    They would not let her fight as she usually does. There were different rules, even they showed her a yellow card. It was not fair for Valentina. She is a great fighter and she deserves a fight with known rules.

    People are surprised that Valentina got beaten in this fight, but the Chinese girl is a former Sanshou women champion, and she fought at 135 lb usually, she is bigger than Valentina, and it shows because Valentina could not physically dominate her when she knows her striking especially her punches could not keep up. I felt Valentina made more significant hits but Cong was being the aggressor and making more hits. Val is great at counters but therein is the problem, she almost only counters. Amanda Nunes won the first fight handily. She scored 10-9 in the first and 10-8 on Valentina in the second round but gassed trying to finish her. Valentina came back and won the third however even if you scored the third round 10-8 for Shevchenko Nunes still wins the fight 28-27, otherwise its 29-27 Nunes.
      Shevchenko didn't do enough to defeat Nunes in the second fight, it was a dull and disappointing bout that should have been scored a Draw as Nunes didn't do enough to beat Valentina either and I say that as a fan of the latter.

    • @DarkJediFarkas

      @@madgavin7568 😂she didn't do enough that's laughable it was a split decision after all against Amanda in the second fight, if you really would have watched that fight you would see that the aggressive and harder Strikes come from Shevchenko, also Amanda misses often. The only thing Amanda really was able to land are (the mostly light) leg kicks, some where really hurtful but that was not enough. Also Amanda tried to eyepoke her and get a warning, they talked a bit during and after the fight. Expecialy Amanda was on edge but both where on fire and a bit trashy. I loved the tension, they would be great TUF Coaches the two greatest female fighters for 3 time😏 🤔maybe after Amanda hopefully can get her shit together and win the rematch against Pena, we get a Trilogy.
      Valentina clearly lost the first fight, but it was still a close fight.
      I was impressed by Shevchenko how she could get out of the "RNC" neck crank, she didn't tapped like Connor or yeah Nunes (she quit because she was tired). It's never a fair fight between them

BULLET whooped her as much in the 3rd round and I love the gassed out excuse as usual for THE FAKE GOAT. BULLET showed what true heart is by getting beat in the 2nd round 10-9 not 10-8 at all and ended the round on top and came back in the 3rd round to whoop THE FAKE GOAT. Nunes edged the 1st round so it was 29-28 for THE FAKE GOAT in a very close fight. Would have been stopped if it was 5 rounds not because of gaz tank but because of lack of heart. 2nd fight is a clear win for THE GOAT....THE REAL GOAT. 2-4-5 easy for THE GOAT...THE REAL GOAT. Even 3 can go to her. I love the she didn't do enough excuse as if THE FAKE GOAT did anything at all the entire fight besides getting countered all night long. Boring or not THE FAKE GOAT got punched in the face 80% of the fight and was confused and getting tagged all night long. Even THE FAKE GOAT thought she won the lottery when they gave her the gift. 2nd fight was a clear win 3-2 at worse for THE GOAT....THE REAL GOAT.

    Can someone explain to me why the ref kept breaking up the fight and warning Valentina? What was she doing wrong?

    • @Mmabasedgoddess
      @Mmabasedgoddess Před měsícem

      Because it's a kickboxing fight, under that rule set aren't supposed to be clinching (similar to boxing when they clinch they are separated quickly) in muay thai you are allowed to work more from the clinch and I think Valentina is used to fighting Muay Thai which is why she kept doing it

    Kickboxing rules: no clinch for survival, active clinch with knees, no throws, no elbows, a yellow card forfeits 25% of the fight purse and earns a 1-point deduction, a red card is a disqualification. Its clear why Valentina lose.. she breached the rule several times and got penalised in her striking count purse

      You are right about KB rules but remember this point> Valentina won the 1st Kunlun Fight Championship 2014, only 1 year before this fight, under other particular rules, shared by Kunlun, not exactly Kickboxing rules. You can see the referee trying to explain to Valentina the rules. Shevchenko Team clearly explained that they received no clear information about changes in the rules, minutes before this fight; that is why Valentina never returned to the Kunlun event. A similar situation happened in Kung Fu Master vs Bai Jing where Valentina won by far. No excuses, however, Valentina always has been superior to Wang Cong, Bai Jing, and others.

      @@ryanstephanus Valentina lost the fight, It is true but not fighting like a Wild Animal, She won, the first Kunlun, under other particular rules that she used in this second tournament. the root cause was: no clear new rules explained until minutes before the fight. That is why Shevchenko never comes back to Kunlun. Another fight where another Chinese Fighter benefited, on purpose vs Shevchenko, was against Bai Jing. These actions are not random.
