- This chateau is a true gem. It isn't far in the country. It is renovated. It is tasteful and has an amazing yard with formal gardens and even a fountain! It doesn't get much better than this.

For the same price you could not even buy a casual one bedroom flat in central London or New York or Hollywood I live in France there are more than 45 000 castles in France have a. Go some foreigners transform french castles in luxury B and B for wedding and private party etc and they have nice retirement plan in case of a massive stock exchange krach have to think about the future take Care from France

This Chateau will go so quickly! Absolutely so exquisite and not overpowering with the land. Just enough for many people anyway, so lovely to be outside and enjoy and yet the care will not take up all your time. I would buy it myself, if younger and had this kind of money! Plus, I live in NYS and understand that is much harder though to get anything approved? Easier if you live in France am sure.

You're right, this place is a gem and we'll no doubt go quickly! Such a manageable amount of land, but probably just enough to keep you busy 🙂. Typically furnishings do not stay with the property. Sometimes they even take chandeliers right out of the ceiling! For some reason those are not seen as staying with the property. Quite a bit different than here in the US!
@@LetsBuyAChateau Am, glad you mentioned about chandelier's too, not being taken as a "fixable" and staying item. That is too bad really, as it can make such a difference That is good for people to know, guess if they do not say "furniture is negotiable, " than the chances are they are leaving? Thank you! @@LetsBuyAChateau That particular property has been for sale for at least two or three years that I know of. I was idly looking at chateaux for sale back in 2020/21 and it was on the market then. It’s a nice, manageable property in itself, although not in my one of my preferred areas. I know two years isn’t a very long time in the French market but I had to smile at the suggestion it would be quickly snapped up.
You can’t buy a two bedroom apartment in Los Angeles for that price 😊
And look how much more space you get! I bet it's a lot quieter too :)
