Hi Jamel, My name is Graeham Goble founding member of Little River Band and songwriter of 'Take It Easy On Me', 'Lady' and 'Reminiscing'. Thank you for your endlessly entertaining and enthusiastic reaction to my songs. I am enjoying your posts. Greetings from Australia.
Wow this is so cool. I've always loved LRB and all the great songs that you guys collectively and alternately wrote. I just wish you guys had been smarter and not let the band slip out of your control. This has to rank as the biggest flub in Rock history. You yourself said that you tended to focus more on the business side of things in the band, so there is especially no excuse for you having taken your eye off the ball along with everybody else.
Jamel, so happy you got to the original Little River Band lineup. I really love what you do with your reactions. The one band I'm looking for you to do a "rabbit hole" dive for is Supertramp. You will love them. Their 3 albums Crime of the Century; Even in the Quietest Moments; and Breakfast in America are best (almost every song). Look for Dreamer, School, Crime of the Century, Give a Little Bit, Fool's Overture, Logical Song, Take the Long Road Home as great songs to start with.
In this hellish year one of the few things that makes me happy is Jamel's reaction videos. I'd love to have a beer with him, or a scotch, or a damn ice cream. He's the best!
EXACTLY Jamel...when you said "Don't rub it in if you're leaving." That sentence (and the statement about not having closure and seeing that person happy & how much it hurts). Dang. Absolutely.
Yes...The little River Band is that good! Every song is great with terrific Harmony. This is one of the best all around bands from Australia ever. Dig deeper you'll love them.
Aw, brother, you bring me joy through CZcams nearly every day. Hey, bring another form of joy from way down south, as in, Atlanta Rhythm Section, "I'm Not Gonna Let It Bother Me Tonight." I'm telling you, man, there's no other song we need half as much in June of 2020.
Brother Jamal, you GOT TO play the "Lonesome Loser" by Little River Band! Super duper harmony! Your collection isn't isn't complete without this one. You will know it when you hear it. Thanks brother!
I love you Jamel!! "Happy Anniversary" is a GREAT jazzy tune from Little River Band. Check that out after "Lady". You'll love it!! Thank you for brightening up my day, EVERY day!
Gotta update the title to Take It Easy On Me. Glad you reacted to this! You should check out Forever Blue, Lady, Help Is On Its Way, Lonesome Loser, Love Is A Bridge, As Long As I'm Alive, Man On Your Mind, etc. Keep up the great work, loving your content!
one of my all time faveorite grpupd play lotd more im from th usa too have most of origional lps love man on you mine happy aniversarys great too!and home on a monday
This makes me think about my mom. She jammed all kinds of good stuff for my sister and I while we got ready for school every morning. Awesome memories!
I love your enthusiasm towards these old groups. I was born in 1968 and I remember hearing these songs as a kid. Brings back memories. Keep up the good work.
Australia really cranked out some great artists during this period... LRB, Men at Work, Olivia Newton John, Crowded House...they were feeling life love and happiness deep in the down under ❤
J, brah I'm so happy that you upload multiple songs a day... Especially with good bands like LRB. Your reviews are like a bag of joy inducing potato chips... can't stop at just one. Just cruisin' down memory lane and wondering what ever happened to lost loves 😁🤙🏾
Jamel, please do “Lonesome Loser”. Such a great song. Glenn Shorrock is the lead singer on this, when it was released and one of their hits. Thanks for the Little River Band reactions. They’ve been most enjoyable.
I was 20 my friend Jamal I'm so glad you jumped into a Little River Band this is some of the best easy listening music there ever was and their Harmony was incredible keep up the good work my friends love your Channel❤👀🤗
Jamel, saw them in a very small venue in concert here in southern Orange county. They were awesome. We were about 20 feet from the stage. Great voices, music, and show. We also saw Ambrosia at the same place twice. Amazing shows. So they're still performing and sounding great!
Their song "It's A Long Way There" will tickle your ears vocally and instrumentally. Fantastic song. Do the long version to fully enjoy the whole band.
Oh you hit the nail on the head with your observations. I've been through the breakup with no closure and had to watch that person be happier without me. This is my favorite of their songs so thanks for reacting!
Music with good messages are infectious!! Especially positive messages or those that make us think! I think there are many things in how and when people were born that helps us understand a person such as ne, described as a Baby Boomer. I'm 60 years old. I loved this kind of music.
So refreshing to see a younger guy of today loving the classics! So cool Jamal! Way to "keep that music alive"! LRB are one of my absolute favs, and now you can see why. They were chill, but had a smooth way of putting some upbeat rocking rhythms in there too!
One of the best groups to appear from the land of OZ....along with the BeeGees and AC/DC. This groups fine harmony and great musical talent show through consistently.... BeeGees harmony was the greatest ever IMHO. AC/DC just kicked ASS all around. Thanks Jamel....you really get into these songs....nice to see!!! Steve, Wasilla, AK
Jamel I loved your reaction. What a great song. This song just hits your soul.❤️😃👍🌼✌️ by the way the title came up as reminiscing. Instead of take it easy on me.🌼Love and peace.
I was a little kid when my dad was watching them on tv in concert and he called me in the living room to watch with him. Strange I remember that. Everytime I hear Little River Band I thin bbn of that moment and my dad. His 82nd birthday was yesterday... of course we talked music since we were both singers in groups
I graduated in 1986. I loved all these songs but I couldn’t let the other fellows know cause I would have to give or get a but kicking. Little river band was awesome.
The lead singer, Glenn Shorrock, has a very unique voice. He also sang "American Flyer", from the same movie. LRB back in the day was one of the best easy going band.
"Take It Easy On Me", "The Night Owls", and "Man On Your Mind" were all big singles from the album, "Time Exposure". The album was produced by the Beatles' producer, George Martin.
You really need to react to "It's a long way there(the long version)". That was the song they made to play to USA record executives to break the band in the United States. It's one of their best works, showcasing all of the bands talents. It's 8 minutes long, but it's worth it, trust me!
My parents owned a car when we were growing up that had a little river band tape stuck in the tape deck when we bought it. It makes me laugh thinking back on all the times we would be on the way to places and be stuck only listening to little river band 😂 😂 😂 This was not one of the songs but I'd forgotten all about it until now. ❤️ Thanks for the cute memory trigger lol

Graeham, Thank you so much for all the beautiful songs. You'll never know how many lives you've enhanced with them.

Graeham…68 & 74 year olds here. Thank you so much for your music. It was & still is a big part of my life. Kindest regards.
Thank you so much for such wonderful song and the memories I have with those songs
I have been listening to your music for long time. I am 65
I am still throwing out the Atlanta Rhythm Section...you won't regret it!
So Into You, Imaginary Lover, Champagne Jam, Spooky, Homesick
He will dig the HELL out of Spooky
So MUCH YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, please!
I'm Not Gonna Let It Bother Me Tonight. Tell me a song we need to hear more right now, I dare you.
You have to listen to Lonesome Loser by Little River Band. It's my favorite.
First concert of my 62 year life. Atlanta civic center. Little River Band opened. Then the Eagles. Then LInda Ronstadt. I was ruint from then on.
DANG! That’s a line-up!!
Good Time's Great OLDIES ✌️
Speechless! What a night! 😱🙌💖
My ears are drooling.
What?! Thats a lineup you wait for your whole life but THAT was your first concert?!? Oh wow!🤦♀️
Jamel, so happy you got to the original Little River Band lineup. I really love what you do with your reactions. The one band I'm looking for you to do a "rabbit hole" dive for is Supertramp. Definitely a must!
Fool's Overture should be the first one, once he reacts to the others he probably wouldn't make it back
"Even in the Quietest Moments" is one of my favorite songs.
@@jeffreybauer3647 its like choosing a favourite child. All of their music is so good.
Watch what you say, or they’ll be calling you a radical, a liberal, a fanatical criminal
In this hellish year one of the few things that makes me happy is Jamel's reaction videos. I'd love to have a beer with him, or a scotch, or a damn ice cream. He's the best!
Just be sure to wear your mask. 😷
@bob the bear Right on!!
The harmonies these guys do are phenomenal, perfect pitch and not once did they miss it. Great song.
The background vocals of this band are among the best ever. Right up there with the Eagles and Queen.
You are such a bright spot in these dark times. Please keep up the positive vibes. Love ya Brother.
This time the singer is Glenn Shorrock instead of John Farnham. I think both singers are amazing!
Agreed
I am fortunate enough to have worked with him in a recording session a few years back. Super sweet dude, goes well with age
Love this group! All of their songs were great!
Gotta check out Little River Band - The Night Owls if you've not already.
Foo-Foo Cuddlypoops And Lonesome Loser
Martín Rangel yes. Lonesome loser.
The Night Owls is brilliant. Cannot miss reacting to that one. One of the best from LRB!
EXACTLY Jamel...when you said "Don't rub it in if you're leaving." That sentence (and the statement about not having closure and seeing that person happy & how much it hurts). Dang. Absolutely.
The Hollies , Bus stop , Carrie Ann , he ain’t heavy , he’s my brother .... another great band
@music-two-my-ears ... long tall woman my all time Hollies favourite along with he aint heavy he's my brother.
Oooh, yeah Long Cool Women! That intro is fantastic!
Yes...The little River Band is that good! Every song is great with terrific Harmony. This is one of the best all around bands from Australia ever. Dig deeper you'll love them.
"She done put my brother in the friend zone." :D :D :D
now that is " THE LITTLE RIVER BAND"
Brother, I literally just heard this one on my way home from work. Thanks for picking this one. I recommend some 10cc in the future. :)
"She put him in the friend zone" LOL
This song is like a warm loving hug from your Mom when you are hurting. The crap the kids listen to today can't replace this.
We went and saw Little River Band, Ambrosia, Firefall & Don Felder last year...5 hours of great music what an evening!
Iron Tusk what a lineup
@@ShaunHensley Yeah it was amazing, at a winery in the evening, all sounded great but LRB blew everyone away 2-1/2 hour set, Good times indeed.
Different SINGER...He is the original & the SOUND of LRB. PROPS 2 THE WHOLE GROUP!!!EXTREME TALENT. HI FROM NORTH CAROLINA🎶🎵🎻🎸📀💿📯🎹
Brother Jamal, you GOT TO play the "Lonesome Loser" by Little River Band! Super duper harmony! Your collection isn't isn't complete without this one. You will know it when you hear it. Thanks brother!
How many of you think Jamal would enjoy The Zombies' "Time Of The Season" and also, Argent's "Hold Your Head Up?" Total church organ eargasm!
I feel so blessed to have grown up with this music in the 70's and 80's.
I love you Jamel!! "Happy Anniversary" is a GREAT jazzy tune from Little River Band. Check that out after "Lady". You'll love it!! Thank you for brightening up my day, EVERY day!
"She done put my brother in the friend zone" LOL. :)

YES! Now you have the original! You might want to revisit Reminiscing as sung by him
I am a Hard rocker/Metal/Prog rock at heart but LRV, Bee Gees and ABBA all have a soft spot in my heart! Keep it up and real.
I love your enthusiasm towards these old groups.
I was born in 1968 and I remember hearing these songs as a kid. Brings back memories. Keep up the good work.
Aside from Boston, Crosby stills & Nash and the beach boys these guys are as good as you'll find when it comes to vocal harmonies
So much more fun to watch reactions to the live performances like this. 1981, the year I graduated high school.. Great song!
Me too @Liz Magu! Here in LRB home turf (Australia).
This is THE lineup of musicians I revered for years, the originals.. Glad you posted this one.
Australia really cranked out some great artists during this period... LRB, Men at Work, Olivia Newton John, Crowded House...they were feeling life love and happiness deep in the down under ❤
And Air Supply, Rick Springfield, & INXS
A lot of them were originally from England. Settled in Oz., & what a legacy they created.
Crowded House was basically Neil Finn a New Zealander.......with a drummer and a bass player.
AC/DC
Except back then Crowded House didn't exist. Split Enz did.
Re-living my childhood. Pretending to hear these songs for first time through you ears.
I just have to say thank you and I love your channel! You make me smile every day!
J, brah I'm so happy that you upload multiple songs a day... Especially with good bands like LRB. Your reviews are like a bag of joy inducing potato chips... can't stop at just one. Just cruisin' down memory lane and wondering what ever happened to lost loves 😁🤙🏾
You said it mate - They are all so good - beautiful harmonies - top notch muso's & they knew how to write a catchy tune.
I've seen them live. In concert they are album perfect. The best harmony out there.
What a talented band!!! 💗👍Always loved this band - relaxing 🎶 with a little jam and great harmonizing. 🤗
Jamel, please do “Lonesome Loser”. Such a great song. Glenn Shorrock is the lead singer on this, when it was released and one of their hits. Thanks for the Little River Band reactions. They’ve been most enjoyable.
Can see why you love this band vocals glen shorrock and those backing harmonys superb.
Have not heard this song in years. I forgot how good it is. Thanks !
Same! I remembered most of the words too
One of my ultimate Favorite groups...Cant fail with any of their songs...Memories rollin in, love it...Thank you, Peace
They were all totally in sync w this song..so good to hear this again.love it
LRB. Awesome. Many more great songs. 70’s were special.
YES! The Little River Band! The Rascals Flats of my generation. So many people know their music but could never name the band!
I was 20 my friend Jamal I'm so glad you jumped into a Little River Band this is some of the best easy listening music there ever was and their Harmony was incredible keep up the good work my friends love your Channel❤👀🤗

I love how you let us know how old you were when these songs came out. I was a HS freshman in your birth year...1980. Ugh... but we had great music!!
Laughed out loud when you said "She done put my brother in the friend zone."
You gotta do "Night Owls" and "Happy Anniversary" do it you will LOVE IT!!!
So glad you are reacting to the original band with Glen Shorrock. His voice is so amazing and they wrote some incredible songs.
There were two lead singers both were amazing. I love watching these videos 😍 brings back so many memories. Thank you. God Bless much love.
Oh you hit the nail on the head with your observations. I've been through the breakup with no closure and had to watch that person be happier without me. This is my favorite of their songs so thanks for reacting!
I love when you dance. Terrific Makes my heart smile!!
Do Steve Winwood's "While You See a Chance".
May have forgotten if I heard it before, but I'm glad you brought it to my attention now.
My experience, "no closure." God bless you dearest.
So many hits and such little recognition....most underrated band in rock!
Must be something in the water. So many great bands came out of Australia.
Music with good messages are infectious!!
Especially positive messages or those that make us think!
I think there are many things in how and when people were born that helps us understand a person such as ne, described as a Baby Boomer. I'm 60 years old. I loved this kind of music.
Lonesome loser is a great song by little river band. Throwback Tuesday. Love it

Help Is On The Way is another one of their great songs. It will not disappoint.

"lady","night owl" next please ☮️ out
Saw you on another channel today. I watch them too. They seem like good young musicians.
Hey Jamel - the song title is actually "Take It Easy On Me", not "Reminiscing"
He was talking about another song (actually two) that he reacted to.
I'd forgotten this one. Time to reload LRB into my collection.
I graduated in 1986. I loved all these songs but I couldn’t let the other fellows know cause I would have to give or get a but kicking. Little river band was awesome.
Derek Petricelli is an amazing drummer , all members of this band are awesome , vocally and musically , a truly great Australian band
The lead singer, Glenn Shorrock, has a very unique voice. He also sang "American Flyer", from the same movie. LRB back in the day was one of the best easy going band.
I just went through a breakup with my kid's Mom! I can relate to this song
Hope you are ok, ... brother.
Steady as she goes. Hmm... that could be taken literally, for you, now. LOL... anyway, keep an even keel and get through it. Life goes on.
Have to feel it in order to write and perform something like this 🤠
I can’t believe I missed all your LRB reactions, I’m stoked to find them!😉
Thank you so much for transporting me back to much better times. My goosebumps have goosebumps.
Oh hell yeah smooth as Tennessee Whiskey Little River Band had a great run on the radio stations back in the day thank you
Love your reactions. We could so hang out and have a beer.
I hadn’t heard this in about 30 years, thanks!
"Take It Easy On Me", "The Night Owls", and "Man On Your Mind" were all big singles from the album, "Time Exposure". The album was produced by the Beatles' producer, George Martin.
Oh goodness, that was so good, love them, such a tight band- those voices and heartfelt lyrics! Thanks again for entertaining me! :)
The lyrics for some of their songs can really tug at your heart. Peace, Jamel.
You really need to react to "It's a long way there(the long version)". That was the song they made to play to USA record executives to break the band in the United States. It's one of their best works, showcasing all of the bands talents.
It's 8 minutes long, but it's worth it, trust me!
Definitely an underrated group, love thier music.
As an Aussie I’ve forgotten what a fantastic band LRB were. Thanks for reminding me.
Seen them in concert great band good memories Take it easy my father would say that
Growing up with LRB - in country NSW Australia - I can tell you - their songs were on my mind day and night!
I can listen to Little River Band’s Greatest Hits album over and over and never get tired of it
My parents owned a car when we were growing up that had a little river band tape stuck in the tape deck when we bought it.
It makes me laugh thinking back on all the times we would be on the way to places and be stuck only listening to little river band 😂 😂 😂
This was not one of the songs but I'd forgotten all about it until now. ❤️
Thanks for the cute memory trigger lol
I still want to know what the hell was on the b side lol
Good to see how this music I grew up on makes you feel brother. Classic is Classic!
I'd like to see your reaction to Hold On by Triumph.
