@@Thejazzy1yes I’m day 2 I have some experience with the bassoon so I don’t sound horrid but I definitely need to do long tones in general and also the A to C and vice versa is hard to nail for me lol as well as keeping my embouchure right 😊😊 definitely is worth it though I was just playing some solos I hear in my playlists definitely an amazing instrument

Keep trying. You will get better and can sound like this. Just work on tone ( it's basically the most important part of oboe )
Finding a good teacher can really help with learning any instrument, but it’s pretty rare to find a good oboe teacher

I do think about Tchaikovsky a lot when I’m playing his music. For my own performance anxiety, I only imagine him cheering me on!
