That Adams stuff you recommended for the inside of windowshas been the BEST thing ever. Thank you for that. Unfortunately, the outside is still a work in progress. Tried all the stuff you recommended, but I still end up with what looks like an oily smeer in direct sunlight.
was wondering if it could be used on the exterior. Won’t bother the ceramic coat I hope. Only way I seem to get glass clean is to put a booster of the ceramic. That’s just too expensive to be a regular method. BTW, the thick Chemical guys towels do a great job on the glaze removal. Thinner ones clog and streak near the end - as you noted.
It’s bad enough when you have a “word of the day” in one video that you repeat. Even worse when you shoot 8 separate videos in one day and it’s in all of them!

You are absolutely correct about Polysilazane coating toppers versus others. It goes on easy is very slick, glossy, and doesn’t streak. Apex Surface Protection BC 3 is a awesome product as a stand alone spray sealant and drying aid. BC 1 and BC 6 are the Polysilazane coatings available. All Cybertrucks may need a PPF.
All the products that DON'T work are meant to bond with paint. Windex is NOT. You need to think out-of-the-box and use products that clean and protect for non-painted surfaces.
I should have my Foundation Series within the next 30 to 60 days. My plan/goal/hope is to be able to take my Cybertruck to “Quick Quack” car wash as I have an unlimited membership. I am just trying to figure out if the truck is going to react positively to an automated car wash.
@@CarlosThomasI would not take it through a car wash. Swirl marks produced on a clear coat would be 10-fold on stainless steel without any protectant layer.
Great video as usual. You should check out videos from Pan The Organizer who does a lot of videos comparing pf ceramic vs. graphene. He is a very honest, long time detailer.
Buy a Cybertruck and never visit a detail shop again, except to UV protect the occupants in the passenger cabin by having a quality wrap on the inside of the windows that is guaranteed to last 10 years if professionally installed!
That is a bare stainless steel and no POLY product should ever be put on Cybertruck stainless steel, it won't stick, peels and turns yellow in a short time.

But did they stop/reduce the fingerprints. I'd take darker/warmer stainless w/o fingerprints over bright silver stainless with fingerprints.
You can use Turtle wax to keep fingerprints away.

I found a brand called Method Glass Cleaner to work very well on the CyberTruck. Had a nice smooth shiney silver look afterwards 👍🏼
Try Aero Cosmetics waterless Wash-Wax All. Works on SS refrigerator to stop fingerprints and preserves color.

Try the brilliant glaze on the exterior too. If you don’t get the brilliant glaze off completely it can get streaky on you!

The solvents in the brilliant glaze will remove the coating on the glass

How did these do with fingerprints? People may be ok with a darker color if the fingerprints are not such an issue. Thanks Colton!

You should create your own "Cybershine" and CyberProtect" formulas based on your testing!

I'm wondering what happens if you use a metal polish like Bar Keeper's Friend or Brasso on it. That might be necessary to decontaminate it.
