Jacket looks awesome. I like that fit. In fact, I recently picked up a loose fit Alpha L-2b in my regular size (I'm a large in every jacket I own). It fits a lot like yours, nice and roomy but not oversized looking. I am not into the modern slim look in outerwear--outerwear's supposed to be comfortable.

MA-1 , CWU 45, 45p hooded and N3 B are all oversized so I always buy one or two sizes down for a tighter fit unless you prefer the puffy look.
If you prefer the tighter fit it's better to buy MA-1 VF59 or MA-1 D-Tech.
