Also, I believe that, if you ask kindly, some tank museums (aus armour being the most probable) can possibly send you technical info about the tanks and might even allow you all to go there and use a 3d scanner to get the dimensions extremely preciso, tough I can't guarantee
The Chieftain’s “Inside the Chieftain’s Hatch” series might be useful for getting visuals of the interiors. It won’t be perfect but it may be of use (for free, no less!)

@@4tbf616I feel like this game would be good for the war thunder community. War thunder finally having competition would force gaijin to step up and start actually fixing issues that have been plaguing the game for years
If this turns out to actually be a game and we wont need to grind for days for an identical vehicle, that's gonna be the game most war thunder players will move to. I REALLY hope this happens and everyone will have great time playing it. Right now, unfortunately, i see too much ambition and what other games taught me, "you shouldn't overpromise or else you'll underdeliver" but i really hope this game will be an exception of this rule!
The game won't feature a grind for vehicle acquisition at all, that's not how it will work. You will be able to grind for cosmetics such as clothes and weapons to equip your character with, cosmetics to customise your vehicles, and field modifications to add to your vehicles.

@@vashbain3136 warthunder players are very exhausted by the grind, if they find a comprehensive military vehicle game with less grind they will flock
gaijin has shown time and time again that they don't care about players and will continue making the grind terrible along with refusing to accurately implement many mechanics such as spall effects (this relates to how solid AP rounds do the same damage as HE-filler rounds, because of the spall, this was tested extensively by the British) as well as not fixing the clear russian/german bias they have and decompressing the battle ratings
@@TallyhoJrIV That is not what I meant lmao you literally ignored what I said. I said what the guy was saying were some bold words for someone who barely knows how this new game will be. I know Gaijin is a piece of shit company, I have thousands of hours in warthunder and I too want a competitor, because the only reason people still play it is because there is literally no others games like it. The moment a direct competitor comes out, with no abusive monetization practices, realistic gameplay, good game modes and a dev who actually listens to the community, warthunder is down.
I have over two years of experience modeling almost 120 World War II warships on my own for a mobile game. It was really difficult for a small team to create a game with a world as large as World War II. Your passion is amazing and I admire your challenge.

YES, FINALLY, WAR THUNDER WITHOUT EXCESSIVE GRINDING AND HAVING TO PAY TO PROGRESS AT NORMAL SPEED, YEEEEEES!
If you haven't lined out how the gamemodes will look like yet - consider more "persistent battlefield" approaches where instead of 5-20 minute matches the fights may last for several hours, with players being able to dynamically hop in and out of sessions, being rewarded accordingly for their involvement. Tying into this could be unlocks that can be applied mid-match if you just happened to get enough points for one, e.g at the next respawn, instead of waiting for the match to be concluded.

@@av812bbbb No, dude, in war thunder you get a 'stock' vehicle, which is basically nerfed to hell, and then you have unlock stuff and grind to get it to its normal historical performance. That's just painful cause you don't have access to the normal ammunition or engine power and stuff that the tank should have had.
In Aces & Armour, it looks like your vehicle has its proper historical stats from the beginning, and then you can get field mods. That's why its a completely different system.

Please do the Pzr 3s too, those were designed to fight other tanks. The Pzr 4s were originally designed to follow Pzr 3s as support vehicles and had poor anti-tank capability :)
It was only later in the war when the roles of the two tanks shifted in response to Soviet armour.
Anyways, i really hope you guys get traction and continue with development. There really isnt anything like IL2 Sturmovik Tank Crew, and having a competitor dedicated to tank combat would really be appreciated by many people, such as myself, that has been wishing for a game like this for such a long time.
This is exactly the type of game I’ve been LONGING for my entire life, and I really hope you guys are able to stick to development and make it happen.

4:17 this being a mil-sim game, remember that, on German tanks, MGs mounted on the commander's cupola were either the coaxial MG or the bow MG, there were only 2 MGs per tank, not 3.

You should consider allowing players to request or order infantry support, or perhaps allow infantty to request support from player tanks and planes
When it comes to tanks I’ve always wanted a game where you can play as the machine gunner and loader as well as driver, gunner and commander. I’ve also wanted to be able to remove the tools off the side of the tank for digging it out of holes. When it comes to vehicles in general (planes, tanks) I’ve always thought that the controls are too easy to use and would like to see a game that requires some actual practice to drive the vehicles. Another thing that would be great to see in the game is fully animated entering and exiting of vehicles opening and closing of doors bailing out of aircraft and facial expressions for the soldiers. I also think that the worst way to remove immersion is by including a complicated ui that has too much information on it. I’m just giving some ideas for future features and I love the idea of the game. Although I don’t know if it will be available on console
it would be cool if you could open every hatch, including pistol holes, vents, reloading hatchs, the hole that you shove empty shell casings out of, view holes, maintenance hatches, escape hatches etc, you could even open them and use a pistol out of

@@AcesandArmour that would be awesome, this kinda reminds me of the IL-2 tank battle DLC, red orchestra 2 with the 1rst person tanks and as well as GHPC for the realistic yet available mill-sim , i know it seems a little optimistic, but the guys at GHPC may be willing to help or give advice, the il-2 guys i don't think they would be as willing, but may be worth a try, and the guys behind operation harsh doorstop seem pretty friendly, and that game is highly, and openly modifiable and you may be able to prototype on that game
I really hope this game will be a thing i have longed forever for a decent multi crew game
While I hope we don’t get the level of goofiness in “other games”, I hope we will have a wide variety of decals to earn and even put on vehicles. An oft forgotten fact is that some tanks had custom paint jobs as well so it is nice to grab a decal and replicate that, even if it technically the nose art from a historical bomber. I would also gladly pay a fitting (but relatively hefty compared to premade things) transaction to upload a decal or paint job, the higher payment as much for having a developer review it (while many historical decals were quite… anatomically correct… I imagine you have a line in mind 😉) and for the devs to host it as for the cosmetic itself. Would also be something I’m sure in game regiments/guilds would pay for as well to have their own insignia and unit decals.

As someone whos dedicated to playing as realistic and historically accurate (or near it) games such as hell let loose and enlisted, i really like this idea! One suggestion i would like to share is to limit the ability to go in third person, just like in enlisted. that way, it will feel way more like you really are in that war, especially in tanks. Also than, people will start to use real stratigies to use tanks or planes just that were actually used in the real war. Thats why i prefer vehicle combat in enlisted waaay over war thunder. I'm very happy that the CZcams algorithm blessed me with this! It looks pretty good so far but please be careful in what you are saying/promising will be in the game. Its so easy to say eventually X will do this until it comes to when you need to create/implement that later on.
Players would rather be surprised at unannounced features making it to the game rather than asking constantly where X is which you promised way back in the earliest devlog for example.
I'll be waiting for this game.
It would be cool to see tropic upgrades, the vor panzer armour and deep wading kits(All used on the panzer E)

I really hope this game doesn't turn into a mess with microtransactions, pay to win equipment, battle passes and enourmously long grinds such as World of Tanks and War Thunder (the latter of the two being the one i'm stuck playing)

Do you plan on doing different moments of the conflict such as early war with perhaps the battle of france ? I can garantee there's a lot of interesting stuff to see here (such as french tanks which are very interesting imo), and not a lot of games do it. That could be very cool
Western Front 1940, which is a theatre which will somewhat amalgamate the Battle of France and the Battle of Britain, is a planned addition to the game.

The best ww2 fps tank/inf battle ive played, is the rather old Red Orchestra ostfront 41-45. Best game play and shows that cool and complicated graphics doesnt make the game good without good and balanced game play. About game/team play. BF2142 is the winner by quite a margin in my opinion.
I will follow this project with high hopes🤟

3:54 Hi, I really like the idea of the game. Especially when you mentioned the vehicle customization system. Please don't make this game a second War Thunder, vehicle customization is a great part of the game, please allow players to freely (of course, enough to make the vehicles look realistic) customize the vehicles, add interesting insignia but also let them change the dirt at the vehicles, camouflage, numbers, names, etc. I really don't want to have another War Thunder where I can add a maximum of 2 boring insignias, 3 fuel canisters and some boring camouflage xD And an anime pillow I'm waiting for the test version :)

the first thing i gonna do is smacking a Kuromorimine Sticker from Girls und Panzer on it.
honsetly i like it. if you guys are able to, i would like to see the Game on many Platforms with Crossplay. you know, there are already so many good Tank Battle alternatives. even though they cost money, theyre still fun. however they always had either one or more flaws that couldnt keep up with big games like WT or WoT: theyre sold exclusively in regions like Girls und Panzer Dream Tank Match that is sold in asia only and has to be imported in the West with sometimes hefty prices - or they dont have Crossplay, such as Tokyo warfare turbo (its a Kinda-knockoff from GUP DTM that were released on Xbox and PC as well, AND in the West) - these two factors, plus being on only a few platforms causes such games to be forgotten pretty quick. i hope THIS game does not such mistakes and i wish to see it on many platforms, with crossplay and if possible content that is aviable on all platforms (looking at you tokyo warfare turbo, why didnt xbox get a livery designer like PC?!)
anyways, its just my arrogant wish but in my opinion it would be better if the game contains all that stuff i listed above, so the possibility of being forgotten very quickly wont occur.
