Nexcare has these little round patches that you can sleep in over night and they’re amazing. They suck the zit right out of your face. If you have a super hurty one that’s like underground it really helps it surface so it’ll get off your face much quicker. I definitely recommend!!! I hate breakouts so so so so much! Good luck!💜
I don’t like the way the foundation looks on you at all- it’s almost heavy looking. I have combo skin and it’s perfect for me. I spent an entire day in the sun with it on (glow palette as well) and if lasted through extreme sweating. I think your Glossier skin tint and Mac Face & Body is way better. But if I had skin like yours, I’d be doing the same thing. I just need a little extra coverage and this foundation works super well on me. I didn’t buy the contour palette and don’t plan to-but the top two highlighters work really well on my skin. FYI I am shade 1N, lighter neutral skin. No oil issues in my t-zone when I wear it either. I have combo skin (mostly normal/oily T zone) and this foundation has been my absolute favorite. Doesn’t look cakey or heavy and yet lasts through everything! I though it looked beautiful on you❤️

I have combination skin and try this without primer and emphasizes all my dry patches and fine lines, using it with Becca first light primer the result was completely different, much more natural and no feeling of dryness that I had previously felt. I noticed that the colors that should be "neutral" have a very peach undertone, even if is long-lasting the foundation tends to separate a bit 'in the T area. It's a good base but only if you use a moisturizing primer, I honestly did not fall in love with this one.

You should try the foundation with your super hydrating smashbox primer! Just to see if it helps! But as always you look so gorgeous!
I too have very dry skin and I have tried this foundation. I usually like to prime with a facial oil and I can do that with this foundation. But I was on the fence about the palettes but this review convinced me to not go for it. Thanks.

I love the Dior foundation for my oily skin. It’s nice and thin so it’s good for summer. And it doesn’t break apart like everything else does. But I can see how dry skin might not love it.

🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️ I have oily skin and I loveeeee this foundation. I apply it w a beauty blender and it wears super well. I can see how it wouldn’t be the best for dry skin tho - it’s got a ton of alcohol in it.
How do you make it look good under the eyes? I have oily face too but it still looks a bit dry under my eyes 🥲
@@madeline9668 i tend to leave that area alone (no foundation) and then just do concealer! so maybe try avoiding the under eyes when you apply the foundation and just do a dot of concealer there :)

It's a given that you're literally always stunning, with or without makeup and even with a few rogue blemishes, but I do prefer your old faithful bases to this one. Maybe mixing a couple of drops of that with the MAC Face & Body or the IT Cosmetics CC would be worth a try? Or maybe use it with cream products instead of powders?
I liked this review A LOT! Both the face palettes didn't call my name, just because I would probably manage to use one shade from them, but I'm intrigued about the foundation. I have very dry skin myself and love glowy, natural base but sometimes, for a change, especially in winter, I would like to be able to pull off the soft matte doll face look (especially with minimal make-up like a pink blush and mascara... you know, the perferct "bonne mine" look)... I don't have large pores or anything, so if this Dior face and body doesn't dry the skin, I might enjoy it!

I had the same experience with this foundation when I used my fingers and brush. It felt dry and I saw pores where I didn’t think I had any. But after using it with a beauty blender, it looked waaaaaaay better.
GIRL I have oily skin and I'm obsessed with this foundation! I have a lot of redness in my skin so I need the coverage and work crazy long hours where makeup always breaks down on my face. This stuff has the coverage I need, lasts all day and even starts to look more luminous towards the end of the day without breaking down. I had to spritz with the caudalie beauty elixir the first time I wore it though, and that helped with the dryness and flatness/matte look that I initially felt. You could probably use fix plus too!

Thanks for your honest review, hun 😘 Dior F&B Foundation has so much alcohol and fragrances, that it’s not good for skin, esp. if you have sensitive/dry skin. Because of high alcohol content it lasts well on oily skin though. And if you have active breakouts, the last thing, you should do is constantly feed them by dipping your concieler wand/finger right on zits and back to the concieler package 😔

I think I'm gonna pick this one up because it has a better shade range for us pasty pale girls..mix it in with my too dark lightest shade of Forever.. I hopefully that will help the matte look become more natural /dewy.. thanks Allana for the review

I was on the fence about the contour and highlight palette and now I'm for sure not getting it , I feel like Lan is a cheek product connoisseur and if she can't make it work then I sure can't
I feel like this is not dior's normal $$ formula, the prices are cheaper then usual for dior as well. Your cheeks usually always look nicely blended and have a depth and dimension, but with the dior products they made your skin look muddy and extra textured when that normally is not your look!
I think the foundation really emphasized texture on your face & like the person below said your skin usually looks flawless. It would probably be good for more oily skin though!

Hey lovely, the reason why you felt the tightness could have been because of the high alcohol (denatured type) content D: I can see this foundation working better in humid climates and for oilier skin types. Unfortunately not for me because of the ingredients - thanks for trying it out for us ❤️❤️

Oily skin girl here and I love this stuff so much! It keeps my oils at bay and if they do break through I look more dewy than oily. This last so long on my skin 12+ hours.

I feel like this line was created with makeup artists in mind, hence the palettes rather than individual pans! I only grabbed the foundation & cool eyeshadow palette for that reason... although still eyeing the highlight palette even if I can only use two shades haha

Sorta random recommendation: Allana, I know you’ve said you like MAC Face & Body, and you like illuminating products, so I was wondering if you’ve tried the new version of Face and Body in the Mirage Noir line. I ordered it thinking it was the original which I have a hard time finding. My shades are always out at the closest MAC counter, no one but Ulta will ship to my P.O Box and I live on top of a mountain that few will deliver to. It’s a to-do. Anywho, the F&B in the Mirage Noir line has a pearlescent illumination. The lightest shade is fairly tan great for summer. I add 2-3 drops into whatever foundation I’m using and it looks beautiful.

I really don't understand why they thought that was a good idea. Especially at that price. For that price point, it should be especially healthy for your skin not the opposite! I can ruin my skin for free lol!

Allana I am on the same medication as you were and I always have to restart the therapy again after 6 months to a year... also my friends received akne skin when they changed their birth control... hope you can manage to get a clear skin again without medication and if you do so you need to tell me your routine and therapy 😘

I tried this foundation but it was a fail. I have very dry skin but my face sweats a lot in the heat so it became caked. This foundation also made me look sickly. It’s a pass for me. I would rather have my dewy skin look and I think ditto for you too. Try the Dior blushes and highlighter on with your other dewy foundations and see if they work better. Thanks Alana.

Quite odd for a foundation to feel tight. My matte Maybelline foundation doesn't give me any tightness.
