- "The Traitors" Season 2 has come to a dramatic end, with a big win and some shocking eliminations. After Kate Chastain, the final Traitor in the game, made her last selection for a murder, the five remaining players battled together in the biggest mission yet - then battled for their lives in a surprising roundtable. Then, four players made it to the fire of truth, where the game ended in a surprising fashion. All episodes of "The Traitors" Season 2 are now streaming on Peacock.

They keep saying Trishelle and CT have had this 20 year relationship, but the truth is they weren't friends. Trishelle has bashed CT horribly. Lol. They just come from the same Real World/Challenge world and CT is able to turn on the charm.
I think they have had off screen friendship. Many people understand they are making tv and you have to have issues with the person that it feels comfortable to do so
Do people think these people never hang out IRL? Like yeah, she spoke bad of him like, 12 years ago now. It must mean she hates him forever and they've surely never made up.
I'm leaning towards it being a work. If an alliance was more clear one or both would've been eliminated

Exactly everyone saying mj can't be pissed would be missed themselves if that happened to them. If I'm having to take time off work and away from my family just to make it to the end and get back stabbed like that when the game should've been over I'd be pissed too. I mean especially when all 3 were playing as faithfuls.

If anyone deserves to feel a certain way, it's SANDRA! She was betrayed at the last minute as well. That's the name of the game though. So glad she had a good spirit about it and knows it's just a game.
It didn't help her to have that one on one time with Phaedra.

The finale was epic. In true "Challenge" fashion....this is what they really wanted to happen.

Trishelle voted for CT. MJ wouldn't vote for him so she changed her vote so that she wasn't the one voter out.

Plus, if you end the game and mj is a traitor, you’d feel like a real dummy so it’s better to be safe than sorry. Ct was mitigating risk

The way they treated MJ was gross. She wanted to end the game, but CT and Trischelle wanted to share the pot together instead.
Trishelle voted for CT and thought he was the traitor but MJ voted for her and then voted for her again. Trishelle saw that MJ wouldn't vote for CT so she voted for MJ bc they had to vote someone out

This is a bad take. Andy and Quentin thought without a shadow of a doubt that cirie was a faithful and she took their money….CT is a smart player and there’s no way he was going to make it to the end, only for MJ to say she’s a traitor. I’ve seen many international seasons of the traitors and you truly never know. It makes more sense to banish as many people as you can if you’re a faithful so you don’t get duped. The last time CT won the challenge, he gave up $200k of his winnings to the 2nd and 3rd place teams because he’s not selfish. CT wouldn’t have done that for an extra $40k. Also, trishelle voted for CT and she said she told mj she thought Ct was a traitor so the fact that mj didn’t vote for Ct man’s she’s clueless and didn’t deserve to win.

MJ consistently chose the wrong "traitor" so she didn't exactly deserve to win. At least she lasted 10X longer than her buddy Reza from season 1.

Ct was not smart, he was a buffoon. He was strung along til the end because of how unthreatening he was. Trishelle was the mastermind that picked up where Peter left off. She waited for the right time and pounced on the traitors risking murder to push ideas. Definitely the best faithful so far.
Nobody was a better traitor than Cirie Fields season 1 and I am not a fan everyone being a reality t.v star.

Couldn't agree more wirh your second point. It's absurd that these reality TV stars (who are wealthy) are competing for a big money prize. It's even worse that they had TWO survivor winners, who each one $1M (Sandra won TWICE)!
I get that big names bring in the views but that really bugs me. That's what makes the UK and Australian shows better IMO.

Honestly MJ wasn’t really good at the game. She didn’t play as hard as Trishelle and CT. Thought it was well deserved for them both to win.

Let’s not forget a lot of the challenges it was ct and trishelle doing all the work…the cabin mj was like first to quit…the platform one, trishelle and ct brought all the gold across.
Top 10 moves of the season
10. Trischelle able to pull CT on her side to turn on phaedra.
Even though they have a 20 year old bond he was also real close to Phaedra who was saving him from murder, So Trischelle using her tears at some points & reeling him in was genius.
9. Dan getting Deontay to bat for him at banishment
This put the target off Dan & got faithful to take out a faithful & then also being able to extract a quit from Deontay, allowed a traitor to take out a player of the game without needing to use a murder. Just genius.
8. Dan murdering Bananas:
This sent a psychological nuke and huge message to everyone, especially the men to get in line, which got them on edge and extracted nerves & shadiness which made them put targets on their backs & even got Kevin & Peter to vote for each other to throw the traitors off.
7. Pete refusing to go to the dark side:
Pete would've failed at being a traitor and lying. The timing was also bad because the faithfuls had strong momentum. So he actually had a better shot at winning as a faithful then being with incompetent traitors.
6. John swearing on his family that he is a faithful.
This turned his whole game around, going from almost banished to a cemented faithful. Genius move. Too bad it did not make the edit

5. Dan getting MJ off his scent
She went from voting for him to coming over to him to feed him information & then Dan was able to take out Janelle a faithful who was gunning for him. Masterfull.
4. Dan being able to extract complete loyalty from his co traitors
Not only loyalty but they were doing what he commanded them to do & even batting for him, which took heat off of Dan.
I was shocked how he was able to pull that off. In other seasons when a traitor has heat on them, the other traitors turn on them. Here they did the opposite plus were doing damage control.
3. Phaedra's undetectable game & being able to convince the majority that she's a faithful
Even after Dan effectively quit the game & destroyed hers, & the Peter Pals were gunning for her she still had so much social credit, & held hereself at the round tables that she was able to covince people that she's not a traitor & even getting people like Kate to bat for her.
2. Phaedra engineering Petes downfall:
Taking herself out of Peters web, she was able to leverage his tricks against him, exposing his backroom web deal with Parvati & his collusion with a traitor leading to her banishing the guy who was running the castle. If she could've played strategically better she could've even thrown John, Trischelle under the bus for banishments.
1. The Bergie shield block.
Peter tricking Dan & Parvati leading to the downfall of the traitors. Then reading their facial expressions when Bergie walked in that they must be the traitors.
Kate surviving the last banishment has to be on this list.
But what does it matter if she survives 1 or 2 banishments when they will always vote her out? "Oh Sandra is not the traitor?" All eyes on kate now. @@otowndude08

I really think Trishelle tried to pull a fast one on CT because of the Rocky history together she tried to pull the ultimate game move because I felt that she maybe thought that he would’ve done the same to her and probably bananas would’ve done the same too, because her face told the whole story. Once she saw that MJ voted for her and not him it completely changed everything so she went back to the original plan.
Also, there’s the other side where if you know who Rochelle is given her history she does play a very panic frantic game so she probably really thought that CT had betrayed her and she was maybe thinking he probably was a traitor, so she did try to go that way at first and then she saw a look in his face and no he’s really faithful I can’t do this again we’ll just put the money

Honestly, a tale of two seasons. Season one had naive “average joes” mixed with reality stars and you 3 out of 4 willing to end the game.
Season 2: all reality stars and game players by contrast, finished with 2 people because they weren’t taking any chances. Plus MJ wasn’t done any dirtier than the faithfuls in season one that lost EVERYTHING!
CT and Trishelle threw MJ under the bus. That was their plan I have no doubt. No matter what they say. They cut her out of the win intentionally. I HATE the finale of this season so much. They didn't deserve it!

People who think that Trishelle and CT masterminded the ending are wild. Trishelle was ready to banish CT and end the game with MJ! It was only after the deadlock that she realized CT was a faithful and then her only options were to banish CT or MJ, I think she chose who she wanted to win with the most. Sucks for MJ but she did herself no favors by turning against Sandra. If Sandra had been at the fire of truth it would've been a whole other ending.

MJ was VERY naive.
MJ was robbed. And she earned the right to be bitter about it. BUT CT and Trishelle DESERVED that money. CT was muscle and Trishelle was the brains. They actually played the game and was the only handful of contestants who consistently kicked ass during the missions. 🤷🏽♀️
