- Pokemon recently added a 19th Type - the Stellar type - and players thought it would take over the game. But somehow, Stellar is one of the worst types - here's how it happened.

You don't use stellar tera type because it sucks. I don't use stellar tera type because I don't have the DLC. We are not the same
It took me way too long to realize this wasn’t an April Fool’s joke and I’m just out of the pokemon loop
It won’t matter in one or two years when gen ten throws terastilization out the window with z moves and dynamaxing.
Wolfe has the patience of a saint to explain this to people who: A. Don't have the DLC and B. Don't plan on remembering any of this when it is swept aside for the gimmick of the next generation.
To be fair, the stellar type is not a new type. It's a gimmick within a gimmick, marketed as a new type to generate hype and expectation.
The true stellar type was the incineroar we found along the way
I choose to believe that stellar type was made super effective against terastalized Pokémon because Game Freak saw all the memes about Tera electric Shedinja with air balloon and panicked
The slowly dawning realization this wasn't an April's Fools video, they are really discussing the Tera-only Type as if it was a full-on Pokémon Type.
This is like the embodiment of everything I dislike about modern Pokémon, they just keep adding these one off, barely realised mechanics that don’t feel connected to the broader game.
And to think that Masuda removed the Azure Flute event back in D/P/Pt because he thought it would be too difficult for players to understand it...
"What's the point ?"
There's nothing quite as depressing as something you loved as a kid becoming the most successful franchise in history, and turning to absolute feces.
On the Contrary, my Serperior is liking it quite a bit!
Worth noting, Stellar form Terapagos is not a Stellar type; it's still considered a Normal type that is Terastalized into Stellar. Funnily enough, because the type of Tera Starstorm changes, this actually means that it loses the STAB boost and gets slightly weaker, which is why on Showdown you sometimes see Terapagos running moves like Tri Attack alongside or instead of it.
Stellar type is an added feature to the games terastal gimmick
Stellar isn’t even really a new type it can only be used when in Tera form that’s like saying mega Pokémon are entirely new Pokemon
Wolf : I think all of you are stellar !
What are they even going to do with Terapagos and Ogerpon in future gens when there is no tera?
I think the Stellar Tera function is do the tera raids more easy. You can hit the shield with tera-super effective attacks with types that resist the tera-raid boss.
So it's basically almighty from SMT, you can't be weak to it, but you can't resist it either.
