I got 5 vintage Burberrys trench coats. Three of them were unworn when I bought them: two double brested and one single brested made from sharkskin gabardine. I also got three vintage Aquascutum Trench coats. Those are amazing coats that those companies don't make anymore. Aquascutum it doesn't even exist. I like Greenfel coats but I don't think they're better than Burberrys. Thank you for the video
Just scored one of these last week in excellent shape for 12.99 at a local Goodwill. Did not realize what I had until bringing it home. Now I'm trying to find out the perfect hat to go along with these trench coats. Thankful for any suggestions.

The vintage Burberry trench coats are very nicely constructed and are a classic! I like the open slit in the pockets to access your pants pockets. Do any of your coats have the button flap closures on the pockets? I know some of the vintage Burberry models have them. Wouldn't mind seeing more videos of you explaining more of the details on the traditional double breasted trench coat. Do you own any other Burberry trench coats or others like it?
Hi, the open slit in the pockets or the through pockets, I am wondering if You know anything about how to make them, I have one vintage trench coat form Horne Brothers, and the only thing missing is those pockets, I can't find any books or posts on how to sew them on. Great tip on what to look for in vintage Burberry's. Also an important point of rain coats below your knees. The knee is a moving joint that tends to rub against your pants as you walk and it is a pain to have your knees wet there. London Fog was popular in Canada but that is because they were made in Canada and not London, England. Any thoughts on Aquascutum?
@@cristianalexandru4294 Grenfell and Aquascutum are hardly seen in Canada. I did manage to score a Burberrys' like his (called a Car Coat) for $150, they go for $2050 today!

Grenfell seems more promising in materials then Burberry because they use synthetic fabrics in their coats and are charging more for it.
