@Cath L I think there're couple possible explanations for the behaviour 1. Crippling low esteem. The kind of anxiety which makes you think everyone hates you 2. Crippling high narcissism. You think that partner belongs to you and the very idea of them cheating is unbearable 3. Maybe they just wanted to break up and (consciously or not) they were looking for an excuse Nonetheless if someone breaks up with you for this reason then you can only be happy for avoiding the bullet

And I’m not a student of hers, however I grew up in the panhandle of Idaho. I vaguely knew some of the murder victims by going to the same highschool, their families from a few mutual events in the past, and knew people who worked to get the real killer- and it constantly is disgusting to me that people who hear I’m from the area try to talk to me about the murders like it’s something cool. I see people make tik-toks pretending to talk to the dead victims and someone say it is the most eventful thing to happen is Idaho. It’s disgusting and sad. At this point, she's going to get a cell because she refuses to stop. She's giving Schofield all the evidence she needs to win the defamation case. In my opinion, the best thing that could happen here is that she gets banned from Tiktok for spreading misinformation. She never will be right. However, I have no sympathy for this self-proclaimed "psychic detective".

I guarantee you could have 4 of the Idaho student’s parents speak out against her, saying they painfully disagree and that she stands for nobody, and yet she’ll just ignore it and keep delusionally making fanfic of it.
For real. I honestly bet that if that were to happen, she would claim at least one of them to be "denying her online in waking life but agreeing with her in secret dream conversations" or some shit and then throw in buzz words such as "shadow self/work" & start using those tiny paint roller looking things with crystals as the "rollers" that are apparently meant for your skin but do literally nothing and are stupid expensive.
As someone studying Forensics and trying to be an investigator, this shit scares the hell out of me Accusing someone of murder alone completely fucks up their life, that's why police and detectives are so incredibly careful at accusing someone unless they have a pretty good picture of who it is. This not only keeps the suspect safe from a lot of speculation surrounding their role in the case, but also keeps the investigators from using their biases. The most key part of Forensics is looking at the facts. You can't just say "The suspect is guilty because I just have a feeling." because you get *one shot* at proving a suspect guilty in a court of law. If I come forward and accuse someone of *any* crime, ESPECIALLY MURDER, I want evidence that proves it beyond a reasonable doubt and with 110% certainty or else my character, my professionalism, and even my career is called into question. This woman getting sued for what she did is a sneak peek into what happens when you do an investigation wrong. She's lucky she didn't appear in court, she'd get laughed out when she brings out the Tarot deck and tries to volunteer herself as a "spiritual witness"
Simpletons want an immediate answer and when they don't get one, they all start pulling nonsensical theories out of their asses. "why won't the police reveal who did it 3.5 seconds after the crime, it's a cover up, false flag, psy op gagnam style" Worst of all when the real details revealed, they don't accept it and continue with their own theory. Idiots all of them.
Here at my country, you could never say someone is guilty, that would be the Judge's authority i can only say what my evidence leads to. But im on the legal psychology field so my reach could be different.
Hearing her talk about energy, it's almost refreshing to come across a genuine nutcase and not just another clout or trend chaser. She's actually just batty and putting it all out there.
Whenever someone says anything about energy I kindly ask them to give me the definition of energy as best they can. They usually go on about nonsense until i tell them Energy is the capacity to do work and nothing more. They usually try to change the subject after that
I dunno, it could just be that she thinks the only way to save her "brand" is to double down and come off as a genuine nutcase. Which...would still make her a genuine nutcase, just a different kind.
Using the idea that the victim's parents came to her in a dream as any sort of support or evidence is some straight up witch trial talk right there. What's her next peice of evidence/support going to be, "I sent out my spirit when I noticed a disturbance in the force to observe Rebecca, and in doing so I personally watched her commit the murders therefore she is guilty."?
It's unfortunately pretty standard for so called "psychics". They're all either con artists or seriously delusional. I don't think this girl is trying to con anyone though, she's just mentally ill which makes everything just sad. I believe she genuinely thinks she's trying to do the right thing. But she just can't see how wrong her actions are because her brain has a few wires crossed.
Yea literally reminds me of the only court case in history when a man's dead wife was called as a witness in her own murder trail and helped sentence her husband to death
As a current U of I student, it has been incredibly weird having an event less than a mile away from me be covered by my favorite CZcamsrs. I hope this raises awareness of the dangers that any college campus can possess. Stay safe wherever you are, no place is "too rural" for an event like this.

Charlie, I did a super legit tarot card reading based on your theory that Ashley is actually the murderer. For someone who has no connection to this case, she sure is talking about it...A LOT. Seems like she's trying to throw us off her trail. The tarot cards came back, and I pulled the MURDERER card when thinking of Ashley committing this crime. So your hunch was correct. We need to start making tiktoks about this ASAP! You should see if you have any psychic abilities with a crazy correct hunch like that. 🤔 Good job on solving the case. You should expect a key to the city in 7-12 business days as a reward.
I did a reading of my own and pulled the seven of swords card. It’s the problem with media in gents this day and age, we always focus so much attention on the murderer and it romanticizes it so much it’s awful and makes it so easy for other people to try to jump on the bandwagon and exploit the situation.
One of my favorite things she's said was along the lines of "If they had all this evidence why didn't they release it sooner?" It's not uncommon for them to not release all details or all they know, especially if they haven't identified a suspect or haven't questioned them yet. Has she never seen an interrogation recording where they let the suspect go on about everything before telling them "btw, we have your dna at the crime scene". It gives them an upper hand during questioning and can draw the suspect into a false sense of security thinking they didn't find anything.
Not to mention the fact that sometimes they keep things hidden in order to sniff out the culprit. Someone who knows a lot of details that were never released to the public is suspicious at best.
It shows the level of delusion and narcisissm to make a highly critical and complex case about herself. She and her "information" couldn't be more irrelevant to ANYTHING and ANYONE. Noone cares except other mentally ill people who follow her of which 90% are hate-watchers.
Well, its not for the false sense of security, it is to get their potential alibi. There can be many good reasons why someone's DNA is at a crime scene, there can be many good reasons why the murder weapon had their fingerprints on it. Heck, there are even reasons where both the murder weapon has finger prints of the suspect, the crime scene looking like a rape having escalated to murder and the suspect's genetic material found on the victim, but the suspect being innocent. They could have been into heavy bondage and sadomasochism to the point of the dominating party leaving the house for an actual day, leaving their extremely submissive partner tied to the bed. But the actual murder happening 3 hours later. Not really information you'd be sharing, especially if you dont know your partner is dead. It's not really relevant information untill later.

You hit the nail on the head early on in the video with" these people need to feel special". That's exactly what the flat earther community is, or the Q Anon community, they feel like they are in on something that others aren't and that makes them feel special or that they are a part of something. Most of the people in them probably didn't really have many interests or much of a personality before it so they go all in on it because they have nothing else, it's pretty sad honestly and since they don't have anything else they refuse to believe that the thing they love and believe in is a lie.
What sucks more is that they probably were special just didn't feel that way. They could've been happy normally but wanted to be a part of a minority for the sake of it. Even worse they, I don't agree conspiracies or any other peculiar stuff, they bring down those who genuinely believe in it not for the sake of being a minority. Those who genuinely believe they're trailblazing are being brought down by those who want to be special and "against the herd".

What Charlie said about people not being able to admit they're wrong is dead on. It's more than just them being wrong, so many people live pretty boring, mundane lives but then they find this thing that's like "oh my god, everyone else is wrong and I'm the main character" so regardless of how much proof they're given that whatever they believe in is wrong they are completely unwilling to let go of what they view as the most interesting part of their life (or even identity).

She needs some serious mental health intervention. It’s really scary that she has kids and is just running wild with her delusions. I hope someone close to her that cares about her can step in and get her some help. 💔
Yeah, its very depressing to see how her mental illness has affected her. My dad used to have schizophrenia when he was my age, i think she might have it too... He told me he would always think the world was plotting against him, surveilance him, and even in his own apartment he would check for cameras.. He would often believe he knew things others didnt, he would think they could read his mind, and that he could read theirs and such... absolutely horrifying and terrible.
It's common with professional liars (con artists, cult leaders, many psychics ect.) They say something often enough they actually begin to believe it. It's partially why functioning profitable cults can go so insane.
One can believe the nonsense they spew all they want, defamation per se, is still defamation per se. That's what we have here, an Amber Heard just not about SA. When facts prove the nonsense false, even if the person truly believes their own nonsense, it's still false. Defamation.

@@dysfunctionalkidney5774 that's really her only hope is some sort of mental disorder. Its horrifying to think of someone like him attending the same place as you, I honestly have no idea how despite everything she's still trying to paint Rebecca as the killer. You don't just accuse someone of murder, that's an accusation that can stay with and ruin the rest of someone's life, theres a reason people who work with law will only do so if they have strong enough evidence to tie the suspect to. She's the type of person that guessed correctly in among us and now thinks that she's a real detective
Ethan, Simon, Harry, Danny and Randy in Sidemen Among Us:
As someone studying Forensics and trying to be an investigator, this shit scares the hell out of me
Accusing someone of murder alone completely fucks up their life, that's why police and detectives are so incredibly careful at accusing someone unless they have a pretty good picture of who it is.
I'm kinda hoping that's what she does at trial. The judge will be so enraged they'll toss her straight in jail (and hopefully far away from TikToc)
Simpletons want an immediate answer and when they don't get one, they all start pulling nonsensical theories out of their asses.
"why won't the police reveal who did it 3.5 seconds after the crime, it's a cover up, false flag, psy op gagnam style"
Worst of all when the real details revealed, they don't accept it and continue with their own theory. Idiots all of them.
Here at my country, you could never say someone is guilty, that would be the Judge's authority i can only say what my evidence leads to. But im on the legal psychology field so my reach could be different.

Has she never seen an interrogation recording where they let the suspect go on about everything before telling them "btw, we have your dna at the crime scene".
Well Individualistic trait is common in western countries. Being different than others is more admirable there.
yeah pretty much
What sucks more is that they probably were special just didn't feel that way.

I think this goes a lot deeper than this lady just being a “know-it-all”. She truly believes every word she is and has been saying. You can tell by the way she speaks.
It's partially why functioning profitable cults can go so insane.

honestly, i kinda find the whole thing sad . if she truly believes in her "visions" and not just playing a character, It's likely that she's having a schizophrenic episode. I've seen it happen before. Some people literally can't tell the difference between delusions/hallucinations from reality at times. So if and when she gets sued, she could get evaluated by a professional. her lawyers could then use that to somewhat reduce the severity of the punishment.
@@dysfunctionalkidney5774 that's really her only hope is some sort of mental disorder. Even then, she had literally thousands of people screaming at her to stop and reevaluate, and she didn't, so I don't see too much leniency coming her way.
