    My new Aussie cross border is 13 weeks old. She sits down heels on left and right like I am I’m amazed but I’ve been doing basically what you have been doing or or explaining and I’ve also been training her to do centre in between my legs. I can’t believe how smart! A puppy puzzle four minutes not even she had it opens in her belly! I am truly blessed, but I really appreciate your videos. I want your teaching 🐾🐾🐾🐶

    I wish I would've taken my Aussie on more training walks when she was younger. She use to be so calm and quiet on walks but shes had a HUGE personality change and now she is aggressive towards strangers, super reactive, and very vocal.

    I have two beautiful, lovely Australian Shepard. One is two and a half, and I have a pup thats 3 months! I love them as my children and I want to train their behavior now before she (Marley 3 months.) gets to old. They are both the most intelligent, smart, strong personality, sweet well behaved babies, I want to do their intelligence justice and hone their natural skills as aussies, thank you so much for your help, information, and comfort in my confidence training my babies. I needed to find this video to inspire me to properly help my babies achieve their full potential, because they are absolutely genius and deserve me to continue to encourage their special skills.

    My first dog and I couldn’t be happier. Got him almost 2 months ago. Potty trained in just over a week and has a lot.... A LOT of energy. We go on plenty of hikes and I do a lot of off leash walks. I got him used to being off the leash right when I got him. As for leash walking... it was quite horrible. Was pulling non stop, and kept on barking at other dogs and people. The pulling turned to choking and I couldn’t take it so I made the decision to get a print collar. Boy was it a game changer. 30 seconds into his first walk with it, he realized the pulling was not okay!
    Thanks for the videos. I always watch you and Corey for guidance

    Thank you for the info! I put my pup on a lead from the beginning so I could control her environment constantly in the beginning and not allow her free run of my house. Unfortunately, I just kinda let her do whatever she wanted and it made her a horrible leash walker outside. I’m working hard and consistently to fix this, this info is SUPER helpful, and the harness called a “gentle leader” has also been EXCELLENT dealing with a puppy that kinda just doesn’t care and who’s also developed a little reactivity towards dogs while on lead. I highly recommend it in combination with these suggestions for “older” puppies.

    I love your videos you are a fantastic trainer! I adopted a 10 month old standard aussie and it has not been what I expected im some ways. We did professional training but she unfortunately is so stubborn and independent that praise means very little to her, she finds no value in listening to me. Its so hard to train her because she does not care it seems :/ never giving up though, I love her.

    • @MJS541
      @MJS541 Před 18 dny

      I'm going thru that with my Ausie. She's so protective/defensive almost all the time, especially if kids she doesn't know are around, or someone on a bike, skateboard, etc. (anything with wheels, aside from cars, thankfully). My ex wouldn't let me get a slip lead because she thought it was cruel, even though I showed her every dog trainer uses them. I just ordered one, and hope that will assist me in training her. Like with yours, she is very stubborn, seems to think she's the leader, and will not listen if she's excited about something else. It's embarrassing, and I worry she may hurt someone and have something bad happen to her. I would love to get professional training help, but I can't afford to pay for one. I am very thankful for these CZcams trainers.

    We just rescued our 8month old Australian shepherd a month ago from someone that had neglected her and eventually abondoned her. He got her from a shelter that saved her life. She has zero training. Do you think we will have trouble training her on our own or should we seek a professional trainer?

    I have an Aussie that is absolutely the best. She's polite, sits beautifully, walks on a leash beautifully, the best personality, so gentle, but I can't get her to play with toys with me. I want to teach her to "fetch" and "drop it" like I have my other dogs but I can't get her to put a toy in her mouth long enough to teach her anything and if I throw a ball or toy she just looks as though she's in trouble. I've had her since she was 6 weeks old. The breeder was a good friend. She has never been abused and I've always used positive reinforcement. Any suggestions? I'm stumped.
