There's 8.5 which is neutral toned. Also, applying with fingers let's it melt into the skin better than a brush.

I have both #7 & #8 I mix them and it turns our good. Tones the yellow way down…hope that helps! It definitely works for me and keeps my oils at bay. I am in healthcare and always in motion so my t-zone is always shiny. I do not have to blot as much when using this balm. Also I live in the south (Georgia) so it’s humid.

Myself personally, I love this product though I use the Universal shade and I use it underneath my other foundations because the other shades didn't work for me. The key is to let the balm sit for a little bit and it starts to get matte.

I’m glad you liked it in the end. You have to let it sit/dry down and it’s a light to medium coverage. I have combo oily skin, and use it either as a primer or no makeup makeup days. Also there’s an 8.5 that you might like better.

I think #8.5 would be a better match for you as it’s not as yellow as #8. I found fingers worked best overall for application and even coverage, then I use my concealer to spot conceal. I love how well it controls my oils. I can get away without having to touchup or blot.

The primer/foundation looks very good on your skin! It didn't appear too yellow to me either under the studio or natural light. I think this was a great SUCCESS!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Hi Mufidah, I can see what you mean about the foundation being yellow. I could see it before you went over it with the sponge and that seemed to tone it down a bit. Your skin looks great after the concealer and powder. In the natual light, I think it looks beautiful. You were being so negative in the beginning, not giving it a chance to settle. It looks wonderful at the end. It’s a great product with great coverage.
What I don’t understand is this is supposed to be a mattfying product and yet it has hyalaraunic acid in it which draws water in the air to your face….
You have to remove sleep mucus from corners of eyes.

The final look is good as usual… and the colour worked out…. I thought you were trying out the foundation… so you wouldn’t add the concealers and powders etc to test the product…
I was , I tried it out as I would like to use it in reality to see if it would work for me.
Whenever you're trying out a new product, you have to use it as you would normally use it because it has to work for your lifestyle
