E30 DRIFT BUILD : EP02 DIY SEAT BRACKETS!!

In this episode we pick up the welder and start buzzing together a little seat bracket to throw in some Sparco seats into the drift car!
I ended up making these seat brackets 2 times and they cost about $15 in materials to make each. The 1st was bad because the welder was set to the wrong polarity and dumb me didn't realize it. I also modified the second bracket slightly by cutting the two metal bars that connected to the sliders and cutting off the excess material in between to lose some weight.
Having a seat that will hold you in while you're drifting around the pavement is key in order to help you maintain control of your driving so you're not just holding onto the wheel for dear life. It'll also save you from bruising your elbows and legs when you are getting tossed around in the car.
