It’s Beauty of Joseon. Pronounced as Jo and Seon as in John. It’s a dynasty in Korea.
Love K & J beauty!!! My HGs Hada Labo HA, beauty of joseon calming serum & timeless Vit C!!! Beauty of Joseon repair serum ginseng & snail mucin is also awesome for dry & compromised skin barrier
So happy you did this video! I have ordered from Yesstyle but wasn't sure it was legit but now I will order from them again!
Love love love this video!!!! I’m a huge fan of Japanese and Korean skincare (it’s actually how I started my very first skincare routine),
I was fortunate to live in Japan for a year as part of my university course and I agree Kyoto is so beautiful :)
Incidentally, there is a UK website that sells Korean skincare called Beauty and Seoul. If you love Klairs and Purito they are both sold here. They only take a few days to be delivered as their warehouse is in the uk. I love this website :)
I hope you will do another video like this later on as it was so enjoyable to watch.
Thank you Nadine, you have made my day! :D
I have been WAITING SO LONG for this! Thank you Nadine! x
I've been waiting for this one!!! LOVE K-Beauty x
I love Hada Labo, Timeless, AHC, DHC, Time Stop and Klairs
I’m over 50 but with oily blemish-prone (still!!) skin and I LOVE J and K SPFs! I’ve been using yesstyle for a few years, Olgatoja put me on to it. I always get the Hada Labo Gyoku Jun HA (light) and CosRX cleanser, which I use in the morning in the shower. The other nice thing is, they always send a variety of little free samples with your order. I’m in Australia, but it still usually takes a couple of weeks to get here.
Favorite brands : Klairs and Isntree! The fundamental watery series from Klairs, and Isntree hyaluronic gel moisturizer and green tea toner.
For more than ten years i use Missha water gel sun screen, love it !
Love the cosrx overnight mask….super moisturising, just gorgeous
When I saw you talk about the Hado Labo Gold Hyaluronic Acid Serum earlier in the year, I was so impressed I immediately ordered some. I'm just about to start on my 2nd bottle. It has been such a boon for my older, aging, stressed and dry skin.
Brilliant post! The products look so interesting.
I love J and K beauty, especially their sunscreens. I did not know you can get Timeless vitamin C from Yesstyle but now I do and that will definitely be in my cart on my next purchase
Aneesa is my favourite J brand sun protection. Love it!!!
That klairs waterdrop oil is one of my favourites. If anyone gets angry skin/spots, the Benton soothing toner available on yes style is lovely.
I also need shu umera
I swear if I was dog, my tail would wag whenever I hear that tune! 😍😍😍
Thumbs up for Yesstyle! Make Prem UV defense me is my favorite sunscreen. For those in the US, Timeless products are now available in Target too.
I just got the Biore light up spf today abs can’t believe how lovely it is. I used yesstyle, and it took a month, seemed to spend a lifetime in customs, but we got there in the end! So worth waiting.
My absolute favorite J&K products are the I’m From Honey Mask, Dr Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence, and the Bonajour Green Tea Water Bomb moisturizer. Those are 3 products I will never be without.
I also love Klairs Gentle Black Fresh Cleansing Oil, the I’m From Mugwort line.
Wonderful video. Thank you for sharing great products.
SkinAqua in the blue packaging is unscented and alcohol free and is serum texture, a HG for me for the almost 3 years now. Love this video, thanks!
Yay! J&k. I have the Klairs watery oil, which is better than Beauty Pie's japan fusion. Krave great barrier relief serum, Purito eye recovery cream, Biore aqua gel SPF 50, cosrx nacinamide/snail duo serum, hado labo gold hylauronic acid serum. Also some make up. They are all fantastic haven't had a dud yet. Thank you Nadine for a great video.
Have been utilising services of Yesstyle and Stylevana for the last year. Love iUNIK, Pyunkang Yul, I’m From, Rohto Mentholatum (Hado Labo) and Blithe. Spent a small fortune but my 60 year old skin has never felt so good or felt so soft. I do not buy skincare from Scotland (UK) any more as South Korean fab and great price.
Great presentation- love these products
I always repurchase Purito Centella Oil Cleanser and Toner, Lanegie Cream Skin (much cheaper on Yes Style than Cult!), Pyunkand Yul Essence and Canmake Mermaid Skin SPF. But there's LOADS more I want to try out! Defo need to get the Biore SPF!

Timeless Vit C ❤️
I've looked high & low after trying it several years ago . The best results from a vitamin C .Now I know where to order 💕🥳
They sell it at target also.

@@debradowling800 unfortunately I live in Italy and we don't have target 🤷🏽♀️
I need that jumbo sized Gokujyun hyaluronic acid in my life!
I buy a lot of my Korean skin care here in the UK, from Skinsider (They sell... Beauty of Joseon, Cosrx, Klair's, etc)
Lookfantastic also sells Cosrx. And Skincity also sells Klair's.
If I can't get what I wan't from them. I do indeed buy from Yesstyle. I always manage to get a good deal. (Sale, Plus points etc) Making the products just as cheap as if I had bought them in the UK. I love the Illyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream.Very Healing! I love the Barr - Centella Products. The Barr cream is also very healing. Both were great at sorting my neck out when I had really bad retinol burns. My super oily acne prone face loves the Barr Centella products. And my latest purchase was the Derma B - Moisture Body Lotion. My dry pimply arms love that. I almost forgot to say, that my super oily, acne prone, sensitive skin also loves the Beauty Of Joseon Calming Serum too!
Timeless Vit C has been my holy grail for years now ( even though its not a Japanese or Korean brand), its a much cheaper but just as good as Skinceuticals Vitamin C. Living in Asia I am so incredibly fortunate to have fairly easy access to all of these products. Even though it has been taken off the market and is in the process of being reformulated, Purito had the most wonderful unscented spf! I dont think I have ever met anyone who tried it and didnt fall in love with it. The joy of J& K beauty is that the majority of the products are really good and very affordable!
I use the Timeless vit.C and I bought it from Yestyle. It took ages to arrive but this product is so popular it’s hard to come by. Also the packaging keeps the Vit C fresher for longer 😀
We need a favourite products of all time Nadine :)
I have been using both Korean and Japanese products for the last 8 years. I love the Rohto Mentholatum Vitamin C, Canmake Mermaid spf, Biore UV Aqua Rich spf (plus their cleansing oil), Im From Rice and Im From Mugworts essences plus Japanese eyeliners and mascara which work beautifully (unlike the pricey Charlotte Tilbury & various other western brands which I have tried out over the years). I also use Missha BB instead of foundation, and have done so for at least 6 years.
Wondered when you’d discover these products! I’m so addicted to these! I’m an Aussie and think that we are a long way behind J&K beauty sunscreens. (Think we got stuck years ago, tbh…)
DHC Soothing Toner - was a revelation that toners could hydrate rather than the grease strippers of my youth. Then got a Japanese urea moisture water beginning with S whose name escapes me. I also like Dr Jart’s ceramide range. Like others, I’m slightly sceptical of the UV protection & whether the lab measures to test are exactly comparable to EU standards. I’m not down on chemical sunscreens (I currently use Altruist face fluid which is a mixture)but for the eye irritation thing my holy grail would be mineral with J & K consistency. There is a Timeless UK site but no 20% Vit C available, the sister site Barefection has a number of J & K products if you’re in a rush. I do like that YesStyle has a lot of stuff in mini size to try out.
.the Purito VIt c moisturizer is gorgeous as well as the Hyggee all-in-one essence
The Cosrx cleanser is available in Boots in the Uk too
I love the biore spfs and yesstyle i love waiting for my hauls to arrive... gutted id spent my quota for the month as so many deals this weekend
Hi Polly! I am sorry to ask, are there any additional charges or taxes to pay upon arrival when you order from them, or is it pay in advance at the checkout? Thank you!
@@yayideornelas not a problem happy ro help... nope..no extra taxes everything is included at check out 😊
I can't wait to get my order from yestyle I stocked up on Hada Labo and Joseon
Timeless is a Korean or Japanese brand? I thought Timeless was produced in the US.
Edited to add, I just checked and yes the products are made in California, US.
That's strange? I checked also, made in the U.S!!!!! Why is she showing Japanese or Korean made?
*YESSTYLE DISCOUNT -> REWARDS CODE: 347RKR*
as soon as I hear 'SPF' on anyones vlog Im zzzzzzzzzzzzz i know its wrong. Love Nadine!
Oopsie Nadine, the Beauty of Joseon writing is in Korean as it is a Korean brand XD
But the Japan story was nice 😂
I love yesstyle so much! I love Klairs, Pyong Kang yul, Heimish, Haru Haru, cosrx, issnfree, some by mi, rovectin, I’m from.... I mean I love A LOT on there lol. That’s just some of the skincare I love, then I use a heap of make up from yesstyle and a decent amount of home decor and kitchen items and even some clothes 😅 I spend wayyyy to much time and money on there lol
YesStyle also has an option for searching cruelty free which is great
Timeless is not Korean, nor Japanese, it’s based in California.
Yes, I was surprised when she said j and k as I’ve heard Angie ( hot and flashy) talk about this a zillion times and it wasn’t Japanese or Korean.
Problem with the Asian sunscreens for me is they're formulated more for incidental uv exposure-indoors and short journeys outdoors along with wear sun hats and use parasols-how the Japanese and Koreans protect themselves from the sun. Lab Muffin wrote about this on her blog.
If I want to spend a few hours working outdoors in the garden or am out for the day in the sun I want a sunscreen that's formulated for typical use here in Europe, so I stick to LRP, Garnier and Avene European formulations. The ones out this year from those brands are elegant formulations anyway while having the newest and best broad spectrum filters like TriAsorB.
Also after a couple of Asian sunscreens failing to have the stated sunscreen I don't trust them to protect my Fitzpatrick type 1 skin.
When I do outdoor activities like hiking, I definitely prefer a western sunscreen brand like from Neutrogena or EltaMD in the US, but Shiseido, which owns the Anessa sunscreen brand, is also a very reputable company for sunscreen. The recent sunscreen controversy only had to do with select Korean sunscreens, with the most popular brands being Purito and Dear, Klairs. For anyone looking for a heavy-duty sunscreen in East Asia, Anessa's waterproof formula and Biore's Athlizm line work well for my Fitzpatrick type 3 skin.
@@happleducky Thanks for that info Leni. I would trust Shiseido actually-it's been available here in my country for many years so has had to pass stringent EU sunscreen standards so I trust it. Nice sunscreens I believe, but I like I can get the French pharmacy brands and Garnier in my local pharmacy down the street.
I like Mizon. Pricing is good and their BB cream is lovely. I also use their black snail all in one cream, it helped my skin during pandemic. I used to use Timeless Vit. C (am now giving Emepelle a try) when it was still in the old packaging, and liked the product--not the longevity. Nadine, how long does the Timeless Vit C last in the new pump before it goes south? I may be looking at it again if the Emepelle doesn't pan out. Also, the sun screens are very tempting as is the Klairs. Thanks for this post. It is something I've been wondering about.
Hi Nadine, I’d recommend the low pH cleanser by Heimish, it’s SO much nicer to use than the CosRx one 🙌🏻
I love that one
Yep way way better
Love their balm cleanser too
The kiss me mommy alcohol free is a god send. On my skin it looks gorgeous. The fragrance hasn’t bothered me.

Shame about all the excessive plastic packaging, but I will be buying the timeless to try and biore. I have been on yes style but I’ve been overwhelmed with choice and not know where to start! So I give up. Thanks for this
Thanks so much for the heads up on where to get Timeless Vitamin C......it’s like rocking horse poo.....just can’t find it but now I know where to go 👍 Many thanks and off for a gander at Yesstyle 🙂
Actually, Timeless is a US brand through and through, so I'm confused why it's featured on Yesstyle as a far east brand. Also, Timeless ships directly from London. Go get some! haha
@@watashiwamillo I’ve already looked on their UK website and whilst you can get all of their other products, you can’t get their Vitamin C 🤷♀️
@@maureenormston1687 ah right. someone else mentioned the Vit C has an ingredient that the UK doesn't like. So yes style is wonderful for you. Glad Nadine uncovered this source for this Vit C. :))
However it is a bit worrying that the vitamin c contains a band substance in the EU , Timeless have said they are trying to rectify the problem hopefully by the end of year but until they do or don’t we can’t get it from timeless UK
I have been buying timeless vit c for ages through eBay and a Canadian supplier but now I find that wherever I buy it from it always arrives already slightly oxidised so just be careful.
I do wish you would would have gone through the ingredients for us, as I my skin cannot tolerate fragrance and alcohol

Love the products. Would the sunscreens be ok for melasma?
Nadine - iPhones have an app called google translate. You just put your phone over the writing and it shows it in English. So useful x
I am relating with you, as I am ordering from Yesstyle from half an year constantly. Western products are really expensive for what they delivers. Toners espeacially are poor represented. Purito, Benton, Missha, Its skin, Nature republik, Beauty of Joseon... are few of my best friends now. Incredible results on mature dry skin. Under the condition of follow the skin routine steps.
Missha Essence 45 is fabulous.
Excellent review can u pls explain which sunscreen for what type I have combination skin.
Which one should I purchase and also I love using Timeless products very affordable
FYI Cosrx now widely available in the UK at Boots, Look Fantastic, Feelunique etc. Not sure how prices compare with yesstyle. Didn't realise they did Timeless at yesstyle - thanks. Emma x
Love the Timeless CoQ10 serum. I react to Vit C, especially when I'm using tretinonin, but the CoQ10 is lovely. Also using the Timeless dark circle undereye gel-cream. Seems to be helping. We can get Timeless in the US without going through YesStyle. Have also been loving the AHC Essence which is a couple weights of HA, ceramides and french spa water. Has boosted my moisture content which this 58 y.o. skin needs.
What does the CoQ10 do for your skin?
Timeless is made in the US, from what I read on their website. Not a K or J beauty brand.
@@Anna-vz5tn That's what I thought but then Nadine featured Timeless in this video.
@@greenknitter A anti-oxidant like vit C but gentler.
@@ann7864 Ah ok. I already use vit C and it agrees with my skin so don't need it then.

Would love to know if any of these spfs are suitable under makeup.
I’m going on it now 😁
Nadie please can you do a video on how to stay flawless in the summer heat - nothing and I do mean NOTHING stops the sweat dripping off my face and RUINS makeup - I thought I might try a tinted SPF but can't find a good one that's sweatproof :(
Timeless Vit C serum used to be easily available in Europe until it was discovered that one of the ingredients was in a too high concentration and not allowed in Europe. I wrote to Timeless and asked about it - and they said that by the end of this year they expect to have a solution.
Last time I buy from Yes style I pay an extra charge for custom... I have mixed feeling with Yes style, and I buy from it since 2013.
Long live the Beauty Hags!🐈
Great video, thanks Nadine that was a really interesting watch. Could I ask you please if it’s still the two finger rule for the Biore SPF for face and neck? I’m curious if the consistency changes the quantity? Many thanks 🙏🏻
Yes because you should apply 2mg/cm2 and when it is liquid it is lighter than a cream
I use this SPF and find it easier to apply it in 2 lighter layers - so 1 fingers worth rub in and let absorb a little then a second layer rather than two at once. As it is so runny 2 fingers worth all in one go just feels like it’s sliding all over your face
You can still buy Shu Umura ( not sure if that’s spelt right) hair products in uk.
I think the brand is owned by L’Oréal now anyway?
You can get Cosrx in boots now! X
The only problem with Korean and Japanese SPFs, is tegulation. Not sure if the 50++, really gives you enough protection.
PS I bought a spare Shu Umera eyelash curler - my favourite - from yesstyle! Emma x
Hi nadine when are we going to see jo and yourself back on here?I've watching you both xxx
Hi Nadine, can you substitute one of the SPFs for a moisturiser with just a serum underneath the spf? Can one of the cleansers be used to remove eye makeup? Thanks
@Sundara Daya thanks
Hi Nadine, did you pay for customs or duties for the U.K? Isn't Timeless ,made in the U.S?
Amazon is fine. Yesstyle let's you order even if the item is out of stock (without telling you)and then you sit and wait for it to arrive for months. I had to cancel my order.. coz they wouldn't ship any item until the whole order was complete. Just FYI.

Does YesStyle ship to EU and what about taxes and duties?
i registered with Yes style!
Love the Bioré UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel on my oily skin. Does anyone know the difference between that and the Bioré UV Aqua Rich Light Up Essence in Nadine's haul?
Yes, light up is white irridescent. When you see UP in a spf it means it is white.
The Light Up Essence is a "tone up" sunscreen, it's like a whitening primer. It leaves an iridescent finish and white finish on the skin. Not transparent at all 😅
Thank you both!
I like the Timeless Vitamin C but I've switched to the Geek & Gorgeous vit c 15% as it's less than half the price for the same amount-€26.15-Timeless, €10.50 G&G. I'm ok with the 5% less and apply more because of the low price. Love Hado Labo HA serum.
Try the Garden of Wisdom Vitamin C serum. It´s 23% ascorbic acid plus ferulic acid and it´s only 10 pounds. Find it at Victoria Health.
@@Mrgregmav Thanks. I'll check it out but not sure I need that high percentage ascorbic acid and I'll be starting azelaic acid also soon.

Timeless is based in California, CEO Veronica Pedersen , it’s not Korean or Japanese brand.
I just learned that high levels of vit c can cause broken capillaries - if this is you, you can substitute niacinamide instead. The PC one is expensive but lasts forever. ✨💕✨
Heard that too and I already have a few so avoid 20% and over. Geek&Gorgeous is 15% and less half the price of Timeless, it's the correct pH and made fresh every week. ;)
@@greenknitter I found this brand recently, its unreal
@@BabzProductions Best, most affordable skincare brand I've found. Like The Ordinary but better. HG products for me are the vit C and the retinaldehyde A Game 0.1% which is €70 cheaper!!! than the Medik8 one with the same active ingredient! seriously if you want a vitamin A and can't get tretinoin or it's too harsh for your skin try ths! they have a 0.5% one to start off with too. Yesstyle assortment is great but their shipping is absolutely abysmal. It takes like 4 weeks to get products which is crazy. I prefer Kokoro Japan store or even top rated eBay sellers can get stuff to me in 10-14 days.
Check item availability at checkout. I usually group together things on how quick post can be. Mostly I get items withinh a week
Do you have any worries about the recent findings that many Korean sun protection products have significantly less than the stated SPF levels?
Hey having followed the updates, it is not a Korea specific issue their are many western sunscreens (same numbers compared to Korean sunscreens) so the explosive worry surrounding Korean sunscreen is just racism. But I assume that’s not your intention, what I’ve been looking for is specific products being taken of the market and reformulated. A mix of filters also assures me that I’m getting good protection from a sunscreen. Lab muffin as well as Charlotte Palermino have both been great at commentating on this issue 🙃
Japanese sunscreen laws are pretty strict, so I would go for Jaoanese sunscreen than Korean... especially after the Purito scandal, I've had trouble trusting a lot of the brands which I was loyal to
@@AAA-vk4wh there were many Korean brands that then were found to be substandard after the scandal came to light

I been using colorescience mineral sunscreen all over my face, I didn't have any stinging
Ive been using No7 shimmering lip and eye spf 30+ and the Ultrasun eye spf30 antiaging. I had the same issue with spf stinging my eyes and have not had any problems with either of these

CosRX isn’t hard to get - loads of UK stockists have it including Boots.
And Timeless is not hard to get in the UK either!
I’ve been hammered by PO in the past. Only £ 2 odd in tax -which Yesstyle will refund,- but £9 odd for PO handling. Just saying.
Timeless is a based in California USA. They don't ship to the UK?
Yes! They are not from Asia, but California, about 15 miles from me. Thank you for clarifying this.
I’ve been ordering direct from Timeless to Scotland for at least 4 years🙌🏻 Always get fantastic sales up to 50% off! Shipping times can be quite long and I also feel shipping costs have seriously increased this past 9 months. However, their products are well worth it🤩
Vit C from Timeless didn't help me in my pigmentation.😬
Nor me, but Neostrata nag retinol 0.5% did 😊
Why would you need to have instructions for an SPF?!
Ordered many times from Yesstyle but much prefer Jolse and Stylevana. I don't like Yesstyle artificially incrrasing prices then to pretend it is on huge sale...... 😡
Hopefully now that you don’t belong to the EU anymore, you’ll have access to a greater variety of goodies! 😉 I’ve used Yesstyle a few times and I’m definitely a fan (in Australia).
Ehm, Yesstyle sells in the EU since years, I live in Italy and I buy from it since 2013, the Brexit, instead, will give UK some problems: to have access to goodies from Europe, for example fresh food, french or Italian products (Uk will pay more custom fees now)...
After using K beauty for nearly two years, I think its very overrated. J beauty however, I love. No one does spfs better than Japanese
The European ones have the best uv filters including the latest one Ávene uses and the formulations in the newest ones out this year are very light.
@@greenknitter any mineral recommendation?
@@KK-cs6ou Good European mineral -if that's what you mean, are not so easy to find as we have so many good chemical ones.
