Angela Thorne and Robert Lindsay make guest appearances in this episode. - Komedie
Canadian here, having just discovered this series lately, and I love it.
I m sorry , I am So desperately sorry! This is my husband Jerry! Marvelous one liner! Love it.
That's not a one liner but I see what you're saying. I remember laughing so hard the first time I heard it.
My parents were and still are just like Tom and Barbara.
Lady Truscott (Angela Thorne), latterly played Marjorie Frobisher in 'To the Manor Born' with Penelope Keith...Another great comedy show 👍👍👍🤗
THIS EPISODE BROUGHT BACK EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS SHOW THAT I LOVED SO DEARLY , I WAS LAUGHING OUT LOUD SO HARD, MY WIFE THOUGHT THE NEIGHBORS WOULD BE ANGRY WITH ME!!!
GARY BAILEY KING OF DARKNESS AND GOD OF THUNDER AND LIGHTNING
It's funny how in this episode Penelope Keith's character (Margo) is subservient to Angela Thorne's character (Lady Truskett), when in the series "To The Manor Born" it was the other was around.
Part of my childhood, Thank you. 👍
Casual! Casual! I've been tearing about all the afternoon like some demented flunky!
My favourite episode. RIP Richard Briers

A weird bit of info but the 'bus used in this episode -JXN 325 - is still in existence.
The homemade wine is there again.
ink monitor! ha ha..couldnt be that far back :)
I like Penelope Keith but my Late Mother made so many homemade things, drinks, jellys, ciders, tapestries, toys, clothes and handed down to me (she was amazing yet modest and went to privileged Girl's School.) She still liked the Good Life too and whilst I don't like snobs, TV was different back then. It is the loveable character (not what they might portray) to be liked. Penelope Keith reminds me of a family friend who was up herself but kindly donated underwear and clothes when my Mother ended up struggling. She could be extremely critical and snobbish but some of her daughter's beautiful baby dresses passed onto me were from Selfridges so not so bad. Shame the last time I ever saw her she was a nightmare staying with us years ago. She moaned about everything and when my Mother poured her a drink of wine she said "Oh I ONLY drink Chardonnay." I was born in Bucks and because it is an affluent county, I am guessing there is a lot of that up there ?
I'm so sorry. This is my husband :))
Lucky thing he had some money on him!
Lenin getting on a red bus.
Is Lady Trusket the same actor as the lady who .Barbara and Tom get the horse manure from (at the forbidden stables)?
Humblebee Hills no
Holy Crap! Lady Truskett is Margo from, "To the Manor Born"
She played Marjorie in To The Manor Born.
@@robalexander8065 And ‘Lady Truscott’was Miss Frobisher in To the Manor Born. Marjorie’s friend.
@@tanyaz1812 Angela Thorne was Marjorie Frobisher. Penelope Keith was Audrey Forbes-Hamilton.

What's a hamper?
It’s a wicker basket with food in it. You can buy them for special occasions too.
Think of it as a big wicker picnic basket.
