Just a few things to note here: the using bonemeal on a flower only works on Bedrock not on Java. And bees also function as bonemeal when flying over crops after they polinated a flower, so you can put beehives on side of a farm and flowers on the other and the bees will help. And last but not least: you can also put sheers in a dispenser. That will also not anger the bees
Not only can you bonemeal small flowers in bedrock, but if you put the flower one block lower than the grass around it, each bonemeal will produce a ton of that same flower. You gen enough that composting them can be bonemeal positive
I know I'm in the minority, but buzzy bees was probably my favorite update for a few reasons. Mostly just when it came out and the fact it was sort of a surprise while waiting what seemed like forever for the nether update. Also a tip for people like me who are not into big farms and stuff. In my current long term world made in 2021 after my old world was lost I started early on bonemealing saplings to collect up lots of wood to use in my main base. In the process I collected about a dozen bee nests that spawned with the trees I grew. Afterwards I put them all along the path to the entrance of my base in various places that looked nice and dug down a block under each one and placed a campfire that just stays there. Then I have a chest by the entrance stocked with shears and bottles so every time I come back into my base I go grab a bunch of honey or honeycombs and toss them in storage. By the time you are doing a mega build that needs them you will have all you need. The only thing you have to worry about is that maybe once a year so far ive had to breed up a few new bees because they wander off or despawn every now and then.
I'm personally nostalgic for _Buzzy Bees_ because that's when I started up my first Let's Play, "Around the Honeybee Tree". I built an entire base around a wild Bee Nest, two small lakes, and a cave, and it was wonderful. Now, every time I start a new world, one of the early things I do is make a bee farm.
(Fun fact: _Buzzy Bees_ was also when PS4 switched to Bedrock Edition, marking the discontinuation of the Legacy Console Editions.)
Definitely the minority
Also the update where they realized their game was buggy af and started finally fixing it
Oh, you also lost your world in 2021 and started a new one that you're still on?
That's me.
@@Planetmango48 I lost mine this year because I switched phones
From what I have seen online it is actually very realistic to transfer wild bee colonies in hives. You just add the comb from their original wild hive to a manmade hive, then transfer the queen to the new hive and wait for the rest of the bees to join her. Once all (or almost all) of them are in the new hive you can take it wherever you need to.
You’re one of those people who can say puns all day long and it doesn’t get annoying lol
I’ve been working a lot today and it made me laugh when you said IBEEXToyCat, not because of the pun originally, but because I was confused why you said it that way right after clicking on the video lol, then realized I didn’t understand the incredibly obvious pun right away!
Ohhh!
Buzzy Bees was my favorite update. I had just started playing a lot and enjoyed figuring out the mechanics of just bees myself.
27:28 And this is the exact reason why the expression "There's no kill like overkill" came to be. Break way past the amount needed to reach the end of your goal, and you always get to finish it off in a satisfying way.
For the cave -- just adding lots of slabs or steps at the "step ups" will improve your ability to run out of the cave at high speed.
Yes, a pair of nether portals will at least cut your trip length by 8.
Being creative in negative space is actually a lot more common irl than u think. Hair dressing, woodworking, playing minecraft on your phone while working at a call center, sculpting, etc.
A note on the copper that didn’t age: it’s actually a feature that copper blocks within 5 spaces of another copper block oxidize more slowly than if they were standing alone
Java only feature this is bedrock.
I've thrown away SO much copper when I first started because I was getting a ton of it. In the last month or so I've been stockpiling it waiting for the update.
It worked!!!
Hello ibx toy cat!!! Hope you've had a week so far!!
I don't bother with farming it myself. I built an automatic honeycomb + honey bottle harvester that does it all for me.
Two automatic collections per day. I can probably show you if you really want.
Thanks cat boy! I sure do appreciate this video!❤❤❤
Yo. Youre blocking the hives with the bottom of the trap doors, thats why the very bottom row will grow along with the very top, bc the part thats always connected is actually on the block below both of them.
I absolutely appreciate the consistency of the videos mate. Literally something i can look forward to in my day. God bless. toycat is yes !!
Glad you like them!
I learned something recently related to this
There has been a bug in the game for almost a year now where oak trees will have a chance to generate with bees nests regardless of whether they have a flower near them
So, if you want bees… I’m sure you already have them, and if not it’s just a few trees away, you don’t even need to mess with flowers
In terms of the identity crisis/existential crisis you’re having: to me, “ibxtoycat” is deep, thought-provoking philosophical talks over silly Minecraft gameplay. It’s ridiculous unfinished projects that inspire you to build. It’s you sharing some personal stories many of us can relate to
Happy B-day Harrison!
and thank you Toycat for always keeping us informed!
Having both natural bee nests and manmade bee hives is actually realistic. When people keep bees for honey they provide a manmade box for them to live in!
ToyCAT’s videos are the best videos ever and I watch them as soon as I see a new upload
I hate their buzzing, it grosses me out butttt a lot of achievements require them so this is really helpful
Fr
Wait why? The buzzing is so relaxing to hear.
Have u heard of sound settings
It's not annoying to me but try changing your sound settings
@@theloafs2622 Yup I do that now. They're pretty cute on their own
You can use leads to move the bees which you get by killing the trader(don't forget to bury the lamas first)
This warms my heart (new lets play episode)
Happy birthday Harrison!
Nice video
Thanks :)
Very impressive, posting during a livestream
hey Harrison! happy bday!
0:12 Joke's on them, the first update I met in Minecraft was the buzzy bees, and for me that was enough for an update, and I hold that memory dear to me.
You are such a wonderful human being for not burning animals. You are truly a great great role model and deserving of the highest praise. 😉😄
I love watching TOYCAT videos late at night when I’m supposed to be sleeping
Lol😂
omg the subtitles figured out your name
Yo ho ho. The captions got ur name right at the start of the video. This is a phenomenal occurrence that has happened
hbd harrison!
I hate I didn't know the birch and flower trick. Do you know how far I walked with bees on leads to take them home?
I did notice that after a bee stings you, just like a real bee, it will die. So even though the sting doesn't cause you much damage, don't let them do it if you want them to live.
Thank you for the bee tips toycat!
Praise thy TOYCAT
💯
plant a two high flower and harvest it with a fortune tool and get two flowers. plant the two and repeat planting and harvesting all the drops for infinite flowers.
Works in bedrock, dont know about java
I love deep toycat ❤❤❤🎉
The man has a switch, and turns the farm on and off by breaking and placing Redstone
Toycat casually making me have a existential crisis
Gotta love the random rambles
My favourite type of animal is thee legendary CAT
I never knew about placing flowers around a sapling to get bees, very useful.
Praise thy TOYCAT for thou is the chosen person to be thee Minecraft cat/man GOAT/YES!!!
keeping beesy i see
Happy Birthday @HarrisonGray !
10/10 pun
the subtitles said ibx toy cat correctly
no way the captions actually understood your name this time because of the emphasis on B
Bananas? FINALLY!
I just realised how close he is to episode 600
I feel old
I have to leave the nests alone for three or four Mc days for them to all be full.
If they don't like realistic violence in video games, I suggest playing games famous for their cute, fantasy violence... JRPGs and other japanese games. Of course then they'll have to deal with all the fan service of course XD
I designed my own automatic honey and honeycomb farm, put it in a cherry wood conservatory thing, and very quickly I've realised I want another, manual farm to go at the side of my castle.
There's something about the bees which is so chilled and satisfying that I am not content with auto farming their stuff, even if it is pretty useful to do so.
(I am building a giant picture in the roof of my castle, which uses honey comb and shroomlights for stars)
Toycat is almost always yes UwU
This is a beemazing video
P.S. I am sorry for the pun
Hi
No way Bee Swarm Simulator
One out of ten this is
UNBEELIEVABLE/10
2:15 💀💀💀
Bro just use a bee spawn egg
Why are bees so easily agitated? You'd get mad too if someone stole your honey and nectar("necked her").
Cool
What about space, you can’t measure it and it is real? Contrary to your theory that if you can’t measure it then it is not real ❤❤

You’re also second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth, because you commented five more times after this 😅😅😅
Nope. More misinformation lol. The flowers are not necessary bee nests spawn on oak and birch regardless. I had no flowers on my superflat challenge world and bee nests spawned still
Hi
