Anyone else notice the body in the grass lol
looks dead but still. I love watching a Tarkov video and seeing something that the player didn't like a player scav camping in a bush with a Christmas hat on
Alright, so I got into Tarkov and man... it's been a rough week so far. A good 50 raids in, I think I survived 5 or 6. I just can't seem to avoid getting one-tapped from out of nowhere, and I realized that I never get into PVP fights at all so when I'm forced to do so (contact too close) my aim is garbage. Bringing good gear could definitely save my life, but not when I don't see or hear targets at all no matter how much I try, which ends up with me just bringing a pistol and Ratting it out. Also makes PMC kill tasks incredibly tough.
What helped me is taking it slow it's ok to be in a raid for 40mins or longer also learning pmc spawns is good especially when playing customs
Oh and you want to have a slow dpi
During first 50 raids I survived about 5 as well. I killed my first PMC after about 30h in-raid and only because he didn't notice me behind the rock. He was level 30+ fat geared, with sniper rifle and M4 and I shot his face with my poor-ass mozin. I died 10 minutes later but I killed 8 skavs in this raid. Now I am level 13 and I still hide in shadows, kill other only when pushed, not starting a gunfight when unnecessary.
First 50 raids are always rough, I don't think I survived any of my first 50 PMC runs. I'm worth 100+mil now and regularly wipe 2 and 3 man squads. I knocked out three 2 man squads on customs rocking M4s and lv5 armor. One of the squads even set up an ambush. I was running lv4 armor and a SA58 with m80.
You'll get better as time goes on, I'm a shitter, I just make some good plays
Iâve just started and tarkov is such a curveball to me. Iâm a run and gun cod player and I havenât survived any raids (about 10). The play style for this game is so hard for me to conform to but Iâm getting there slowly.
Honestly, my best tip, is to just keep going into the game and dying. Eventually you learn to aim better, position better, certain runs that are successful, and way to manipulate the market.
This was such a good episode. I watched it and confidently finished to solo starting runs with one pmce and one scav and got away with three new guns that got me so many rubles. Really started to feel more comfortable on Customs and while I already new to keep calm during gunfire and to just move while others are engaged and burning their own resources, it felt like positive reinforcement hearing from someone else that taking smart engagements is the way.
An updated version of this would be awesome!
Karma: runs around in the plain open for 20 minutes - doesn't even get shot at.
Me: Spawns, walk three steps into the open, get killed by 1 bullet from a scav 100 meters away.
Lol
Whenever i play I run around for ages, never see anyone, as soon as i see someone, scav or PMC they one tap me
Not gonna lie, I would probably not even bother buying anything except the cheapest primary I can find on the flea market and doing loot runs or maybe quests until lvl 20 at this point in the wipe. PMC combat will just crush you at low levels.
GIBBONS!!!!!
As a 5+ year [EFT] player, I really enjoyed this video. You helped reinforce a lot of crucial basics that I had forgotten or neglected, and those basics are what separate âgoodâ/successful players from players that feel like itâs a constant struggle without ever feeling like theyâve grown and improved.
Also, explaining your movement/tactics was really important. Itâll take a while for new players to apply that knowledge instinctively, but just hearing the info a single time will plant the seed, and have a huge impact on their gameplay eventually.
Looking forward to checking out more of your content when I have time later đ. Keep doinâ you đđ» o7

I thoroughly enjoy the new account playthroughs, it just seems so much more satisfying than running around in full gear with really good ammo and guns.
I love how you explain your thought process in game, really helps to understand how to think until you're experienced enough.
Such a great video wonderful effort put into this. So I just started playing recently and I had the same experience everyone did where I felt like I was never going to get better. I had no understanding of what I was supposed to do. Every raid felt impossible and I could barely hope to kill even scav let alone a pmc. The key is literally to just keep trying over and over. It WILL be frustrating but if you can learn from your mistakes you will find yourself getting the hang of it all of a sudden. That's really how it happens to you just realize in some moment that you aren't terrified to run into any form of conflict. You are moving around the map looting and playing with confidence. Do your trader tasks and learn the maps. The rest will come naturally.
I appreciate this a lot. Its easy to just upload your streams in their entirety like others. But you went the extra mile with the editing
As a player whoâs some what new to the game this helps a lot
Jacob Tatum this and Pestilyâs videos are definitely very helpful for new players. Pestily has a good new account series on doing the quests and lots of new player videos
31:16 I think while you're taking pot shots at people who are unaware you're there, you need to remember to click and hold to delay the rechamber and see if your shots connect.
27:40 "But I'm gonna be greedy"
I instantly smiled because I already knew what was going to happen haha
first raid: you find a hose, worth 30k and you fail to put it inside your safe box. drop those 2k items out to your backpack and put some actually expensive stuff in there so when you die you will at least be able to get a new gun and armour
This is extremely well put together and edited. Great content man đ can't wait to watch the whole series
Hey man! I usually dont stick around for videos watching people play, but you managed to glue me to my screen as a noob in EFT. You have a great mindset when it comes to this game and your tactical awareness is superb! Learned a lot and will stick around for more.
I would be honoured if you could relay your training in a more live fashion with hands on runs, but I also understand having a noob tagging along totally changes the cadence of a raid.
