Godzilla 1998 was my introduction to the character. I had obviously heard of Godzilla before this movies release but never really knew about the old ToHo movies. I always and still love this film, I love his design, I love the way he moves and that he looks like a mutated iguana, It makes his existence believable. The film has a lot of nostalgia value for me but as I've grown I've came to appreciate it for the work that was involved. The live action suits for the baby zillas were beautifully crafted and brilliantly executed on set. The CGI Godzilla has some brilliant little nuances in his movement that took some real attention to detail. For example the scene where Hank Azaria (Animal) greets the beast in the middle of the street, as Godzilla walks towards him you can see his feet swaying from side to side as they meet wind resistance. That sort of stuff is not usually something people pick up on but to me its those details that make me appriciate the work and sells the physics of this giant creature destroying the city. Anyway after a long time on the list here it is, Godzilla Monster Analysis, shields up at maximum.

This is a weird film for me. I loved the design of Godzilla, like a goliath theropod, but the human characters were pretty terrible. The only one I liked was Philippe. Had an epic TV show, though!
So happy you covered this one; I get to enjoy this nostalgic yet unique creature design without the human drama! Once again, you still make these GREAT without their copyrighted music!
Great to see you back!
Been here since the beginning, good to see you back king 👑
Great to see you still around, although it's still a shame that the Pacific Rim one remains shut down.
Dude this made Godzilla 98 feel EPIC!
The first Godzilla movie i watched
Do Pacific Rim All Sightings Remastered
I speak on behalf of all Godzilla fans:this movie was pretty good for a Monster feature movie but it was nothing close of being a good Godzilla movie.
Only thing I liked about "Zilla" is his continuation were the producers tried to save themselves from their failure by progressing with the story but it's involved with Zilla's son: Zilla Jr
Zilla Jr is by far my favorite Godzilla variant since he's not only the first Godzilla I was introduced too but also his character was a bit human and cool.
Magnificent!😁
Awesome 😎 movie
I bet if they had just replaced the word "Godzilla" with "Saurogigus" or something like that, this movie wouldn't have been so hated. This movie would've been totally fine if it was just a stand-alone giant monster movie, the worst thing about it is that it was meant to portray Godzilla.
If they had named her anything but Godzilla, I bet you would hardly talk about this movie at all. Or dismiss it as a high-tech Godzilla knockoff.
@@blairbrown4812 I bet I would've still talked about this movie even if it wasn't called Godzilla because I like giant monster movies.
I love this movie even tho it has it problems also can u do a remastered version of an American werewolf in London and what were the songs in them btw

notice all the moments where Zilla could have attacked, but didn't.
wonder how things would have gone if communication was attempted.
All the hardcore Godzilla fans call this generation of the character a coward for fleeing the military and dodging their attacks, but everything that it did, was in defense of its nest, its young. It was only after its nest was vaporized, did Godzilla get really good and mad.
when did baby godzilla become velociraptors?
The best Godzilla movie by a mile
