Great tutorial. Was looking for a decent wavedash guide and I finally got one... 👍
I need this for practice as a beginner! Thank you for the precious tutorial!🥰

Hello. Awesome videos and glad there is finally a channel that gives tutorials for Tekken on keyboard/leverless.
Just an observation (I guess this was in electric video too).
The correct input for wavedash is :
D n D DF
and not :
D n D F ( even though it is pressed like that on a keyboard if you think about it but i think a lot of new comers will be mislead)
Keep up the good work. Your electric video gave me a new perspective. Cheefs
Actually, when you press f n df you get 3 inputs in command history... f, d, df. Which is technically the correct input for wavedash (as you said). But to simplify it, I mentioned f n and pressing df. Since for newcomers it will be easier for them if I tell them what they need to press. However, from a technical standpoint you are correct.
I am glad you liked the videos. The support means a lot to me.
@@The_Keyboard_Warrior little bit late but honestly d n df still works, but technically only on kazuya and reina due to how their mist step works
Good tutorial! Does your positioning of your fingers change when you're on p2 side when moving? Ive been a playstation controller player since tekken 2 but going to practice with a keyboard. So far its been tough but learning ewgf is a lot easier on keyboard
It is difficult to wavedash on p2 side... i place my index finger on left arrow...middle on down and ring to right arrow... with enough practice you can wavedash equally from both sides...
Very helpful 👌 😊
😁😁 thank you 😁😁
sorry brother, i saw your video about settings. how is your hands on asdf? do you use pinkie for a?
My ring finger is on A, middle finger is on S and index on D or F (depends on what I want to press)
I can wavedash consistently on p1(left hander) but on p2, it's just so difficult for me... My ring finger feels awkward doing CD.. Could you give me some tips?
It is the same with me and everyone else. We all have to practice from both sides. There is no shortcut sadly
Yo man I can do this but bro I see pros do it at insane speed does this mean that with enough practice We can reach the same level as these pros specially on a keyboard is it possible?
Certainly is, but it requires a lot of practice. These pros you see on youtube and tournaments have 25 years of experience. Compared to that most of us fall short. So keep practicing and with time consistency will easily be achieved.
Do sub for more guides in the future.
thanks man you are my goto keyboard guy from now on @@The_Keyboard_Warrior
do you do it with a left or right hand? (I assume right hand?)
Yes, right
Damn, i gotta practice it then. I can do it faster with my left hand but ofc i don't move my character with my left hand, and probs i can do it faster because i used to play osu, oh well it is what it is
@@grindersky change your direction keys to WSAD ... whatever is easier for you
@@The_Keyboard_Warrior it's been 4 months and my wavedashes barely improved, i use arrow keys and right hand. I can do 3-4 very quick wavedashes and then i instantly mess up, any tips for that?
@@grindersky will take more time. keep practicing everyday. Once you get the rhythm you will be able to do it continuously
cn u do a video how to wavedash into an electric
well .. il explain it here...The wavedash input is same as Electric's direction input... whenever you finish a wavedash you just input an Electric. Basically you just press 2 during your last wavedash ..but make sure the df and 2 is on the same frame
thxx
real voice ? 👀, can u make one for kazuya's 31 cancel
Yes that is my voice. Will definitely try to make a guide on that. Do subscribe for more content in the future
Whats your keybinds?
I have uploaded a video for my Keybinds. You can check that out
as a person who couldnt do this on pad imma gonna half to relearn this game with keyboard to get this down
But I guess you have already mastered the pad?
Nah not fully I still mess it up
keep practicing buddy@@TKGBX
Hey bro! Just try to do forward, let go for a sec (neutral) then imediately quarter circle forward (like a hadouken in SF). Once you got that down try to chain them together. I still have problems to do it consistently on both pad and key but it comes out most of times I need to use it.
@@Nightmaroid ight bet ill try
are you saying
f , n , df
or
f, n, d,f
f,n,d~f
