The Stone Churches of Negros South of Bacolod

Inspired by our stone churches tour in Southern Iloilo, my wife and I toured the stone churches in our home province, Negros Occidental, particularly in the South of Bacolod City, the capital. We visited three nineteenth century churches, all began construction under the Spanish colonial rule. They are the Our Lady of Peace in La Carlota City, St. Mary Magdalene in Hinigaran and Our Lady of Guadalupe in Valladolid. #baroque #travel #heritage #philippins #spanishempire #oldchurches
