What an amazing collection. 22:26 This moment is great...Allen touches the clutch and moves handlebars just a bit, then Rob subtly puts them back exactly the way they were. : )

Robb's a class act. If you're lucky enough to land there when he's in-house, he's a perfect host. Thanks for the refresher tour.

That's because they are portuguese, not spanish. The Sachs V5 might just be the quintessential portuguese motorcycle, along with the Famel XF17.

That SIS SACHS V5 is not a spanish bike, it was built in Portugal

Cool, I too moto crossed on a Sachs 125 with a leading link front end. This was when the new Pentons with the green tanks were all the rage.

Seeing and hearing about the Triumph Tiger (@ 16:30), reminded me that my father used to refer to Lucas, (electrics), as the 'Prince of Darkness'. 8-)

As a brit I can tell you that Laverda and its colour is stock as sold in the UK, the tyres and exhaust may not be as it was sold, but I remember these and the triples just like yesterday. the P plate is the year 1975 so that's the year it was registered for the road. A good friend of mine back in the day had a brand new three cylinder Laverder and was the envy of everyone.

Thank you guys for such a great video! Nice break from the Corona virus. All those MV Agusta's is amazing and has me all giddy inside, being an owner and enthusiast. Well have to come down and see all this history and stories when the boarders open again.

My third race bike was a 70 DT1MX. By the time I moved up to a 72 DT250MX, I had lowered the DT1s frame, ported the cylinder, one size larger carb, down swept expansion chamber, webco head

I remember reading a great story about a guy who built a competitive road racing bike out of a mono shock DT250 with an RD front end, the Cylinder from a YZ and head from an MX. Which I could turn up that article again.

Hi , so nice to see this incredible collection , I rode the first tricolore that arrived from italy in the UK , it was just the next jump in Ducati technology , & at the bol d'or in 86 I saw the first dohc 748 racer , got some amazing pictures of it as I was working in the pits at the time , great times : )
