Good luck with those Herba Drops & Outbreak Shiny Hunts! What build did you run through Pika with?
Serperior and I'm gonna hunt for Mimi and Alolan Rai.
I Used Venusaur and I got 7 Star Pikachu & My Alolan Raichus
annihilape @ shell bell, max atk max hp, 4 for Def, ghost tera
Defiant ability
Moveset:
Rage fist
Bulk up
Focus energy
Sequence:
Rage fist until have tera, dying is normal
Tera then bulk up, rage fist if low health, focus energy will make it faster
Used serperior, except had stellar tera and was holding metronome with the moveset:
leaf storm, tera blast, giga drain and light screen.
Did 3 leaf storms, terastalised then giga drain then just blasted through with tera blast using heal chear when on low health so as not to affect the metronome
I used meoscarada( with shell bell, adamant nature and max attack and hp)by using the following moves in order:
1) turn one knock off
2) hone claws
3) hone claws
5)flower trick (till Pikachu is defeated)
Note : flower trick before terastrillization does not does much damage but after terastrillization it does huge chunks of damage since flower trick always crits ( ability does not matter )
I use the Venusaur you suggested from your last video and it works. I even finish the raid before it hits 60% of the raid timer. Thanks for consistly helping the community and lots of love from the Philippines 🇵🇭!
Thanks for the comment and support, really happy to hear the builds helped out :)
@@Osirus I used a knock off set and was better
Venusaur is no joke super fast😂😂😂
@@korindoseng4953he da GOOOOOOOOOOOAAATTT
One difference this Pikachu has compared to the original from Pokémon Day is the fact that this time around the size is fixed to standard as opposed to having the chance to be Jumbo!
Where did you got the info from?
@@andresreyes5722 Serebii, if you compare the pages for the original event and the current one, you'll see that the size difference has been changed
Soloed mine with a meadow plate tera grass Arceus running Judgement, Acid Spray, Calm Mind, and Recover with HP and SpAtk evs - very easy solo and was able to one-shot it after setting up completely! I caught Pikachu in a love ball; felt fitting for an adorable little guy we've all grown up with and love to death :)
Next up: farm some Herbas and shiny hunt all the outbreaks!! Gonna go in order from left to right maps, so starting with the baby :D
^ Obviously not available to everyone, but I will say, if you have Arceus available from PLA, this method is extremely quick and easy/reliable so if you plan on farming, this is the raid to do it. Compared to the last few, especially Emboar, the solo farming is much quicker and less stressful against Pika haha
do you have an extra arceus by any chance???
@@youngsosa007 I have one
@@huejanus9242would you be interested in a trade?
Updated my arboliva build to your last video and that worked really well. Now to do the outbreaks.
Wo-Chien dominates this raid: turn 1 Knockoff, turn 2 Sunny day, turn 3-4 Growth, then Giga Drain spam while holding a Metronome.
Great video, thank you!
I beat the raid on the first attempt because of your guide. Very helpful
thanks again for your guides!
Thanks for the comment and support!! Hope you enjoy the Pika events :)
Excellent as always, thanks 👍
Just completed my first 7 star with almost half the time left! Thank you so much for this guide and the time you put into these videos :)
Used Lurantis, and it worked beautifully. :) Thank you!
Thank you! I got it solo on the first try with your Lurantis build. ❤
thanks for the Pokémon builds for the pikachu raids
Used my Venusaur from the 7 star raid a few months ago (that you recommended the build for) and it worked a charm here with Pikachu! Awesome videos as always!
I remember using Arboliva when this Pikachu Raid first appeared, which was pretty much spamming Terrain Pulse and Giga Drain with the ability Seed Shower.
Now I opted for the Serperior build. Although I didn't use Knock Off or Sunny Day, I still had an easy time against it.
Thank you for this build!
Tysm!!
Thank you for the great help sir
Nice video bud, thanks.
you're videos are always so helpful thank u
Nice I had fun using a Sword dancing Jumpluff
I've been using the following setup to great success:
Decidueye @ Metronome
-Ability: Overgrow
-Nature: Modest
-Tera Type: Grass
EVs:
-252 Sp.A
-180 HP
-76 Spe*
*Edit: This EV Spread will allow you to have 1 speed point more than pikachu (you will have 195 speed @ lvl100) which allows you to get a turn 1 knock off before you get hit by Pikachu's second damaging attack. Seems to be more consistent and not have to use cheer: heal as often in-between nasty plots if you get bad rng/allies.
Moves:
-Giga Drain
-Nasty Plot
-Knock Off
-Energy Ball (was testing this but giga drain with metronome seems to be better than energy ball+shell bell spam with the occasional giga drain for further heal)
My strategy is:
-knock off turn 1
-nasty plot turns 2-4 (+6 SpA)
-spam giga drain til win (tera grass as soon as available)
Usually finish with ~60% shield remaining, easily farmable and fast with minimal effort
❤❤❤❤❤Thank for info bro and your service bro
The Serperior build was super quick and easy! All of the leaf storms hit LOL. Thanks Osirus for another great raid build!
I just caught the pikachu!! So thank you.
I soloed it with Lurantis also did it with Hydrapple and Hisuian Lilligant but thank you for the Lurantis build its by far the best Pokemon for this raid.
I used a bellossom build you recommended some time ago, just switched the shell bell for a covert cloak, It worked pretty well 🎉
I saw your Serperior build the other day and since it was only available in an upgraded biome I had about 2000 BP to gather by myself. It was worth it though because I set him up exactly how you suggested and I’ve had no problem whatsoever with the pikachu raid! Thank you!
Any tips on how to give Serperior knock off? I tried the egg move method but it doesnt seem to work for me
@@rubenr23it's available as a tm in the dlc (number 181)
I’m using your seperior build and it’s all that and then some! Beast ball!
I got 1 shiny alolan raichu and 1 non shiny variant in blueberry academy, and 2 shininy mimikyu in kitakami (caught the first, then found the second in the same outbreak immediately after that)
Awesome news on the early shinys Ronin, im looking forward to the shiny mark hunting tomorrow during our stream :)
@@Osirusfunnily enough, the second mimikyu I caught has the uncommon mark
Dude, awsome! I got 2 shiny Alolan Raichus back to back and got a Beldum using the remaining sandwich
I have shiny tentacool and. Paldean wooper
I had an arboliva with me, nice
While Running the lurantis/Serperior strat: use heal cheers if you need if you haven't/can't terastalize if your health gets low. Especially if your pokemon of choice is slower than pikachu. Had to use heal cheer twice during set up just to make sure I had the health to terastalize and not lose my lurantis during my run.
The literal first Alolan Raichu I found while locating the nearest outbreak was a shiny, lol. No mark, but still a win. Looking forward to hunting for marks tomorrow!
I caught three shiny Alolan Raichu within 20 minutes with no sandwich
Thx :)
Thanks for the comment :)
My Lurantis demolished Pikachu! 😁 Thanks!
Glad this is gonna be a quick and easy one. The sceptile was easy enough with fezendipiti, so long as you don't get paralyzed 😢 lost everytime I would get paralyzed and I went 15 tries before I went without that dang thing lol
Hope the Pika and the Herba drops are quick and fruitful for you!! Thanks for the comment :)
@Osirus thanks, with either of those 2 builds seems like it's gonna be a nice easy farm session 😁
I guess serperior might be better, but I'll stick with sunny day lurantis. Weakens surf, leaf guard blocks paralysis, and reduces thunders accuracy to 50%
The superior worked like a charm! Finished with way over half timer left lol
Thank you for always making quality videos that help out all the Pokemon trainers! 👍🏻 and subscribe !
TCG Trainers had an Annihilape build we used, took it in used focus energy did a cheer all out, got knocked out and came back to rage fist about 9 times. Great nephew went in with me and used his Lurantis.
Shield Dust Venomoth, Tera Grass, QuiverDance, Giga Drain, Energy ball, Sunny Day made it a doddle for me
Used Lurantis with my battle with Pikachu & got it on the first try using your move sets! Although I didn't have Knock Off as I don't have the DLC in my Scarlet Version so Synthesis would have to do! Anyways, as I using Leaf Storm to power up my Special Attack, I fainted once so I had to use Leaf Storm 3 more times before terastallizing & used Giga Drain the rest of the way! Caught it with an Ultra Ball just like the last tera raid events! I never got a chance to do this event the first time around so lucky for me I got a chance to do it this time around! Hope they bring back the Cinderace & the Greninja events as I didn't get a chance to do those one the first time around either!
Thanks for the build PS if you get arboliva as a partner the grassy tarrain gets the raid done even quicker!
Just ran it again for the rewards (caught Pikachu during the last event). Used Meowscarada again, but Pikachu never used an electric attack on my for w/e reason. Just Surf, Play Rough, and Iron Tail. Even at -3 DEF, Pikachu wasn't hitting hard at all with the held item knocked off.
I caught pikachu in an ultraball and great Tera build
I used sinistcha with help of my friend’s bellibot with acid spray , Tera matcha signature move helped . Plus reflect also and calm mind
doin' it right now with the arboliva from the last video
Nice also a super quick run through, hope the Herba drops are good for you and thanks for the comment :)
My favorite build for online is Contrary Ability Serperior using Leaf Storm and holding Metronome - max EV on Special Attack and Special Defense. Turn 1 set sunny day and turn 2 cheer for defense. After that, just metronome-spam your leaf storm, getting that special attack boost with each hit from Leaf Storm due to contrary and of course the Metronome. If lucky, you can kill in turn 6 due to the attack boost from leaf storm, metronome, and terastal attack boosts with little support but will almost always kill by turn 9. Even better if you run this raid with others that are willing to heal you and let you be the main attacker for the raid. Contrary covers for any defense-losses you would otherwise take from Iron Tail, effectively making the covert cloak practically useless anyway for this fight, so I decided something like Metronome or even Choice Specs would be ideal for this fight.
THIS IS A GLASS CANNON VERSION of the SERPERIOR Build.
Full Strat:
Serperior Lv. 100
Ability: Contrary (Needs Ability Patch)
Max IVs through Hyper-Training, 252 Sp Atk, 252 Sp Def, 6 HP
Moveset: Leaf Storm, Sunny Day, Giga Drain, (Grassy Terrain, Knock-Off, or Reflect are all decent for 4th move choice; depends on how you run it.)
Turn 1: Set Sunny Day to clear Rain Dance running solo or with randoms. If someone else takes on this role or casts a defense cheer, commit to metronome Leaf Storm immediately.
Turn 2: Either Cheer for Defense, or set your 4th move (Grassy Terrain/Knock-Off/Reflect). Alternatively if running with others willing to support you, immediately start using Leaf Storm to boost your attack and start Metronome.
Turn 3: If you take crit damage and are below 100 HP, use Giga Drain or a healing cheer NOW. Otherwise start/continue building metronome Leaf Storm.
Turn 4: Metronome Leaf Storm
Turn 5: If no other party member has fainted and luck is on your side with hit accuracy (Leaf Storm is 90% accurate), this will be the first turn you can Terastal.
Turn 6: First turn this raid can end if you've been doing metronome since turn 1 or 2 and have Terastallized.
(At this point it is just recommended to spam Leaf Storm until the Pikachu has fainted.)
Anytime you see a Serperior in a raid other than your own, try to support it the best you can for best results. Venasaur with Sunny Day Solar Beam, Rillaboom and Arboliv with their abilities setting Grassy Terrain, and of course Ogerpon are all great supports to this strat without a ton of overlap, making them my favored choices. Lurantis has direct overlap with Serperior for strats here, but Serperior has the better stat spread for this fight, completely winning in defense and speed and only just barely losing in Sp. Atk (by 5 base points). This strat only loses if you can't get a good attack chain going without fainting, as when Serperior faints, all of those attack boosts get reset along with any cheers. From my experience, this has been an incredibly fast and effective way to chain raids, but may backfire without others being somewhat aware of the strategy here.
I used the Clodsire build and Rillaboom. Beat him easily with both.
Quick question? Is this raid worth doing? Should I update, or should I just keep the Sceptile raid.
Clodsire your time to shine!
A very nice build is lurantis i managed to solo with these ability and moveset
Ability: Contrary
Moveset:
Leaf storm
Synthesis
Giga drain
Sunny day
I used teal mask ogerpon holding a shell bell, with the move set of ivy cudgle horn leech low sweep and grassy terrain
Bouta try this now. Will comment my loss rage shortly.
loss rage lol
@@Osirus 😤😤 ok. I won.
Thanks for the guides, boss!
Got 1 sweet and 1 sour herbs from that raid too
Is this considered to be good for farming Herba Mystica?
This raid came with a few changes which makes this run easier. The EVs in Sp. Atk and HP have been removed, and they altered the shield to be less effective. The damage output for tera is now the standard 20/30/70% we've seen for most raids. This info can be found on the Serebii page.
Someone mentioned this also, but this can no longer be a Jumbo Pikachu. The scale has been set to 128.
I used a dive ball for mine coz water, but damn the serperior worked amazingly, I was lucky to not even get to yellow health or miss any giga drains. My first successful 7-star raid.
I got it with the use of Lurantis
Funny enough the only down side was someone brought the steel poison Pokemon that looks like a car motor to the raid. Lost to surf at the first go. Had to work hard and fast. We had an olivia (sorry I don't remember it's name fully) and, iron hands (yes I know) but did amazing damage. The iron hands focused on fighting moves and became fighting Tera type. Did some damage. Olivia (I can't get its name right) was an amazing back up with its leaf storm and, giga drain.
Sinistcha takes it down every time. Max special def. Max special attack with attack down and special attack up. Covert cloak. Nasty plot , matcha
Shiny Arceus meadow plate stellar terra. Recover, bulk up (for added defense to help with iron tail), calm mind, judgement. Spam calm mind and bulk up and use recover when needed. Easy win in solos.
Instead of using covert cloal on serperior,I’ve used cheri berry because it’s funny when iron tail hits and raises your defense instead of lowering it
gotem the day after the alola raichu hunting stream i got 5 of them
5 shiny alola raichu
Lurantis is very good. 🔥
So is it a coded thing the tera raid is 50% because the Light Ball doubles Pikachu's Atk and SpAtk, been that way since Gen V
It took me some time but gogoat cleared the raid for me. Max hp and Sp. Def, modest nature, grass pelt ability, terrain extender as item held, moves are growth ,sunny day, horn leech (max pp is best) and grassy terrain. Switch item to cloak would be best if this helps.
I just found a shiny Raichu aloha form earlier today.
I used the Serperior build and I used the fast ball to catch Pikachu
I used lurantis but with metronome as held item - i finished the raid with 75% on time still
I keep grassy terrain than sunny day and didn’t have an issue at all
I used mew with tera grass adamant nature, synchronize ability, shell bell item and moves sunny day, knock off, swords dance and solar blade, it was pretty easy despite the fact that i made a mistake and started swords dancing instead of attacking and got the terra very late
used Ogerpon. shell bell. EVs in attack and HP. Defiant. Ivy Cudgel, Horn Leech, Swords Dance, Knock Off.
Lurantis worked perfectly, beat it first try lol
I used Meowscarada with knock off, giga drain, flower trick, and honed claws, grass Terra, with shell bell.
This build worked for me although I messed it up the first time around because I forgot Protean would change my type to Dark so had to make sure to start with a giga drain on the first attack second time around. Then I simply used Knock off, hone claws until my health was looking low, then giga drain until I could terrastalize, then I flower tricked my way to victory.
Maybe a vid of various ways to shinny hunt these Pokémon other than sandwiches
I used a Clodsire ground tera. Much slower. Storm drain or whatever ability negates water moves. HP and Def IVs. Curse x6 and earthquake it down. I had the egg move Recover, but didn't need it. And Gunkshot. Used gunkshot to build up tera charge after using 6x curses, terastalised and just EQed it down. And shell bell.
Yo Lee my man what's up I just beaten Pikachu on my first try with Serperior!
Hey Tyler!! Awesome to hear the Serperior came through hope you get a lot of luck with the Herba drops while this ones running :)
@@Osirus Oh yeah it works wonderfully the moves that I got on mines was Sunny Day, Solar Beam, Grassy Terrain, and Leaf Storm!
How do you do health wise throughout the raid with that setup?@@tylerblount6322
Can i do this with sceptile?
Full squad of ogerpon does the job, but honestly max speed serperior with the build suggested here was the best. Fewer liabilities and the chance of getting useful support thru NPCs is more promising than idiots and trolls
the Serperior worked great, had to stop the first time since i didnt watch my health but i defeated the pikachu the second time, really helps to save right before the raid and turn autosave off.
Fishing for Arboliva as an ally makes this even easier
I hope when they stop active support for this gen, they cycle through all the 7 star raids every week
Serperior is my go to Pokemon for this raid. Too bad we can't have more pp for leaf storm.
Hello! How do you get the Contrary ability for Serperior? I get that it's a hidden ability, but is there a way to get it without having it traded?
If you have an ability patch that will change the ability to Contrary :)
@@Osirus YES! I was able to get 2 from some lucky easier raids from the past. Thank you so much for the guide and replying!
Clodsire just cant die amazing😂😂😂😂
I was able to beat it with the annahilape (unsurprisingly), max hp and attack. Pp maxed rage fist and focus energy with shell bell tera ghost, literally just keep spamming rage fist and you can get away with being knocked out up to two times before teraing, just watch out with getting paralyzed, focus energy isn't needed but if you can sneak one in it helps speed up the raid
Ogerpon Raid build:
Ivy
Horn leech
Focus energy
Swords dance
Held item:
Scope lens
Evs:
Max hp
Max attack
Focus energy turn 1, SD once. Spam horn leech till orb charge. Tera ivy cudgel hits hard and almost always crits for more dmg. Iron tail will give u defiant boost. Enjoy the build.
Grass tera Leafeon did pretty good on beating if fast
i use the clodsire..slow and steady
Where do you find knock off in violet?
I just used Ogerpon and beat it first try.
Shell bell, 252 atk and spd with 6 hp.
Ogrepon absolutely decimates Pikachu
Swords Dance
Focus Energy
Horn Leech
Signature move
Adamant nature
Defiant ability
Covert cloak, or shell bell
Seriously it's way too strong,
One hit from signature move while plus 6 with focus energy, and it's over in 1 or two hits
Use horn leech to recover
I used Ogerpon and it was easy, the ev's are not even in hp or any def. i used the ev's in attk and speed with moveset Ivy cudgel, horn leech, play rough (didn't used it) and sword dance and shell bell as the hold item, horn leech ican heal a lot after 1 sword dance and once you get to tera ivy cudgel can finish the job in 3 or 4 hits (i was at plus 6 in attk)
i used ogerpon is that a good
I soloed with Chestnaught and Meowscarada
I just beat the raid with a serperior, WITHOUT knowing this video existed.😅 I now own a 7* Pikachu and Shiny Alolan Raichu.
The build I used on my Serperior used the moves, Coil, Leaf blade, Giga drain(didn't see use😅) and light screen.(Man I did the raid unintentionally on hard mode.😅) and held item was a shell bell. Nature was sassy, stats were basically how Serperior's Graph looks when you press the L bumper. Hyper training was done with a gold bottle cap(thank you BBA item printer) and the tera type was Grass. Raid was defeated successfully at 2:30am on Friday 12 July 2024. If I do try to farm this raid, I will use a different build and Pokémon.
If you’ve already caught mightiest mark pikachu and transfer it to your home account will it let you catch another?
Only works on your current save file, unless you have another copy of Scarlet/Violet and another profile to grind on
Im solo-ed ohko with Venusaur
Venusaur @ Cloak Covert
Modest nature
EV: 252 SpAtk/ 200def/ 56spdef
Moveset:
- Sunny Day
- Acid spray
- Growth
- Petal Dance or Giga drain (if u play safe)
Turn 1: Sunny Day
Turn 2-4: Growth
Wait clear stats
Turn 5-7: Acid spray
( heal if needed)
Turn 8: Petal dance or giga drain if u play safe
I used Gastrodon with a Grass Terra to beat Pikachu stopped it from using Surf and Thunder just worry abt iron tail and play rough 👍🏽
Now shiny hunting alolan raichu in the terrarium. Got 2 shinies so far but no marks.
Edit: Ended up with 6 shinies. Two jumbo and 4 non-marked. Will continue when i get back home from work.
