DO NOT WATCH THIS if you're easily offended. If jokes about David Carradine's death by autoerotic asphyxiation are going to upset you, then skip this episode. That being said, this is our second Chuck Norris movie and we absolutely loved it. This was our first review on the channel with David Carradine, and we actually enjoy a lot of his work (despite our jokes), so fireworks popped off. We had a ton of fun with this.

Unfortunately, I had to censor the majority of the Carradine jokes because of good ol' CZcams. After trying to figure out what could stay and what couldn't, I just took most of them out. Riki-Oh was demonetized last week, so I couldn't risk not getting paid two episodes in a row. My apologies. Hopefully you can still infer the jokes.
No need to get hung up on it. I can see how CZcams would be at the end of your rope and get you all choked up.
I will take whatever you have to offer. Riki-Oh was am amazing.
youtube is a bitch
I'm really not that sad about that. This is a good movie, one of my favorites, and I was really looking forward to the team talking about it. Having the episode about it being riddled with tired, over used jokes about a man's.. unfortunate death, well it stunk.
meh, we (or at least me) can read lips. ;p if anything it's like the Bad Lip Reading channel and we can fill in the blanks on our own :P
David Carradine' performance is breathtaking, especially as the story builds up to its climax. A worthy notch in Mr Carradine's acting belt.
*claps*
Sir........You know exactly what you did.
Yes
Things escalated so rapidly and then- an abrupt end. You could say that he came and then he went.
Beautiful 🤣
Robert Beltran played the DPS deputy. He later went on to play Commander Chakotay on Star Trek: Voyager
Thanks.
LOL! You beat me to it!
Yup. I was screaming, "It's Chakotay!"
Beltran was also a lead in the movie “Night of the Comet” which should be put on their SBIG list also. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_of_the_Comet
@@JasonBrant He was also in the tasteless black comedy ''Eating Raoul', with B-movie minor royalty Paul Bartel and Mary Woronov.
I love how the barbarians sound is still in all these episodes. Really the highlight of the episodes for me! Hahah
It might be here to stay.
@@JasonBrant Good! I can't think of a funnier 'censor' sound to use. Keep it forever.
@@JasonBrant I associate that sound with your channel and it's so fitting as a censor sound lol
I'm really glad you guys did this movie. The jeans that Chuck is wearing he actually sold in the Century catalog back in the early 80's he wore them in a lot of his movies. My mom bought me a pair when I was 9 😁 David Carradine also sent some Chuck's stuntmen to the hospital because he had no control during the fight scenes. He also really hit the girl that played Chuck's daughter. And apparently both chuck and David didn't get along. And chuck warned him that if David hit him the face during a fight scene Chuck was going to retaliate
They both seem like they have overwhelming personalities that wouldn’t mesh very well. I wouldn’t mind seeing them really duke it out though
According to the director they practicality did. 😆
You mean Carradine wasn't a martial artist? 🤣
@@JasonBrant😆 he was never a Shaolin Monk either 🤣😆
@@TheGemini35 well, he WAS working on his breathing exercises....
22:54 Dave: They... killed... the wolf! (Kisses the pooch) Nobody's gonna hurt you! Get under the blankie!
Also, it's amazing how Barbara Carrera was in this gem and a Bond girl in the same year...
Sure thing since she is "very talented" 😄
One of Chucks stunt doubles...
Aaron Norris, his brother.
Yep, the only guy who could do Chuck stunts too dangerous for Chuck...
His Big Brother.
Who was also a producer on many of the movies.
His brother was his stunt double? I didn't know that. Thanks for the info!
@hakirimas Lmao.
The Canon guys needed to finish their movies AND keep the insurance guys quiet.
But you're right...
I think Aaron spent a LOT more time being a producer than he ever did being Chucks stand in.
Didn't he also direct a bunch of his 90s movies, too? Like Side Kicks?
@@B.-T. Yes, he did. In fact, Side Kicks is getting an upcoming 4K/ Blu Ray release from Vinegar Syndrome later this month.
Chuck was the oldest son. Aaron is his little brother.
I don't know how David Carradine missed Chuck Norris from 10 feet away. When his life was on the line, he choked
Jesus 🤣
Just when he couldn't get any more comfortable, he breaks out the blanket! Best friend ever on the left!
The true power of a Chuck Noris was finally revealed in this movie. The constant influx and baptism in beer and mud 😆
The constant beer chugging cracked me up.
They should've put a "power level: 9000!" on the screen when he dumps the beer on himself. Ah..missed opportunities..
Every time I see David Carradine I feel a little choked up.
🤣 🤣
I see what you did there
Oh damn.. Its like it could almost kill you
"No, YOU don't eat coconuts she puts in your fridge! You drink beer -- out of the garbage -- like a man!"
Chuck Norris and Lance Armstrong recently had a who's got the most testicles contest.
Chuck Norris won by five.
If you've never seen Silent Rage, that one is pretty hilarious. It's basically like 'What if you made a slasher movie, but with Chuck Norris instead of Doctor Loomis?'
I always get that one confused with the hero and the terror
And the guy they brought back to life had no soul....like Disney Star Wars.
So a short film?
I would hate to tie us up with negative discourse, but I am at the end of my rope with all these tasteless David Carradine jokes. I get all choked up when I think about his last moments on Earth, and here you are exploiting the way he hung it up. It's really hitting below the belt, even if the belt was positioned unusually high in this case.
My apologies 🤣
I wouldn't hang around for anymore Paul...
Relax, Paul... It was just a choke.
🤣😂🤣 Fuck me this is funny! Or I mean DEADLY SERIOUS!
Omg these comments!
Loved this. The constant laughter and jokes with you all were hilarious.
Thanks, John!
4.25 minutes in and I'm shouting at the screen. Chakotay!! Voyager!! You guys liven up my Sunday evenings. 😆
🤣 Thanks.
Not surprised CZcams made you censor yourselves - they're really choking the life out of smaller channels.
Still, it is nice to see the whole gang hanging out together, enjoying Chuck Norris leaving people out of breath and writing in pain (as Batman changed back into Bruce Wayne... but Chuck saw through his disguise, and crushed Batman's head in between his thighs...)
🤣 🤣
So much better than my version of this joke. Well played.👏👏👏
🤣nice one
@@JasonBrant that wasn't Eric Estrada it was Robert Beltran from Star Trek Voyager!
One of my favorite movies growing up, my father loved Chuck Norris and this was one of his favorites as well. This movie brings a lot of memories of my late father. Thanks for this one!
I like C.N a lot,as far as martial arts goes Chuck is the real deal.
I'm glad Chuck didn't choke when the pressure was on. He gave Carradine no slack.
🤣 🤣 Goddamn.
I almost choked when I saw David Carradine was in this. His screen presence has a stranglehold on me. He's neck and neck with Chuck Norris as my favorite filmic performer, but I prefer when Carradine performs alone. He should have starred in World's Greatest Dad instead of Robin Williams.
l see this rssrsrs
I thought Dave was going to lose his mind when he saw Carradine's name.
Carradine's final performance was..... breathtaking.
I'll see myself out.

I can't wait until they review Death Race 2000.
Had a really good time this week. Glad to see everyone together. I get all choked up to think of how many actors we have lost too soon. But we all must make that trip. The trip to that rafter-suspended swing in the sky
🤣 🤣 Nice, Cody!
If you're 10 years old, not only does the super charged truck breaking out of it's own grave make perfect sense, it's obviously the coolest most badass thing you've ever seen. So, yes, I've seen this one and loved it.
The most shocking thing about Chuck Norris is that he just turned 82 🤔
Chuck Norris is ageless. It's the world that ages around him.
The dude is a beast.
This was so good. Good to see all the gang together. The dog stroking cuts cracked me up! Thanks so much to everyone!
Thanks! We had a ton of fun with this one.
There is just something about the old school stunt work in the movies that used practical effects that can't be replicated. There was a Burt Reynolds movie the folks took us to back in the day called Hooper, and it was a love letter to the American Stuntman. It featured a young Jan Michael Vincent a few years after his turns in a Disney movie and a hitman in The Mechanic, and before his demons took over, his star was rising. He was good in this flick as a young stuntman coming in, and there are some great cameos. I think you guys would like it, as it seems to track right up your alley. And with the practical stunt work in it, the final sequence had to be shot all in one take with no room for error, and Reynolds insisted on doing a lot of his own stunt work in that and other movies, especially the driving sequences.
.
There's another Reynolds movie from back in the day called Stick. It doesn't get the greatest of reviews, but it is a fun time. One of the bad guys in the movie was played by a stunt man, and he did a stunt later on in the movie that was a world record at the time, and hadn't been performed without safety equipment before, if I remember correctly. He ad libbed what happened during the fall, and while people on the ground were congratulating him on surviving the stunt he was asking if they got the shot. Stuntmen sure are a different breed.
When I was a kid, I really liked Malone, Stick, Heat, Sharkey’s Machine, even Gator and White Lightning. I remember Hooper; it was definitely Burt and Hal Needham’s tribute to stuntmen, as they both worked as stuntmen early in their careers.
Haven't heard of either of those. I'll check them out, thanks. Love me some good stunt work.
Stuntmen need their own Oscar category.
@@JasonBrant You stick with me, kid. I'll introduce you to a bunch of older movies you haven't heard of. Maybe even some newer ones. I do love me some B Movies and am always drawn to good stunt work. And because of my Dad's influence, I'm drawn to Western cinema as well.
@@JasonBrant seriously, the stunt work in Hooper and Stick is Elite level high water mark work. Definitely worth checking out on the channel for 80's cheese factor.
As a 51 yr-old, who watched this (and many of the ones you've done) in the theaters - the most amusing parts are when ya'll mis-pronounce (or totally butcher) the names or guess something incorrectly - "The guy from Chips", "Emilio", "Erik Estrada", "McKade", all of them .
Seriously, though, I love seeing how much enjoyment you all get watching them. We had the same smiles on our faces when they were originally shown. We new it was cheese, but since that was such a big part of the 80s diet it was ok :)

"What beer is he drinking?" - Pearl - Local to Tx. (and yes, if you're over 40 and "Texas country" , you've had a Pearl at one point. Also great for soaking into deer corn for hog hunting ) :P
Wow- you all are hilarious 🤣- this was my favorite episode, laughed my ass off, fun fact: Roger Ebert gave this 3.5 stars and a big thumbs up, while Gene Siskel gave it 2.5 (but he was always kind of a jerk off) 😂 thanks for this one!
Thanks, Scott. Siskel didn't understand fun, apparently.
Chuck Norris acting was great in Lone Wolf McQuade. Can't act that tought without being that tough. David Carradine's acting wasn't bad either. He didn't choke, so that's a plus.
Supposedly Chuck got majorly pissed at Carradine who he thought was unprofessional and dangerous as he kept hitting and injuring stunt people in fight scenes. You have to remember he was chosen for Kung Fu because he was a dancer and could do high kicks and it wasn't till later he did any training unlike Norris who was a professional martial artist
I was 7 years old when I watch this with dad and my god this movie was so awesome. Hated his dog dying and I really wanted a supercharged Bronco. You guys should watch Silent Rage another Chuck Norris movie this is actually horror. I don't want to say much more but seriously it's underrated!! Thanks for this and all your guys videos!
Thanks, Jesse! Silent Rage is on the list. You gonna make the livestream tonight?
@@JasonBrant Yes I am!
It's a Dodge Ram Charger 🐏 .... not a Ford Bronco.
I remember watching this as a kid and the most iconic thing about this movie was when Chuck Norris drove his truck out of a grave. I've never forgotten that moment and I'll remember it for the rest of my life.
Chuck Norris is so tough, he sleeps with a pillow under his gun. 😄
This was absolutely hilarious! I loved it. This movie is a totally epic fav.
Also, that "chips dude" is Robert Beltran. I NEVER realized it was him until now. He played the first officer on Star Trek Voyager.
Been waiting so long for someone to do a proper reaction to this movie. I love it. The truck in the ground scene made it to my top 10 WTF movie car scene lists. LOL, I love the crap out of that moment. Apparently it was real beer and Chuck said in Black Belt magazine he burnt his eyes pouring that stuff over him.
LOVE this buried alive scene. It's like Chuck pushing this poor Ramcharger from the ground himself sitting inside.
I had such a crush on Commander Chakotay when I was young. Nice to see him in something else.
I didn't recognize him.
My wife and I love your show. She has expressed to me countless times how much you (Jason) remind her of me pertaining to how we analyze and enjoy movies. You all are amazing and I would love nothing more than to watch a wonderfully awful movie with you all over a good beer. Cheers. 🍻

@@JasonBrant did you use some green screen trickery for getting her in front of you? I get real weird uncanny valley vibes from this setup since you seem to be in front of her with your legs. I don't get it
You have to review "Breaker! Breaker!" It was Chuck's first starring role in an American made movie and it's absurd and fun. He's credited as the martial arts choreographer as well.
Chuck Norris is the undisputed American hero.
When he was deployed to Vietnam after finishing basic training in 26 minutes, he refused to take the Navy ship carrying his unit. Due to the urgency of the battle of Huê, he decided to swim the Pacific instead. By the time his unit arrived in Vietnam, he had already won the battle of Huê with days to spare.
The arrival of Chuck Norris in Vietnam forced the Vietcong troops to go underground via the use of tunnels. But, unfortunately for the U.S., Chuck Norris one day had to swim back to the U.S. for a family emergency. That was the day when Saigon fell to the North Vietnamese. The sudden leave of Chuck Norris had a drastic impact on the South Vietnamese army's morale to the point that they simply couldn't defend the capital from the enemy.
Little dude was from Time Bandits. Played Wally l believe. Lol good villain.
31:29 Poor Brian! That "belt" fed joke was good but everyone missed it...
Just some odd fun facts:
the crossbow chuck uses, is a Barnett Commando
(it was a self cocking model that hinged in the middle, with 2 little arms that draw the string...my father loved this movie so much he bought an exact copy)
as far as chuck kicking in Jean's...he actually had his own line of blue Jean's designed during his time so that he could still kick.
Same crossbow Ms Havelock uses in "For your eyes only".
I need those jeans.
@@JasonBrant You have kicks like that??

I have only discovered this gem of a CZcams channel and have spent the last few days binge watching videos! Love the content guys. Dave proper cracks me up, he’s quality! Can’t wait to see more!
It's crazy how much Chuck looks like Clint Eastwood in this movie.
This was a fun video! A classic Western-Action-Martial Arts hybrid that still ranks as one of Chuck's best. Fun fact: Chuck had those jeans special made so he could perform the kicks in them without ripping. Century Products would go on to shill those jeans in martial arts magazines for years. I had the pleasure of communicating with director Steve Carver on Facebook over the years and he was really proud of this one. RIP, Steve... Aside from someone else mentioning SILENT RAGE (1982)--which you should screen, I highly recommend AN EYE FOR AN EYE (1981, also Steve Carver), FORCED VENGEANCE (1982), A FORCE OF ONE (1979) and THE OCTAGON (1980). These movies represent Chuck at his most fertile martial arts phase!
lol I had to scroll through the comments to see if anyone else remembered those jeans!

Think that guy you thought was the guy in Chips was in a Star Trek tv series. Think his tv name was Chachotay or something like it. he was like second in command with Captain Janeway. He is very young in this movie. He also had a role in the movie ‘Night Of the Comet’. Also a little bit older at that time, this was an eighties movie. Then he went on to the Star Trek role. Can’t remember his name at this time…
I must have done a shitty job editing that part, because way too many people are telling us he isn't Erik Estrada. We didn't think it was Estrada.
David Carradine was a terrific actor. The way he would belt out his lines. He rarely ever slipped up.
He was legit good. But damn 🤣
Chuck Norris is a monument! And Dave stroking his "dog" all along .. almost soiled myself on this one guys! Awesome video!

True Chuck Norris story:
So, despite all the memes and all the action movies, Chuck Norris actually believes in nonviolent solutions to problems.
So, he's sitting in a bar and a guy walks up to him and says: "You're in my seat, MOVE"!
So, Chuck gets up offers the guy the seat, the guy REALIZES it's CHUCK FN NORRIS and says:
OMG, your Chuck Norris, you could've kicked my ass, why didn't you just beat me up"?
Chuck responds: "What would that have accomplished"?
They remain friends to THIS day!
It was a little snippet from his book!

When she tries to throw away Chucks brew, he gives her a look that could gurgle choke a Carradine
When Chuck Norris does pushups, he doesn't push himself up, he pushes the Earth down. He's good as the tough guy hero type in many movies. Some of his films are B movies and hokie but no matter.

I think Lola was basically forced to go with the flow given her speech at the end how Carradine killed her man to make her his financial partner and took her regardless. But I do like the bit where he is cut up after killing her too.
