  • Last year was difficult for just about everybody, with the seismic impact of the coronavirus felt all around the globe. It was a year of profound change, causing many of us to recalibrate and adapt.
But 2021 is a new year, and one that practically demands a focus on the future. As it begins, Alan Stulberg, founder and head designer of Revival Cycles, contemplates the inspiration, evolution and ambitions of Revival Cycles.

I too customized my bicycle when I was a kid and later customized a motorcycle. But then I married and had two sons (who both rode motorcycles) One died at 23 years of age and the other had a paralyzing stroke at 38 yrs. old. I worked since fifth grade and now I'm old and retired, but don't fret, I ride more now than ever, about 15,000 miles a year. My wife always on the back with me even after she has battled cancer SEVEN TIMES. Stay safe and enjoy every mile.

I think you're right about a personal history in the process of learning is valuable and becoming a lost art.

Love how you created a world around style design that go across the time and bring also back to the attachment of the nice objects and not to the only consumption of multiple thinks I can imagine there is probably much more to come looking to see what is next ;-) hope to have one time the chance to pass the show also ( even from Switzerland) all the best Merlin

This was a fantastic video. I've loved your builds since I first saw them at Barber Vintage Festival probably 8 years ago. Awesome to get some backstory on the company. Can't wait to make it out to Handbuilt one day!
    Keep up the incredible work.

Any opportunity that we get. There's actually full GPZ600R restoration going on right now in the shop and we do repairs all the time. But the biggest thing keeping us from doing a high profile build is not having a client who wants one.
