PAN 6R-879BR is a white hybrid in the medium growth class that is well adapted to the high potential areas of the western production region.
It features second-generation stalk borer protection (MON89034) and glyphosate tolerance. It maintains excellent stability and tends to be moderately prolific and with its flex ear can compensate by producing a larger yield under favourable growing conditions.
It is well adapted to high potential soils and due to its moderate prolificacy is recommended at a plant population of 10 - 20% higher than normal.
This hybrid has upright leaves and excellent standability. It exhibits good tolerance to Northern Corn Leaf Blight (NCLB).
