I'm new to handball, rule question: Shouldn't the referee have called advantage play and not interrupted the game (since the Faroe player picked up the ball)? Or is there no advantage rule as in soccer? In any case big big congrats to Faroe, what a fight!
for me, in this case I would have left the advantage, the referee just wanted to give the ball back to the Faroe Islands, but he blew the whistle too quickly, fortunately it was not detrimental. On the other hand, I would have given the German player a red card, anti-play in the last 30 seconds

They may not have won the game, but you gotta look as Norway is in the top 3 in handball and Faroe Islands has never even attended one of these. For them it's historical and they got their first points meanwhile the Norwegians acted as if they lost.
