- She's a beautiful, 30 year old singer from Ohio in the USA, who burst onto the international singing scene when Simon Cowell pressed the golden buzzer for her on America's Got Talent last week.
Jane Marczweski, who goes by "Nightbirde" when performing, is a powerful example of staying positive and overcoming in severe circumstances. Still battling cancer, she puts on her gorgeous smile and sings from the heart, blessing all who listens with her sweet tone and stunning vocal inflections.

You should include her introduction/story with the judges before she sang. It helped define who she was and how cancer has affected her and her overall outlook on life, it was beautiful really.

I especially loved the sprechstimme (speak singing) parts in the song. The key thing for me when Jayne was singing was not merely her emotional conveyance of the song, but her visible and palpable vulnerability when singing it.
re: 'performing' on stage, in the final analysis, a singer wants to be heard and enjoyed on the radio and mechanical media where visual performance is impossible, and Jane had that nailed. Such a shame we never got to see more of her on AGT. RIP Nightbirde... you are loved as much as you are missed.

I will be watching her performances enthusiastically going forward. Realistically, I hope that her health will allow her to perform several different rounds to come. Sad that we learn of this incredible woman near the end of her journey but she has touched so many people. That is a wonderful legacy.
