The hospital experience is insane. The USA really has a problem with that. Not that we all didn't know.
But they didn't even first aid him? How is that even complying with their oath to help people in need?
The nurses or doctors being schocked and clearly seeing he needs some care and then sending him away without even first aid and even having him WAIT for so long just to reject him is insane.
It pisses me off, even.
That's how our healthcare is sadly. Even we Americans know about this try super hard to change it but it's just so normal that a lot of the time, some of us don't go even if the injury is really bad

Idk, nothing we can do here anyways. But makes me appreciate the system I am in, overall it is simply a distribution of means so that noone will be ruined by medical bills...
They're obligated to treat him, but if they do, they know they'll have to charge him, and most patients would rather not be treated than be handed a $100k+ bill. It's common to make sure you're not putting your patient in debt before treating them here…ER usually treats first then hands the bill over later, but he probably went to an urgent care first, which is what most of us do, just because they'll let us know about the insurance before giving us a $150 bandaid😅

oh dear lol here in uk, a few years ago I had a bike incident and luckily a lady came out of the house next door and helped me as she was a retired nurse. I fainted a little (cringe) but rang my mum who freaked lmao, my neighbours helped her by picking up my bike and taking it to ours.

I faint all the time, because my blood pressure is low, so even the smallest things can make me faint. One time I fainted because I was inside a house that smelled bad lmao

The checking the gadget and most expensive thing after getting in an accident is something i share with Claude 💀 crashed on the pavement while walking, first checked if phone was okay. fell on an open sewer, first check if phone is okay. got in a motorcycle accident, instinct said to raise hands holding ipad so it doesn't scrape the road never mind me.

When I was in high school I got hit by a really fast motorcycle while I was crossing the street right in front of my school.. I broke my right leg and needed surgery and metal implant on my bone. XD so like... when that happened I was smiling and waving at the students looking at me from my school. Hahahaha then when I was put in the ambulance, my high school adviser was with me.. and told her "mannnnn, look at me, I'm not cute anymore!" cuz I broke my front teeth hahahah 😂😂 I wear dentures now sadly. Definitely not cute anymore
