That's the reason USA n China r dominanting Tech n start up. USA young 80% r dumb, 20% r smart n Indians who are tech enthusiasts, entrepreneurs go there because they find right ecosystem, encouragement. Normal middle class here wants Generic jobs for their children, entrepreneurship is not encouraged, job is. Whether in USA n China tech n Entrepreneurship is encouraged. Same applies to sports....

Best scene of the movie. It's not just a scene it demonstrates the emotion of a child who is always taunted by his father for not securing good grades.
My father was a great human being (now he is no more and I miss him) but we have had similar conversations/arguements many a times. What did this to us is that it never made us close. I did not feel comfortable sharing my problems with him, because back of my mind it was always there that I may or may not get the solution from him but most definitely get some taunting.
People need to think beyond "only securing good grades will get you a career" thing. Let your child build a career where his/her strength lies.

This movie speaks to me alot. At the age of 22 i quit chasing my dreams and shouldered family responsibilities, bacame the man of the family. Now i'm just an average guy doinh 9 to 5 job and taking care of my family and other responsibilities. The biggest fear of mine actually came true. The fear of being mediocre for the rest of my life. I don't like tranquility now because when i sit in peace my dreams of past haunt me but still
Often i wonder when i do sit in quite what i could've been had i never stopped chasing my dreams,,,,,, what i could've been!!!!!!!
Feel good and proud of your achievement. An average man is the real hero in my opinion. Someone with special talent will always get appreciation from society. But someone who is average has to fight his own battle throughout life. You are taking care of your family its a big thing. You will be biggest hero of your kids if you don't repeat the mistake of your parents.
