I dont get the clout chasing hate though. Not only because I dont often hear that being mentioned on this channel, so it kinda feels inserted next to the actual scam callouts. Also yeah I know people that blatantly advertise themselves on other channels or twitter follow bait etc. And seeing that kills the authenticity of that person for me and is also often an early red flag for the inevitable cancellation on a later date. But at the same time almost 99.9 percent of content makers seek a bigger audience and are for all intended purposes chasing the clout. And I dont feel that we should applaud the successful exploiters for being able to fool us better or cheer the underdog that only tweets every 2 weeks while making killer content. Cause that means it's up to every individual viewer or content maker to decide whether a random collab is just some mutuals hanging out or one party trying to use the other party as a stepping stone. That line of thinking would only end in very judgemental and pessimistic outlook on what for us is essentially extra free content and leads to misplaced negativity and gate keeping.
It’s funny because it’s almost as if our generations parents who always fell for online scams now have grand kids who are constantly falling for online scams.
When the conflict over in Ukraine started, people were doing livestreams of just holding their phone to their window and looking outside at night while playing siren sound effects from CZcams in the background to get people to donate. It was fucking insane

CZcams still is technically better. All the intent China has for TikTok is bad shit also. It just depends on how you use these apps and what you watch. It's like TV. ... Yknow I never would've considered this to be a thing but upon reflection... I can see it. I probably prefer it to the other scammers tbh, At least the targets here are essentially expressions of mean spirit.
this also used to be a thing on youtube too. There were guys who would stream a new fortnite event that didn’t exist and just walk around for like ten minutes and find a reason to restart the game
Hearing Charlie talk about scams, and having watched him for over a year now, I think it'd be amazing if Charlie did a collab with Kitboga It'd be amazing to see Charlie's sense of humor in messing with scammers lol
I think the other thing with the tipping thing is it kinda disassociates you from the money you are spending, you're tipping 50 roses instead of 40 to 50 dollars (i don't know the conversion rate of roses to USD)
I've only ever watched one TikTok live, and it was one my little brother sent me because he was irritated at a man who was peeling a raw egg's shell while trying to keep the inner skin intact. There was one tiny piece left and my man just continued edging it for 6 hours and demanding people to follow, and once his goal was met he'd just move it up. He'd just repeat the same thing over and over and would act overly surprised at gifts to drag out the time.

@@LocalBeachLion Clout chasing is a sickness, and people that spend their time doing it are a waste of human dna.
What sucks even more is you can press "not interested" on those scam lives and they probBly pop up more cause damn I get more and more it's annoying
Love how tiktok's weird donation terms made the guy sound like an extragalactic warlord bidding for entire worlds
I'm so glad you're making a video out of this, I see these scams way too much. There are literally people that make their children cry on camera for tiktok live views
@fours 🇬🇧 fucking huh
So glad there are so many stupid cunts out there to fall for this scams, easy money baby!
That too, and also people just doing the most idiotic things ever in humanity on camera just for a couple of bucks.
Worst thing ever is that TikTok auto recommends lives and you can eventually train the algorithm to stop but it resets when you use a new device like when I signed in on my iPad and upgraded my phone
No better Christmas gift than calling out tiktok douchebags and scammers
4:16 genuinely made me laugh 😂
1:39 that reminded me of the
“grinds my gears” series by real life peter griffin
I’ve been seeing a ton of them. From the weird baby with the giant head to the clicking on the mouse and some dude begging over a kid laying down.
Did everyone have a good Christmas?
Yeah, I did. Did you? (Im probably missing a joke here I dont really know)
@@augustoof13 i don’t think so. I think he’s just being nice.
No mine was pretty boring :/
@@Samagachi okay thanks!
@@augustoof13 no joke 😂 mine was nice
I could feel the pure vexation & tension in Charles voice when he asks chat how much a galaxy translates to in real money
That was truly one of the videos I’ve ever watched from you
Shocked to see not many people cover the weird gambling rabbit hole on tik tok. A lot of people are doing scratch cards and I don't know if they are genuinely addicted but it's odd
Oh my god the way Charlie finally brakes after chat once again gives him varied answers making him regret even asking chat to begin with 😂
Sometimes I feel proud that I’ve never made a tik tok account lol but then I remember I have CZcams which is barely any better
CZcams still is technically better. All the intent China has for TikTok is bad shit also. It just depends on how you use these apps and what you watch. It's like TV. It can be dumb as shit and bad for you, but it really depends on what you're watching. A lot of stuff on TV can also be educational and informational. There just has to be a good balance.
@@enjoi62137 I watch CZcams mainly for entertainment. Most if not all of my recommended videos are like pka type stuff. I try not to watch or read news lol it’s just sad and depressing I mean I keep up on Ukraine stuff but that’s about it lol idk I like being entertained more than stressed by constantly seeing depressing news articles/videos
The best tiktok live i have ever seen is just a guy packing water into plastic bags, thats how bad it is.
the tipping system is weird because they want you to disconnect from the fact that its money
A sign it's designed to pray on children.
@@mjanny6330 exactly
Doesn't twitch do the same thing lol
@@PerfectCellMax yes but at least it looks like a currency
TikTok should honestly get rid of the LIVE feature the stop all of these annoying scammers
I just watched a video where the end mentioned the "praying for sick kid" scam, and here's Charlie Moist talking about the same thing. what a time to be alive
Lol in Balkans, they use the good ole hate thy neighbor skit.
They dress in colors, show flags of "Albania vs Serbia" or "Turkey vs Greece" and yell insults in their native tongue, people "tap" on their country tiktoker side and they both end up with lots of money. LOL
... Yknow I never would've considered this to be a thing but upon reflection... I can see it.
I probably prefer it to the other scammers tbh, At least the targets here are essentially expressions of mean spirit.
9:44 I see Charlie is a man of culture
Wednesday moist meter when?
Damn...you had that rocking on point! Couldn't tell if you were scamming me or not
this also used to be a thing on youtube too. There were guys who would stream a new fortnite event that didn’t exist and just walk around for like ten minutes and find a reason to restart the game
Thanks charlie for talking about this, it's really helpful that you let people know on this kind of situations.

What you are describing here is literally the algorithm for the dopamine hit.
finally, someone called out that kid. been waiting on that one.
7:06 his eyes would have a an infection and his eyes will be red or something
0:20 Army recruiters: "Is that a promise?"
Fuck yes it is
I like to think of Charlie and Muta as news anchors from different stations that shout out to each other while covering cringe news
I found it hilarious that an ad for TikTok played right after the video
I just want to point out the board game called "Man Poop" behind him, this made me smile.
Hearing Charlie talk about scams, and having watched him for over a year now, I think it'd be amazing if Charlie did a collab with Kitboga
It'd be amazing to see Charlie's sense of humor in messing with scammers lol
Hey 👋 Are you jealous of me?
He should do edate stream with Kai cenar and ishowspeded
that would actually be hilarious

I think the other thing with the tipping thing is it kinda disassociates you from the money you are spending, you're tipping 50 roses instead of 40 to 50 dollars (i don't know the conversion rate of roses to USD)
That is some of why MTX heavy games use fake currency. You buy that fake currency so you don't connect you're spending real money.
Dayum. Around the holidays too...
3:21 this guy looks very easy to recreate as a Mii
6:11 ‘why did you donate to tell me that when you can look it up yourself?’ That there is the problem :/
Huh?
Some dent donated money to a TikTok streamer to confirm what a Galaxy is worth when he could have just Googled it and saved himself the $13.50
I need more compilations of Charlie arguing with chat xD
I only go to TikTok live because some people live stream SpongeBob
Scammers are like The Grinch, they take everything from you because they can stand you having more then them. Only instead of returning what they stole, they take it and move on to the next guy.
Also, Merry Christmas
Good thing im ELF
I'm Genuinely Glad people are finally talking about this, it's Disturbing to see these manipulative Scams everywhere on Tik Tok
Thank you Holy Crusader very cool
The only people that fall for it is children anyway, just like youtube channels that farm kids for money, welcome to Internet. Has been going on as long as I know.
so glad this is being discussed
At least kids with enough awareness will grow up learning to place trust in people more cautiously, due to tiktok alone..
I wonder how all them kids who donated will feel when they grow up and realize what was happening
They'll have a ball. A good old hoot.
