- After getting my first taste of the Rocky Mountains we headed deeper into the trail system where the going started to get rough. I am new to the technical single track riding so it was a fun challenge and I had a blast picking lines and fighting my way up the hills.
I was taking it easy towards the beginning of the ride but as you will be able to see in the next few videos I definitely turned it up a notch. I must say I love the downhill sections the most and it is an amazing feeling when you find your groove and just plow through everything.
Part two from Taylor Park I hope you all enjoy!
#Colorado #KTM #SingleTrack - Zábava
I was born and raised In colorado and I've been riding dirt bikes since I was seven years old. Taylor's park is hands down some of the best single track riding in the entire state. Loved camping out their. Such great views. If you havent you should try American flag mountain. A 12000ft mountains that you can ride to the top and is one of the best views ever
All the Colorado riders RN: "yo, shutup, you aren't supposed to tell all these outsiders about our spots"
@@GenkiDamaSSJ 😂😂😂 that's very true man. Way too many people are ruining Colorado but it's cool attention deficit found one of Colorados hidden jewels

Just road three days of single track in and around cotton wood pass including Flag Mountain. Hands down best stuff I’ve done in CO.
Unfortunately EVERYONE and their fucking mama from Nebraska knows about Taylor Park now......
theres noth'in like sitt'in in my bed drinking coffee watching this.Great content and effort put into this video too
Thank you much!
I love riding there. Nothing better. Glad u enjoyed the trip.
You got that right! Loved it.
Amazing views! Awesome content and great edit! This is the place to be. FREEDOM! This should be our countries capital. I'm so stoked you made the trip and brought us along!! #bucket-list
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching as always brother, can't wait to see you in the GoPro footage someday!
Pretty intense terrain, I broke a sweat just watchin'. Awesome video!!
Glad you enjoyed it! It only gets worse..
Love the vids keep them up!!!
Thank you Travis!
That looks the off road areas right next to where I live. Except the mud. That carburetor sounds like a great improvement over traditional ones.
Absolutele loved it
Thank you!
Shout out to whoever maintains those trails. Awesome video bro
No doubt! Thank you.
We are planning a trip to Colorado next summer. We plan on pulling the RV out there from Florida. Can’t wait!
Thats awesome!! Get a gopro and record!! thats an epic trip!
Man I miss that place ! Been there 6 times! Best place to ride ! 👍🏻
It really is!
If you ever go back to Taylor park you guys should try out the timberline trail, it’s a challenge on four wheelers, took us 5 hours to go 5 miles but the dirt bikes we saw we’re going pretty quick on it
Fun video mate...I'm there in July for a week...can't wait...can you share your Gopro settings and model please?
nice trails there so far looks fun
It was a blast Kev!
Great time!!!!!
A bit of reminiscing I see!! I still dream about this trip brother I appreciate you having me.
@@AdventureDaily We are returning this year, and i'm starting to layout our routes :)
My back yard-ish! Thanks for the share.
That's a blessing! Love your land.
@@AdventureDaily Our land my friend.
Rode this trail in August. 🤘🏻
Great video dude. Just a heads up, "little short cuts" are a big deal out there and for good reason. Do the locals a favor and stay the trail so we can keep them open.
I agree and as you can see in the video I was not leading the pack!
Love the Taylor Park area. Pretty sure I recognized some of those trails. Curious if you're using an old GoPro or a different brand camera due to the lack of stabilization?
What was the singletrack trail called?
@AdventureDaily what trail was this? heading out there this week from Michigan
where did you stay? or can anyone suggest where to stay to ride Taylor Park? TIA
Y’all rode the timberline trail yet from
Mirror lake to Taylor ? That’s a fun one
i just did that last week, while it was was a adventure, prob not one id should have done solo lol. 50" was nice, but single track side of timberline got a little oof lol
Nice looking single track for sure! I could do without the rocks, that can get tiring, but it's worth it where you're at. Some day I'll have to ride CO. I heard there is some good stuff in Telluride as well. Did buddy with the Husky get the clutch working after he added some fluid I hope?
Probably slave cylinder failure.
We weren't able to get his clutch working unfortunately, we would get pressure back for a little but it would fade out quickly, I think Phil is right.
@@madman432000 That's the one big downside to a hydraulic clutch... I still like mine though, lol!
@@BarnStangz It's a Husqvarna and I know of a few that have had failed slave cylinder. In 16k miles on ktm I've never had a failed slave cylinder.
@@madman432000 16K miles wow! I only have a few hundred miles on my Beta, clutch has been okay. Hope it stays that way for a while!
I was just there!
Awesome! How was your tip?
So you did or didn't like the fatty front? I'm still unsure...good for sand in the dez but I didn't like it so much for CO hardpack.
I loved it! But wouldn't know much of a difference as it was the only tire I rode in this terrain.
Anddddd we are back !
Yeah buddy!
I could enjoy Taylor on my 690 it does well in the woods and better on more open trail
Sure you could!
What kind of maintenance do you do in between day rides like this? Oil? Air filter?
I went the full trip without a gear oil change, it’s a 40 hour recommended interval for my 250XCw. Air filter I changed once during the trip but probably should have done it twice.
Attention Deficit thanks! I’m looking to get a 300 xcw so I was curious where this will be my first 2 stroke.
I was out there last week for 7 days, and it was super dry and dusty. I opted for filter skins to make maintenance really easy
trail workers are obviously making an attempt to re vegetate area blocked off with boulders so that "little shortcut" at 6min 30secs lets stay the trail in colorado and follow the rules so that we all continue to enjoy these awesome trails
As I was just watching this video I couldn’t have said it better myself, this is the very reason trails are closed here in colorado. Might not seem like a big deal but it really is please if you come back to ride here STAY THE TRAIL.
where you using a different GoPro/camera? The quality at the start and light exposure felt grainy and off...
CZcams hates GoPro footage, probably just the color grading you noticed, hopefully someday they will get their compression figured out, looks beautiful from the raw file.
What trail was this?
I gotta go out there ASAP 😫
Yes we do!
Attention Deficit just say when 🤷♂️
Man CO is so special
Id rather go to CO again than any other state! I'm really lookin forward to a trip out with the bike!
Would you suggest a Honda crf250L for someone only 5 foot 2
It will be a bit tall but you can make it work!
If you plan on riding trails don’t get a CRF 250L it’s too heavy and is more for dirt roads then trail riding .
Levi should've gotten a 2 stroke ;-p jk, that clutch res looked a little low on fluid. air in the line?
No kidding haha! Fluid definitely was low but could have been that way from the dealer.
FE 450 clutch slave cylinder is guaranteed to fail.
What trail is this
When 10,000+ bikers ride it a season you can expect whoops. Taylor park has long been discovered.
True!
Hi from Utah
Hello there!!
Hi from BC
What happened to the CRF250L ?
About to be sold!
Wow, thought you loved it !
Tanner I need a lectron for my 20 tc 250.
FI not cutting it haha?
IM SURPRISED YOU DON'T HAVE ALEXIS WITH YOU MAN
She wasn't ready for this! Would have been fine this day but it got much worse.
It did look pretty ***CRAZY*** but
Lots of beautiful views some of the spots you guys were riding through
Would have been an awesome place to build a dream log home on all the mountainous sceanory and fresh water streams I'm not sure if I would have tried to ride up the rocky areas good way to break the bikes
I’ve been on that trail and you think that is hard you have no idea
This was easy
What trail is this? It looks like a great one for a warm up to timberline or doctor park or cement creek…
I'm glad you got out of CO before the riots.
O snap!! Riots???
@@SickofOhio I saw a report of rioting in Denver. I think the cops shot some one, so now it's time to burn stuff down apparently.
So many f...ING ads in this video. CZcams is really starting to suck!
download an adblocker ...they're free
It's free to watch! Pay for YT Red if you want ad free.
Colorado is so far so disappointing. We have a trail grading system in Australia .Grade 1-4 .Grade 4 being the most difficult. These trails would not rate a grade 1.Our national highways are rougher than this ....hahaha
Here in Pennsylvania our trails are much harder huge hill climbs ,blasted rock everywhere huge coal hills
You will have to stay tuned, these were just fire roads and light trails to get to some of the overlooks. It gets rockier trust me.
@@AdventureDaily A tank of fuel to get to decent tracks?
“Little short cut no big deal”
More out of staters messing it up for locals. More and more trails are closed each year because of things like this. Come on!!
Just dropped down to the comments to mention that as well.
Yeah that was a mistake!
Please edit out "shortcuts" There was ZERO reason to leave that in the video.
At 6:30 you took a “short cut” through a blocked off area. Please don’t do this (or at least don’t show yourself doing this for newer riders to follow your example....) trails in Colorado are being completely closed off because of damage to blocked off areas.
