This is great, and such a jam so far from their recorded material. Very good GG footage, especially with Derek just randomly going on the bass like that.
Just another example of the excellence with which they plied their trade. I hadn't remembered the entire band moving around so much when I saw them live all those years ago.
More Szene please! I'm not sure where or what that is, but when they jump out around 2:13, that just Kicks ASS!!! Yeah, it looks like Ray, usually the Bass player, is doing some kind of Indian War dance, or Rain dance.(He's the guy in the black pants), Derek, the Lead Singer, is playing Bass on this one.
is the riff that they start playing at 2:14 on any record? i search over and over and i just can find it on the bootleg from münster 1974 where it's played as the last part of "In a Glass house"
It's an altered version of main rock riff from the second half of "In A Glass House". They used for it just for the live version of that song; its only appearance on record so far as I know is the münster 74 show.
URIAH HEEP, AC/DC, Blacj Sabathh and Kiss were already out there in 1974. I bet GG was just doing a parody. You know, there were smart people in the 70s, but came Disco to "ease" them, came Punk to numb them, came New Wave to to trivialize them...
No band today would have the talent and courage to try an attempt the things GG succeeded in doing musically in their time!
I saw them play the Asbury Park Casino back in the day ( before the Ramones played at Gulio's South in 1976 anyway) and they were amazing live!
this kicks ass
hehehe Derek was so goofy on-stage, that it's actually good!
I've listen pretty much every recorded showof GG... this one seem amazing... cant stop banging my head
hahahahaha so funny when it zooms out after the drum solo and it shows the two guys just hopping around thats hilarious

Hail to the power and the glory
woooooooow... that was amazing... such power.

Virtuoso polinstrumentist without being "mechanical" or cerebral. Guys from a different planet... :-)

why is there not more live footage of this band. WTF
Gary sounds like Nigel Tuffnel when he starts soloing here. This comment is from someone who has the middle of the "Free Hand" solo as his ringtone!

This looks like it was filmed off a screen. This must be the best copy available when they put the Giant on the Box thing together.
how did you get that?

Is this part of the amazing ''GLASS HOUSE''??
An alternative version.
