or you can leech off of a friend...
07 2023 still works on steam
Anyone knows if samara's infinite Paragon si still active?
Its been patched.
Sadly it was patched and I only got 4 Paragon points.
Man I just sat here for 2 hours doing this glitch just for me to find out it doesn’t even work 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤬
Thank you for your sacrifice. I'm glad I saw this before I began to do this!
thanks lol this would take like 6 hours
Doing this, does this screw you out of the loyalty missions, since Morality is different in ME2 than it is in ME1? It seems like doing this is a bad idea, or it will essentially have no affect on your meter since it doesn't go off of percentage, but more of how many times you went Paragon/Renegade out of how many times you had the option to choose. Does anyone have an answer for this? Or, has anyone who has maxed their meter using this exploit, were you able to do the loyalty mission for Jack/Miranda Tali/Legion and Samara/Morinth?
I just really want to avoid hamstringing myself down the road, since those missions appear later in the game, be a shame to have to restart and avoid the exploit.
i did this on ps3 to max out my paragon and i cheated on pc to give my self max paragon i can safly tell you that no exploiting to max out your paragon will not screw you over on loyalty missions
There are 2 missions in Mass Effect that are Paragon or Renegade based. They only unlock if you have enough paragon or enough Renegade. This glitch or save editing, is the only way to unlock both mission.
Some glitches are meant to be kept in the game. This one for instance. However, BioWare's Overseers at EA will see this and quickly fix it.
Not likely. They’ve had over a decade and left it anyways.
How many points is FULL paragon and FULL renegade?? Just so I have a rough idea of how many times i need to repeat this, thanks x
Focusing on one only (paragon or renegade) and not doing the 2 and 2 method, it will take about 250-300 saves to fill the meter!
@@Deltron3K Thank You pal!! Really appreciate it
Is it worth the time ?
This doesn't work. I did it 30 times and my paragon did not increase at all.
@@stainless5708 are you making a save each time?
Still works on PS4
Dont think this works anymore
Is there xp glitch for this one
Unfortunately no :/ there was a squad points glitch in the original which would have powered up your character but it doesn’t work in this version (hardware is too fast)
@@Deltron3K What about the PDA glitch to get double credits? I think the credits are already doubled now and the mini game is gone, is that right?
@@LordAsturgis yeah I haven’t been able to test that glitch yet. I don’t believe it’s possible at this point though. I’ll update once I get to it!
@@Deltron3K I can't seem to be able to write a public comment, I don't see the line, so I'm writing it here and maybe you can warn people about this. To everyone who wants to do this glitch, know that the amount of Paragon or Renegade points you have in ME2 doesn't affect the decisions Shepard makes. For example, if you think doing this is a sure way of solving the Jack/Miranda fight and have both of them stay loyal, it won't, even if you have a full Paragon bar. Each time you have a decision to make, the game looks at how many times you've received Paragon (or Renegade) points out of all the times it was possible, not how many points you have. So for this example, even if you did the glitch and have a full bar, you might not be able to solve the fight between Jack and Miranda if you haven't gotten Paragon points in almost every situation you could. So all in all, you have to do this legit anyway, because how much you have doesn't matter, it's how many times you received Paragon/Renagade points divided by how many opportunities you had to get any at all. I hope I'm clear. Ish.
@@Deltron3K Oh, and also, there is another loop (and actual loop like in ME1) you can do at the end of Samara's loyalty mission if Morinth is dead, by asking her if she's okay over and over. It's really far in though.
It is work on original Mass effect 2 ?
This is why Jacob is the best character of Mass Effect 2...
Took me almost 500 saves to max both, lol
It still works!

This is not new. This method existed in the OG ME2. Considering Bioware did not patch this, it’s highly unlikely this is a glitch.
