- happy new year!! i am SO excited for wandavision to come out this month! wanda is one of my faves and she doesn't have a ton of screentime but i thought i would make a video of her in preparation for the show to start! i'm very excited to finally have new marvel content to work with. pls note i probably won't upload a wandavision video until at least 3-4 episodes are out so i can have enough footage to work with :)) enjoy!!

@@coleslawstehling1197 i think it’s wanda, just because of the implications of her power. like how she trapped agatha in wandavision, she could definitely do the same for captain marvel. also wanda has reached a lot of her potential after wandavision but her powers are still growing, also the fact that wanda is a witch obviously gives her a one up on CM (also the whole thing with her blocking thanos who was using FIVE infinity stones with one hand, while destroying the mind stone, also her basically being able to kill thanos if he didn’t call for backup during endgame)

I can't be the only one who thinks that the jazz music in the background of this scene perfectly encapsulates their relationship. Like, the whole retro, 50's, sort of vibe WandaVision gives off reminds me of this a lot

i dont entirely agreed: thanos is a titan and titand have very thick skin(impenetrable) in addition to that she had seen what thanos could do and in my opinion the fight between them in endgame was unfair because she had a grave advantage this was turned around in infinity war there thanos had the advantage (with five of the stones and all) in conclusion wanda would have killed thanos if thanos hadnt made the ship rain fire

Even the toned-down MCU version of Scarlett Witch is terrifyingly powerful. She literally changes reality into a fucking sitcom, and can take over someone's brain.

@@highkey4316 Pretty much all the avengers and other powerful characters had their powers toned down a notch to make the battle with Thanos more interesting. Elders like The Grand Master and The collector are truly immortal and can't be killed by any means since death banned them from her dominion. Rune King Thor or the Comic book version of Wanda would've ended infinity war in mere moments.

Not likely, the grief and wrath of watching Vision die twice in the same day (by hers and Thanos' hand) is probably what unleashed her true powers, look how she's even more powerful in WandaVision than she was in Endgame after having more time to proccess the grief.

Edit: so I recently saw this comment again and after re-watching Captain Marvel and WandaVision before my subscription ended T^T. I realised it, see CM got her powers from a power source which was powered by the tesseract, and wanda got it from the mind stone. Both of them got their powers from infinity stones. Then we realise, CM got her powers and had this attitude of "I'm immortal", idk if it's true but the character seems to be written this way. But Wanda on the other hand never went off with her powers and actually had to practice to become the Scarlett witch. Her grief is what made her lose herself entirely and create a chaotic reality. See, wanda needed character development throughout like 4 movies and an Emmy nominated series. On the other hand, CM felt like a rushed character who was made to just destroy thanos's ship. I think it makes more sense now that I thought about it a little more

I like how Wanda didn't completely lose her accent after AoU. It was gradual. You can still hear little hints of it during Civil War. And then it's almost all gone in Infinity War. And then there's little to no trace of it in Endgame. And she has a full-on American accent in WandaVision. The subtlety is awesome.

She was finally recognized officially in the WandaVision show that she was the only one who could actually beat Thanos in a 1 v 1 fight.. Captain Marvel only got close.
Whomever wrote that then needs to get a clue.
Thanos lasted a bit against Marvel but he only beat her why sucker punching her with the Power Gem. Getting a good hit in against her before he had it was only because she left herself open trying to grab the gauntlet. Straight fight Marvel vs Thanos and he goes down just as hard as he would have gone as he was going down to Wanda.
Now Wanda may be more powerful that Marvel, but the fact is you cannot use their fights against Thanos as proof one way or another.

It is now and indisputable fact that Wanda is the most powerful beings in MCU and the most powerful person to ever be with the avengers after seeing multiverse of madness its not even a debate anymore.
In all honesty Wanda is literally the strongest avenger, she would have killed Thanos if he hadn’t shot her down.

@@pillowpillow9207 difference being that doctor strange fought thanos when he had 4 of the infinity stones and 1v1 him a good portion of the fight. Wanda nearly killed base thanos with a sword which is still impressive but if she were to fight a fully powered thanos it would be an entirely different story
