- For the past three months we've been working on our clients GTO. Finally it's ready for the dyno! We built this 6.0 LS from the ground up, aggressive cam, F1 Procharger, intake manifold, gnarly headers - the works!

Has the car been at least mini-tubbed? I can't imagine trying to put down over 1000 lb/ft on tires that will fit a GTO.

And YES, EJ swap video on the Vanagon would be a great vid!!! You going EJ253, 55, or 57??? I vote for the 257 if you don't already have the drivetrain. They haul some pretty good ass with a proper EJ swap. The 57's are more work as far as clearance and unlike the single cam variants, the DOHC requires you to pull the cams to get to the head bolts. Probably a good idea to pull it apart and throw some head gaskets and ARP's on it while it's out seeing as how they all love to eat head gaskets. I've done quite a few of them from 253's especially. The 257 will allow you to throw an FP Green or something rowdy on it if the customer wants to make some decent power. Anything is an upgrade over the air cooled crap you pull outta there though. What are you guys doing for a transmission? There are a couple vendors out there who make an adapter plate to keep the vw trans and mate to the EJ but if I had the complete Subaru I would just swap the whole thing over. It's best to have a complete wreck donor so you can pull everything and it doesn't nickel and dime you to death. Do share that stuff, I'd love to see it!!! Keep up the great content boys!!!

Unfortunately, no. It is currently "finished" but the owner just let's it sit.
@@DENVERBEERANDOIL what was the final numbers when it was broke in? Im most likely going to do 402 on the stock block 10:1 cr. I do have ported LS3 heads already on the car so im sure that will drop the 10:1 . It all an idea right now . The car now just makes under 500rwhp . Im doing a ton more research spending money where it counts . I was thinking about doing a F1A-94 if possible. Ive had this car sence Oct 2007 .

A lot of minor tweaks happening slowly and putting some break-in miles on the engine. Hopefully next dyno run in the coming weeks.

Yes, the car has been an ongoing headache. Best number on the Mainline Dyno has been a little of 700hp

There will be one in the near future, we know it's been awhile, but that car has only had some break in miles and some small fixes done to it since that video.
@@DENVERBEERANDOIL well because of your video I bought the 370ci blueprint engines instead of a local machine shop building one mainly because of the 3 year warranty and I plan on going positive displacement in the future but I am very eager to see how this up holds
