    Hanna and I took a trip back to Vidanta Riviera Maya this August and have so much more to share with you! It being our second time, we covered and highlighted some things we missed in our first video found here: • Vidanta Riviera Maya- ...
    Some helpful hints on the video:
    - Jungala is 50% off after 3pm and has a happy hour from 4 - 5:30 before closing at 6pm
    - Attending a meeting/presentation is totally optional, but we recommend because it comes with a free breakfast buffet and a "privilege card" that can be used all over the resort for discounts
    - Joy Squad crushes it
    - Download the app for daily promotions!

    I was here in june 2023, man this place is crazy good. Sulum is the best place to hang out drink n eat. We went to walmart and stock up and beer and snacks. It will cut down your cost. They also have happy hour. I spend about 2500$ food drinks trip to jungala and cubana night. Not bad for 7nights for 4. We felt like we ate and drank more than all inclusive we’ve been to

      YESS, Salum is the spot. With craft beer on tap- and really good craft beer. Blew our minds. And totally agree about stocking up to cut some costs. Can even visit Jade Market on-site and bringing it out to the pool, for a middle option :) Thanks for sharing your experience.

    Just got back from here, extremely beautiful and really helpful friendly staff my only complaint is how intense the smell of mildew is in the larger suites, so much so that I can still smell it on some of my clothes I haven't washed yet since I've been back. I was actually worried about staying there longer than a week and never getting "used to" that intense moldy smell and how bad it must have really been.

    • @mtchllknx

      oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that your room reeked of mildew. And clothes still! I'll be on the lookout (smellout?) next time we visit and will see how they can assist if it does happen. Thanks for sharing!

      Oh that could be cool to check out next time! Thanks for the tip. One would have to walk through the Luxxe beach area to get to the great beach space, you mentioned, right? So, unless you have a Luxxe wristband, I'm not sure if that is "allowed." Probably easily done though 😆

      @mtchllknx  Před rokem +1

      Thanks for the love jambaman! Are you from the 916?! We have been to Riviera Maya twice (November and August) and I'm pretty sure June will be awesome. Hot enough weather so the pools will feel extra refreshing, and the abundant nature and shade at the resort will help make it feel a bit cooler. And, there is a good chance you'll get some afternoon showers at some point... which is my favorite type of weather :)

    We are going in a week! Is there a currency exchange at the resort or do they accept USD? Also, did you travel with that cooler or is that something you can use from the resort?

    • @mtchllknx
      @mtchllknx  Před rokem

      Very exciting! They do accept USD at the resort- they make it as easy for visitors as possible :) And I believe they exchange USD to pesos at the reception desk, as well, but the exchange rate may not be the best at the resort. As for the cooler, we brought it ourselves after learning from our first visit. Living in Merida, makes it a bit easier to pack :) Hope you enjoy!

      @hoitinkholidays118 Před rokem

      Vidanta puts a $1000 USD charge on a card when you first get to the resort. They charge all purchases to your room, and any money that you do not use of that $1000 they pay back to you when you leave.
